Purpose: This research was conducted to show that there are many dimensions of creativity that can develop in the form of creating new Gender Wayang works. This can be observed through one of Gender Wayang's new works entitled “Tipat Taluh”. Research methods: The research method used is a qualitative research method. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, and document studies. Results and discussion: Departing from in-depth analysis processes, the result was that “Tipat Taluh”'s work is a new musical composition for Gender Wayang where the big idea is based on philosophical thoughts which have implications for the discovery of a new form and method of composition for Gender Wayang. With the concept of balance and simplicity of “Tipat Taluh” (egg-shaped ketupat), Gusti Komin Darta (composer) transformed these concepts into a new work on Gender Wayang. The updates carried out clearly have a tendency towards processing musical patterns as well as a new system of forming intertwining (kotekan). Implications: The balance of aspects of preservation and development of Gender Wayang will have a positive impact if both are in balance, preservation through contestation, while development by fostering the creation of new works on Gender Wayang.

Purpose: This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing competencies in exercising the right to vote amidst various adult age regulations in regional head elections (pemilihan kepala daerah or Pilkada) in Bali. Research methods: The method used in this research is the category/type of normative research. Results and discussion: The problem of competencies in terms of authority to act in Pilkada Bali cannot be resolved simply using this principle. This is due to the emergence of new rules that provide authority to act which is at odds with competency requirements. In several provisions regarding the minimum age limit for the right to carry out legal actions, the authority to act is of course related to competence. Even though every person has rights from birth, they are not necessarily competent to take legal action. Implications: Clear regulations are needed to determine the age limit for a person to be able to carry out all legal actions. If we are based on new laws such as the child protection law, then we must be consistent in regulating a person's adult age, lest there are other regulations that regulate different adult ages.

Purpose: This article aims to analyze the protection of personal data in updating voter data for the Pilkada (regional head election) 2024 in Denpasar City. However, advances in digital technology that support election management present new challenges in terms of personal data security. The 2019 voter data leakage incident experienced by the Indonesian KPU makes the critical need for robust data protection measures in the election process. Research methods: This research employs a normative juridical method with both statute and conceptual approaches, analyzing data protection regulations such as Law No. 27 of 2022 and KPU Regulation No. 7 of 2024. Results and discussion: The findings reveal that the voter data updating process involves complex stages, including data matching and verification (coklit) conducted by 1,941 Voter Data Updating Officers in Denpasar City. Protecting personal data is crucial, as leaks could undermine the integrity and public trust in democracy. Implications: The research recommends improving training and supervision for data updating officers, strengthening data protection regulations, and leveraging technology to secure voter data. KPU and related institutions are advised to focus on data integrity by employing e-coklit applications and secure information systems. These measures are expected to maintain voter privacy and support a fair and transparent democratic process.
