Abstract

Abstract

The exploitation of natural resources (SDA) that ignores ecological carrying capacity has triggered environmental degradation, climate change, and a decline in the quality of life of communities dependent on natural resources. This article aims to examine natural resource management from the perspective of the green economy, a development paradigm that prioritizes resource efficiency, low-carbon growth, and social inclusiveness. This study uses a literature review method by collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing relevant scientific sources, including journal articles, books, and institutional reports, related to the concepts of green economy and natural resource management. The results of the study indicate that the green economy paradigm offers a strategic framework for reconciling economic growth with environmental sustainability through instruments such as economic valuation of natural resources, green investment, environmental regulation, and community participation. However, its implementation in Indonesia still faces obstacles in the form of overlapping regulations, weak institutional coordination, and limited public understanding of the green economy concept. This article concludes that the success of green economy-based natural resource management requires synergy among the government, the private sector, and the community, supported by a regulatory framework that is consistent and oriented toward sustainable development.

Abstract

Contemporary socio-religious dynamics within formal school environments are confronted with the challenges of intolerance, radicalism, and low religious literacy among students. This study aims to analyse in depth the internalization process of prophetic pedagogy in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as a foundation for strengthening students' religious moderation at SMP Negeri 3 Subang. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a case study design and an interpretive paradigm, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies involving the principal, PAI teachers, and students. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, while data validity was enhanced through source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that the internalization of prophetic pedagogy is operationalized through three main pillars: humanization, liberation, and transcendence. The humanization pillar is manifested through dialogic, inclusive, and anti-discriminatory learning, thereby fostering empathy and appreciation for diversity. The liberation pillar is implemented through problem-based learning and the practice of tabayun (verification) to develop students' critical consciousness in countering hoaxes and intolerant ideologies. The transcendence pillar is realized through the habituation of a religious school culture that nurtures spiritual awareness and moral responsibility. These three pillars are integrated into the objectives, materials, methods, and evaluations of PAI learning, supported by a conducive school culture. The study concludes that prophetic pedagogy effectively contributes to shaping students' character to be moderate, tolerant, inclusive, and oriented toward humanitarian and spiritual values. These findings reinforce the position of prophetic pedagogy as a relevant Islamic educational model for strengthening religious moderation in junior high schools.

Abstract

Character education strengthening underpins this study, as its implementation in elementary schools continues to face challenges related to systematic, data-based, and sustainable management. This study aimed to describe the initial implementation of the KARSA Program (Reflective Character, Voice, and Action), analyze early changes in teachers’ practices, school culture, and students’ character, and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in the program implementation. This qualitative study employed a case study design involving 13 elementary schools under the Muhammad Syafei Cluster in Kroya District, Cilacap Regency. The informants included 13 principals, 109 teachers, members of the School Character Team, and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and program monitoring records. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, comprising data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings showed that the KARSA Program developed a school character management system through the establishment of School Character Teams, data-based principal leadership strengthening, In-House Training on Character Management, the development of character standard operating procedures, character portfolios and dashboards, as well as reflection activities and the strengthening of student voice. Early changes were evident in increased teacher reflective practices, the use of character journals, and observations of student behavior. School culture shifted toward a more systematic, collaborative, and data-based approach to character education management. Students demonstrated initial development in responsibility, social awareness, self-reflection, and initiative. Supporting factors included principals’ commitment, an established culture of character habituation, teacher training, the use of character data, and school community collaboration. Obstacles included variations in teachers’ competence in facilitating reflection, limited time, administrative workloads, limited mentoring, and uneven family support.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model on the mathematical problem-solving ability of fifth-grade students at SDN 02 Bengkayang on the topic of the perimeter of flat shapes. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 42 students, namely class VB as the experimental group and class VC as the control group, each comprising 21 students. Data were collected through essay-based story problem tests and observation sheets. The instruments were validated using Aiken's V (V = 0.813) and tested for reliability using the Percentage of Agreement Borich method (PA = 98.25%). Data analysis was conducted using the Shapiro-Wilk test, Levene test, and Independent Sample t-test with SPSS. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class (72.19) was higher than the control class (57.38), with the experimental class improvement (38.76 points) being almost twice as large as the control class (19.67 points). The Independent Sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.035 (sig. < 0.05), leading to the rejection of H₀ and the acceptance of H₁. Observation results indicated that the experimental class achieved a completion rate of 96.3% (very good) and the control class 81.5% (good). It is concluded that the TPS model is effective in improving the mathematical problem-solving ability of fifth-grade students at SDN 02 Bengkayang.

Abstract

Library research that focuses on reasoning, tracing, and analyzing sources of scientific articles. The purpose of this research is to analyze and critique various issues of unequal access, especially in early childhood education (PAUD), by linking human rights and Pancasila as indicators of official scientific sources. The research results show that 3T areas find it very difficult to access education due to limited locations and personel, as well as the strong influence of various factors. 3T areas should be prioritized because of the limited educational locations and teaching staff in those regions. The fundamental rights of children must be fulfilled by parents, and the government should create policies that provide ease to lower-income communities, especially in 3T areas. A very important strategy to implement is to provide social assistance or educational aid to lower-income communities and in 3T areas. Equal distribution of facilities and Infrastructure in educational institutions in underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost regions. Educators, the community, and the government must expand educational assistance programs to all regions and develop inclusive education for children with disabilities and those from underprivileged backgrounds. Realizing every child will have their rights and Pancasila values fulfilled. Realizing justice and expanding all facilities and Infrastructure, of high quality in 3T areas or among vulnerable groups, is an important manifestation for society.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and social media has had a great influence on the lives of Generation Z, including in shaping their mindset, lifestyle, and behavior. One of the challenges that arises is the tendency to live a consumptive life, the desire to follow trends, and low self-control skills due to the influence of the digital environment. In facing these conditions, Christian Religious Education (PAK) educators have an important role in shaping the character of students so that they have a simple attitude and self-control based on Christian values. This discussion aims to explain the role of PAK educators in instilling the value of simplicity and self-mastery in Generation Z through the teaching of God's word, life examples, spiritual coaching, and assistance in facing the challenges of the times. A simple attitude of living is understood as the ability to use resources wisely according to needs, while self-control is the ability to regulate thoughts, feelings, and actions in accordance with God's will. The results of the discussion show that PAK educators have a significant contribution in helping Generation Z develop strong character, are not easily influenced by consumptive culture, and are able to make responsible decisions. Thus, Christian religious education plays an important role in shaping a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent, but also has spiritual, moral, and character maturity in accordance with the teachings of Christ.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the design process, implementation, and impact of the BUBACO Program (Buka-Baca-Cocok) as a character education innovation in Grade I of SD Negeri Sidareja 06. The study was grounded in a dual gap observed in the classroom: the majority of students had not yet mastered basic alphabet recognition, while nearly all participants showed marked reluctance to read aloud in front of peers2014a condition reflecting an intertwined deficit in both foundational literacy and self-confidence. A qualitative approach with a single case study design was employed. Data were collected through participant observation, document analysis of student worksheets and character observation sheets, anecdotal records, and field notes, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The BUBACO Program integrates a four-step interactive flashcard method2014Buka (Open), Baca (Read), Cocok (Match), and Tempel (Attach)2014that simultaneously cultivates literacy and character. Findings reveal consistent and progressive improvements across both domains: letter recognition developed from a low baseline toward near-mastery, while self-confidence transformed dramatically, with most participants eventually volunteering to present independently before their peers. Effectiveness is explained through Bandura2019s social learning theory, Lickona2019s character framework, Dweck2019s growth mindset, and CASEL2019s social-emotional competencies. The novelty lies in three dimensions: conceptually integrating literacy and character within one media design; methodologically documenting the full innovation cycle through a single case study; and contextually demonstrating that meaningful innovation can emerge from technological constraints. The BUBACO Program is a simple, contextual, and replicable model for elementary teachers.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the philosophical values embedded in the carvings of the Tongkonan Traditional House and analyze their potential as learning resources for elementary schools. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing document analysis and semi-structured interviews with Torajan cultural experts selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis involving data reduction, theme categorization, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the carvings Pa' Barre Allo, Pa' Tedong, Pa' Londongan, Pa' Sussuk, and Pa' Don Bolu embody philosophical values of religiosity, gratitude, hard work, responsibility, leadership, mutual cooperation, unity, and tolerance. These values are relevant for integration into various elementary school subjects, including Pancasila Education, Science and Social Studies (IPAS), Religious Education, Indonesian Language, and Visual Arts. Furthermore, the findings indicate that Tongkonan carvings have strong potential as ethnopedagogical learning resources that foster character development, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Therefore, the philosophical values embedded in Tongkonan carvings can be utilized to promote meaningful learning while simultaneously preserving Torajan cultural heritage
