Abstract

Education plays a strategic role in developing high-quality and competitive human resources. However, the challenges of globalization and technological advancements require educational institutions to reform through innovation in educational management. This study aims to analyze the role of educational management innovation in improving the quality and effectiveness of education, identify challenges in its implementation, and formulate relevant strategies to address changing times. This study employed a library research method, reviewing various literature and previous research findings related to educational innovation and management. The results indicate that educational management innovation plays a significant role in improving the quality of the learning process, the professionalism of educators, and the effectiveness of the education system. Through the application of technology, integrated quality management strategies, and collaborative leadership, educational institutions can create adaptive, creative, and student-centered learning environments. Key challenges in implementing innovation include limited resources, low digital literacy, and resistance to change. Therefore, innovative strategies are needed that focus on strengthening educator competencies, cross-stakeholder collaboration, and government policy support. In conclusion, innovation in educational management is the primary foundation for realizing a high-quality, effective, and sustainable education system in the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tahap implementasi kegiatan penanganan yang dilakukan oleh orang tua terhadap anak autis di rumah. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi terhadap orang tua dari anak autis berusia 7 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua telah melakukan beberapa bentuk penanganan seperti memberikan stimulus komunikasi nonverbal, membimbing kegiatan sederhana, serta menenangkan anak saat tantrum dengan pendekatan emosional. Meskipun belum terstruktur secara sistematis dan masih menghadapi kendala seperti kurangnya fokus anak, tidak adanya rutinitas harian, serta lingkungan yang kurang mendukung, kegiatan tersebut memberikan dampak positif terhadap perkembangan anak, terutama dalam hal komunikasi dan perilaku. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa keterlibatan aktif orang tua sangat berpengaruh dalam mendukung proses tumbuh kembang anak autis.

Abstract

This study investigates how light intensity affects the development of green bean sprouts (Vigna radiata). The method used is to review various related scientific writings. The results show that light levels greatly influence how green beans grow. If there is insufficient light, green bean leaves tend to be pale, while if there is enough light, the leaves are fresh green because more chlorophyll is formed. Growth in the dark is faster, but the plants become weak and easily die. In contrast, plants exposed to sunlight can survive because light is important for photosynthesis, evaporation, and respiration. Photosynthesis is an important process that converts light energy into chemical energy for plant growth. This process is influenced by internal factors such as the amount of chlorophyll, and external factors such as light intensity, temperature, and CO₂ levels. By understanding these factors, plant growth can be improved. Green beans have a unique ability to take nitrogen from the air with the help of Rhizobium bacteria, making it easier to obtain nutrients. This study confirms that light is a major factor affecting the growth of green beans.

Abstract

Learning evaluation is a crucial component in the educational process to measure the success of students in achieving learning objectives. The quality of evaluation results heavily depends on the instruments used. Therefore, this paper aims to analyze various types of learning evaluation instruments and explain their development procedures to improve the quality of education. The method used is a literature study by reviewing various sources, including journals and other relevant scientific references. The research results show that learning assessment instruments are divided into two main categories, namely test instruments and non-test instruments. Test instruments, such as written tests, oral tests, and performance tasks, focus on measuring cognitive aspects. Meanwhile, non-test instruments, such as observation, interviews, questionnaires, and portfolios, are used to assess students' affective and psychomotor aspects. The proper and valid use of instruments is key to obtaining accurate and comprehensive data on students' learning progress. This paper concludes that the development of valid and reliable evaluation instruments requires systematic procedures, starting from the preparation of blueprints, item writing, to trial tests and result analysis. The use of diverse and high-quality instruments can provide more effective feedback for teachers to improve teaching strategies and, ultimately, encourage the overall enhancement of learning quality.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers in addressing bullying behavior at SDN 4 Pandan Wangi. The research was motivated by the prevalence of bullying cases in elementary schools, particularly in verbal and physical forms. This research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects were fifth and sixth grade homeroom teachers and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results revealed that the types of bullying occurring at SDN 4 Pandan Wangi included physical bullying (kicking, hitting, pulling hijabs, and pushing) and verbal bullying (mocking, body shaming, and calling peers by their parents’ names). The main contributing factors were family disharmony, peer influence, and socioeconomic conditions. The impacts of bullying included victims becoming withdrawn, losing self-confidence, and avoiding social interactions. Teachers played three key roles in tackling bullying: as advisors, by giving guidance and understanding about the dangers of bullying; as role models, by demonstrating respectful behavior and speech; and as facilitators, by mediating conflicts and maintaining supervision both inside and outside the classroom. However, the facilitator role was not fully optimal due to limited supervision and a lack of close teacher-student relationships.

Abstract

Bahasa adalah alat untuk berkomunikasi. Tumbuh kembang anak harus selalu diperhatikan oleh guru dan orang tua.Menemukan bakat dan minat belajar anak kecil yang dapat membantu mengembangkan kemampuan bahasa anak kecil adalah kewajiban para guru remaja. Informasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan yang teridentifikasi adalah belummaksimalnya perkembangan kemampuan berbahasa pada anak usia dini sehingga mengakibatkan terjadinya keterlambatan bicara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan peran guru sebagai pelatih dalam menstimulasi keterampilan berbahasaanak usia dini pada aspek berbicara di Kober Bina Bangsa; (2) mendeskripsikan peran guru sebagai pemandu dalam menstimulasi kemampuan berbahasa anak usia dini pada aspek berbicara; dan (3) mendeskripsikan dampak peran guru dalammenstimulasi kemampuan berbahasa anak usia dini pada aspek berbicara. Metode penelitian deskriptif dan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Jenis penelitian disebut studi kasus. Guru menikmati permainan menebak huruf, yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk membantu anak mengembangkan keterampilan berbahasanya dengan membimbingmereka melalui kegiatan yang mereka ikuti. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruhguru dan orang tua terhadap anak dengan perkembangan bahasa keterlambatan bicara.

Abstract

In the development of early childhood expressive language at PAUD Kober Kasih Ibu, several problems were found to be the lack of appropriate and interesting learning methods. One of the methods that is believed to be effective but has not been optimally applied is the storytelling method. Initial observations show that there are problems in the development of early childhood expressive language in PAUD Kober Kasih Ibu, especially related to the limitations of appropriate and interesting learning methods. Although the storytelling method is believed to have effective potential, its application in the field is considered not optimal. Departing from this background, this study focuses mainly on describing how storytelling methods can improve the ability of children aged 5–6 years to express their thoughts, ideas, and feelings verbally. The main purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness and impact of the application of storytelling methods on children's expressive language skills, as well as to describe in depth how to develop these skills in PAUD Kasih Ibu. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through triangulation techniques, namely observation of 5 children, in-depth interviews with 3 teachers, and documentation, in order to obtain a comprehensive and contextual picture of the phenomenon being studied. The results of the research and discussion indicate that the storytelling method is able to create an active, fun learning atmosphere, and encourage children's verbal participation. Children seem more enthusiastic, focused on listening, and dare to speak and respond to the stories told by the teacher. The use of this method has proven to be effective in supporting a more interactive and communicative learning process, as well as providing a meaningful learning experience for children.

Abstract

The Effect of Using the Quizizz Game on Learning Outcomes in Mathematics Subject of Grade V Students at SDK St. Yoseph 4 Naikoten, Kupang City. Undergraduate Thesis, Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Citra Bangsa University. Advisors: Roswita Lioba Nahak, S.Pd., M.Pd. & Yulsy Maselina Nitte, SH., M.Pd. Mathematics learning in elementary schools often faces several problems, such as students’ low interest in learning mathematics, the perception that mathematics is a difficult and boring subject, and students’ lack of focus during lessons. Moreover, when teachers ask about material taught in previous meetings, only a small portion of students are able to recall it well. The limited use of learning media, with teachers relying mainly on textbooks as the primary source, also contributes to students’ low understanding of mathematical concepts. This study aims to examine the effect of using the Quizizz game on mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDK St. Yoseph 4 Naikoten, Kupang City. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method, specifically using a non-equivalent control group pretest–posttest design. The sample consisted of 30 fifth-grade students. Research instruments included tests and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques involved normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis testing, and paired sample t-test. The results showed an increase in the average learning outcome scores from the pretest (67.67) to the posttest (77.67). The paired sample t-test results indicated a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (sig. 0.000 < 0.05) with a very strong correlation (r = 0.934). In conclusion, the use of the Quizizz game has a positive and significant effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDK St. Yoseph 4 Naikoten, Kupang City.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Word Card Media on the narrative writing skills of students. Using a Quasi-Experimental Design with quantitative and qualitative approaches, the research subjects were fifth-grade students at SDIT Al Fityah Pekanbaru. Data were collected through performance tests (pretest and posttest) measured using a rubric with five aspects of writing skills. The quantitative results show a significant increase in the students' average scores, rising from 67.61 to 81.52. The hypothesis test results indicate a significance value of $0.00$, which is less than $0.05$, confirming a significant influence of the Word Card media. The qualitative findings affirm that this improvement was primarily triggered by a fundamental change in the Word Choice and Vocabulary (Diction) aspect, shifting the students' writing from monotonous to precise. The Word Card Media, through its multisensory and collaborative activities, proved effective in overcoming writer's block and enriching diction, serving as the main catalyst for the overall improvement in writing skills.
