Abstract

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have become a global framework adopted by the Indonesian government down to the village level. This community service research (PkM) aims to empower the community of Datahu Village, Anggrek District, North Gorontalo Regency through the Independent Work Study (KKM) program, in integrating local product innovation and strengthening health literacy as concrete efforts to achieve SDG 3: Good Health, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production. The focus of innovation is the utilization of agricultural waste, namely corn silk, into herbal tea products with economic value and to control non-communicable diseases. Meanwhile, strengthening health literacy includes education on monitoring the nutritional status of infants, introduction to Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA), education on drug logos, Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors (PHBS), and anti-bullying prevention. The PkM method used is Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) through three main stages: potential assessment, program implementation (training and education), and evaluation. The results of the activities show a significant increase in the community's knowledge and skills in processing corn silk tea, as well as an increase in awareness and practice of PHBS and infant nutrition monitoring.

Abstract

This study focuses on describing and analyzing guidance and counseling service strategies for children with special needs, particularly those with autism, at SKH Pandita, Serang City. The primary objective is to understand how these strategies are designed and implemented to meet the unique needs of each student. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including direct observation, in-depth interviews with guidance and counseling teachers, parents, and other support staff, and documentation of service activities. The research results show that the guidance and counseling service strategy at SKH Pandita is designed individually and tailored to the characteristics of autistic students. Collaboration between guidance and counseling teachers, parents, and medical personnel is key to its successful implementation. The strategies implemented include the use of an individual approach, visual media to strengthen understanding, and positive reinforcement to foster adaptive behavior. The counseling program also focuses on developing social skills, emotional management, and increasing student independence. Despite challenges such as limited expertise and supporting facilities, the implementation of planned strategies and school support have had a positive impact on the psychosocial development of autistic students. This research underscores the importance of a collaborative and adaptive approach in providing guidance and counseling services to children with special needs.

Abstract

The digital transformation in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution presents both opportunities and challenges for the education sector. On one hand, digital technology enhances the effectiveness, flexibility, and quality of learning; on the other hand, disparities persist in infrastructure, teachers’ digital literacy, and the risks associated with excessive technology use. This study aims to analyze the role, innovations, challenges, and implications of digital technology within the framework of Education 4.0 and 21st-century learning. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method through a literature review of 15 SINTA-accredited journal articles. The results indicate that digital learning media—such as e-learning platforms, interactive videos, simulations, and project-based learning—support the development of 21st-century competencies, including critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration. However, the study also identifies several challenges, such as limited facilities, unequal internet access, and teachers’ readiness to adopt digital tools. The findings emphasize that strategies for integrating technology must be systematically, innovatively, and sustainably designed to enable digital technology to act as a catalyst for improving education quality. Therefore, this study highlights the importance of resource preparedness, continuous teacher professional development, and adaptive educational policies to strengthen the implementation of Education 4.0 in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the performance and evaluation of village officials in Deket Village. The subjects included all village officials, with a population of approximately 30 individuals. The method used was qualitative, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. Data were analyzed descriptively using a thematic approach to identify various factors influencing the achievement of performance standards and the effectiveness of performance evaluation. The research findings indicate that village officials have implemented the established performance standards, but there are several obstacles in implementing performance evaluation, such as limited human resources and administrative issues. This study recommends increasing the effectiveness of performance evaluation by strengthening the capacity of village officials, improving the documentation system, and using clearer and more measurable performance indicators. The results of this study are expected to serve as a guideline for other villages in improving their performance standards and village official evaluation processes.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the obstacles faced by fourth-grade students of SDN Kamal 1 in learning Pancasila Education. The research method used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the most dominant obstacles were lack of interest in learning, difficulty understanding abstract concepts, limited learning media, the influence of the social and family environment, limited time, differences in student abilities, and a lack of interesting and participatory learning activities.

Abstract

Human resource performance (HR performance) is a strategic factor that determines the effectiveness of public organizations. This study aims to analyze the performance level and the influencing factors among government employees in Lamongan Regency. The research applies a quantitative descriptive-associative approach with a total sample of 39 employees. The independent variables include ability, motivation, discipline, and responsibility, while the dependent variable is HR performance. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that the instruments are valid and reliable (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.882). The average HR performance score is 4.21, categorized as high. The four independent variables have a positive and significant influence on HR performance (R² = 0.724; Sig F = 0.000), with responsibility emerging as the most dominant factor (β = 0.341; Sig = 0.000). These findings highlight the importance of enhancing employees’ responsibility and motivation to strengthen performance within the public sector.

Abstract

Financing in Islamic banking represents the process of channeling funds to the public based on Islamicprinciples. This activity not only aims to generate financial returns but also emphasizes justice, transparency,and social responsibility. This article discusses the definition, function, legal foundation, and implementationprocess of financing in Islamic banking. Using a qualitative approach through literature studies fromvarious academic journals, the discussion reveals that Islamic financing fundamentally differs from conventional credit because it eliminates interest and replaces it with partnership-based schemes such asprofit-sharing, sale- based, or lease-based contracts. Abstract

The treatment of People with Mental Disorders (ODGJ) requires more than medical intervention; it also involves psycho-pedagogical approaches that emphasize psychological, social, and spiritual development. This study aims to analyze the application of psycho-pedagogical approaches in the rehabilitation program of ODGJ implemented by the Social Service of Lebak Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through field observations, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that rehabilitation is carried out through several stages: case identification, initial medical treatment, and follow-up programs in partner rehabilitation institutions. The psycho-pedagogical approach is reflected in emotional counseling, life skills training, and spiritual guidance that strengthens patients’ motivation. The main challenges include the limited number of professionals and persistent social stigma. In conclusion, the psycho-pedagogical approach is proven relevant in restoring the social functions of ODGJ, but stronger budget support, expert capacity-building, and community empowerment are needed to ensure program sustainability.

Abstract

Google Classroom adalah layanan berbasis internet yang disediakan oleh Google sebagai sebuah aplikasi e-learning (pembelajaran dalam jaringan). Penggunaan aplikasi google classroom juga efektif dalam penyampaian materi maupun pengumpulan tugas karema tidaklah menggunakan alat tulis. Setiap guru dan siswa dapat dengan mudah mengupload power point, video maupun soal-soal dengan menggunakan google classroom. Sehingga memotivasi siswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajarnya. Tujuan Penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui Aplikasi Google Classroom baik digunakan sebagai Media Pembelajaran Bagi Siswa. Untuk mengetahui kebermanfaatan Aplikasi Google Classroom sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi TIK mampu meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar bagi siswa.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII semester genap dengan sampel 3 siswa. Dilakukan 4 kali pertemuan Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, tahap penyajian data, tahap penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pemanfaatan aplikasi google classroom sebagai media pembelajaran berpengaruh positif meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Persepsi siswa terhadap aplikasi google classroom sangat beragam. Beberapa dari pendapat siswa dapat dipahami bahwa aplikasi google classroom adalah aplikasi yang sangat praktis dan menarik dengan memiliki berbagai fitur serta dapat dimanfaatkan seperti G-Mail yang dapat digunakan untuk bertukaran pendapat antar siswa terkait materi. G-Drive yang berfungsi sebagai wadah atau tempat untuk penyimpanan hal-hal penting terkait pembelajaran, dan waktu untuk mengingatkan deadline tugas. 2) Motivasi Belajar mereka semakin meningkat karena model pembelajaran yang bervariasi dalam aplikasi google classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the learning difficulties experienced by fifth-grade students at MI NW Reban Tebu in the topic of addition of fractions with unlike denominators. The research method applied is a case study using data collected through observations, interviews, and documentation of students' test scores. The findings reveal that students face significant challenges in understanding the concept of fractions, especially in finding common denominators, operating the principles of fraction mathematics, and solving word problems involving fraction operations. The predominantly lecture-based teaching method is less effective in enhancing students' motivation and understanding. Furthermore, low learning motivation and an unconducive learning environment exacerbate their learning difficulties. Teachers have employed visual media and remedial teaching as strategies to address these challenges; however, there is a need for more innovative and supportive learning approaches. This study recommends implementing interactive and participatory teaching methods, complemented by family involvement, to improve student achievement. The integration of such methods is expected to foster a more supportive learning atmosphere, enhance student engagement, and ultimately improve mathematical proficiency, particularly in fraction operations. This research provides valuable insights for educators and policymakers striving to enhance elementary mathematics education, especially around challenging concepts like fractions with unlike denominators.
