Abstract

The ease of applying for loans has shifted away from the old pattern that required proof of steady income such as a payslip , towards an app- based pattern that reaches anyone , including teenagers and young adults without formal income , through services such as ShopeePinjam , ShopeePayLater , Kredivo , and Akulaku . This study aims to map the financial factors that influence people's decisions to use app- based loans through a structured literature review . The study uses a structured literature review approach with the PRISMA framework , examining ten Scopus and Sinta -indexed scientific manuscripts published between 2021 and 2026 , through four stages : introduction , screening , determining eligibility , and determining selected sources . The results of the review indicate that financial literacy is the most consistent factor influencing these decisions , followed by trust in service providers , household economic conditions , self -control , and risk perception and ease of use , the effects of which vary across studies . The discussion confirms that financial understanding alone is not always enough to prevent debt traps without strong self -control and value awareness , while trust has been shown to be more dominant than mere convenience in forming debt decisions . This study concludes that financial factors are layered and mutually influential , so strengthening financial literacy needs to be accompanied by self - control education and responsible lending policies , especially for the younger generation who are now active users of app - based lending services .

Abstract

Digital transformation in manufacturing changes not only the use of technology but also the way employees interpret work, coordinate tasks, monitor operations, and make decisions. This study aims to analyze employee perceptions and experiences in facing digital transformation at one of Indonesia's state-owned cement manufacturing companies, with emphasis on the use of Artificial Intelligence and digital work systems. This research applies a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews with five informants representing different organizational functions, non-participant observation, and document review. Data analysis was conducted using NVivo 12 Pro through coding, categorization, and thematic interpretation. The findings reveal four major themes: digital technology adoption, changes in work processes, employee digital competence, and organizational culture and adaptation. Employees generally perceive digital systems and AI as useful for increasing efficiency, accuracy, transparency, and speed of decision making. However, implementation also creates challenges related to digital competency gaps, resistance to change, data security, system standardization, and sustainability of knowledge transfer. The study concludes that successful digital transformation requires a balanced integration of technology readiness, human capability, organizational support, and adaptive culture.

Abstract

This study analyzes the ecotourism demand and estimates the economic value of ecosystem services in Taman Hutan Raya Wan Abdul Rachman (Tahura WAR) using the Replacement Cost Method (RCM). The research utilizes multiple linear regression to analyze the effect of visitor income, travel cost, substitution travel cost, travel distance, and tourist attraction on ecotourism demand. The results indicate that visitor income, substitution travel cost, and tourist attraction have a positive and significant effect on ecotourism demand. Conversely, travel cost and travel distance have a negative and significant effect. Furthermore, the total estimated economic value of ecosystem services in Tahura WAR is IDR 60,756,816,107,744.00 per year. This value is dominated by climate regulation services (98.95%), followed by flood mitigation (0.92%), erosion control (0.12%), and carbon sequestration (0.01%).

Abstract

This study analyzes the dynamic relationship between global market volatility (VIX), currency exchange rates against the US Dollar, and stock market indices of ASEAN-5 countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam) in the COVID-19 pandemic period (2020) versus the economic recovery period (2021–2025). Methodology: Using daily data and a separate Vector Autoregression (VAR) approach for each country. Econometric testing includes ADF stationarity, AIC lag determination, VAR stability, Granger causality, IRF, and FEVD. All stationary variables at the first difference, $I(1)$, confirm the specification of the VAR-in-Difference model.Findings: IRF analysis shows that the negative impact of VIX shocks on ASEAN-5 stock indices weakened significantly during the recovery, especially in the Philippines and Thailand, while Vietnam was the most resilient. Granger's causal relationship shifted from a two-way pattern during the pandemic to one-way during recovery, except in Indonesia which has just formed a two-way relationship between the VIX and JCI. The FEVD analysis confirms the increasing dominance of own-shock in the recovery period, except in Thailand where the THB/USD exchange rate dominates 95.62% of the SET index variation. Implications: The ASEAN-5 stock market is increasingly resilient to the spillover of post-pandemic external volatility. This condition reopens opportunities for portfolio diversification across countries due to the divergent market response again.

Abstract

The Aceh provincial economy has long been in a cycle of dependence on central fiscal instruments in the form of the Special Autonomy Fund (Otsus). The gradual reduction in the allocation of these funds requires the region to reorient macro policies to prevent economic stagnation. This study aims to analyze the urgency and formulate tactical strategies for strengthening local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as a new driving force for Aceh's economic independence. Using a qualitative descriptive approach based on systematic literature review , this study examines the causal relationship between fiscal contraction and the resilience of the domestic real sector. The analysis shows that the reduction in central fund transfers has a direct impact on decreasing market liquidity and weakening public purchasing power due to the sensitivity of the regional economy to the Aceh Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBA). As a mitigation measure, local MSMEs need to be positioned as instruments of structural transition. The transformation of superior commodities can be achieved through digital ecosystem integration ( going digital ), standardization and modernization of product quality, and expansion of capital penetration based on sharia financing. This study concludes that collectively strengthening the domestic private sector is an absolute prerequisite for building a resilient, inclusive, and independent economic foundation for Aceh, free from dependence on the government budget.

Abstract

The archival field can no longer be separated from artificial intelligence influences. However academic literature on this relationship remains scattered and rarely forms coherent understanding. This article synthesizes these fragmented studies through a narrative review approach. The Records Continuum Model provides the conceptual lens for analysis. The review examines twelve Indonesian language articles published between 2021 and 2026. Sources were identified through Google Scholar Garuda and university electronic journal repositories. Selected studies were filtered regularly using previously established inclusion and exclusion criteria. Findings show AI has permeated all four dimensions of the RCM. Creation involves automatic text recognition and increasingly automated metadata extraction processes. Capture increasingly relies on intelligent classification and indexing across archival workflows. Organization incorporates knowledge management practices alongside emerging cyber risk mitigation strategies. Pluralization expands archival access through increasingly intelligent and responsive information services. A consistent pattern emerges across all four dimensions: each efficiency gain AI offers brings a corresponding challenge, particularly around cybersecurity and organizational readiness. Existing research addresses the capture dimension most frequently, while pluralization and record authenticity verification remain comparatively underexplored. This article maps an initial foundation for technology-based archival policy and for strengthening higher education curricula in the archival field. Future research should consider a systematic literature review incorporating international literature to produce a more comprehensive picture.

Abstract

Effective management is an essential factor in achieving organizational objectives and improving athletic performance. Sports organizations require administrators with adequate competencies in planning, organizing, staffing, leading, controlling, financial management, event management, athlete development, and delegation management. This study aims to examine and strengthen the managerial capacity of sports branch administrators in Southeast Aceh through a structured capacity-building program. The program was conducted in collaboration with the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) of Southeast Aceh and involved administrators from sports organizations in the region. The capacity-building activities were implemented through a three-day seminar, training, and workshop covering nine topics: Olympism as the philosophy of sports organizations, competitive sports development, sports event management, talent identification, delegation management, anti-doping, leadership management, financial management, and practical group presentations. The activities were designed to enhance participants’ theoretical understanding and practical skills in managing sports organizations based on the fundamental management functions of planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling. The program also emphasized collaboration, accountability, communication, innovation, and effective utilization of organizational resources. The results indicate that structured training and capacity-building activities can contribute to improving the knowledge and managerial competencies of sports administrators. Strengthened managerial capacity is expected to support more professional organizational operations, improve athlete development, enhance sports event management, and contribute to better athletic achievements. Continuous education, training, and workshops are therefore recommended to ensure sustainable improvement in the management capacity of sports organizations in Southeast Aceh.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of working shifts for more than three years on work motivation, with burnout as a mediating variable and salary/income and difficulty in finding alternative employment as contextual variables. Using a quantitative explanatory design, data were collected through a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire administered to employees who had worked under a shift system for more than three years and were selected through purposive sampling. SEM-PLS analysis indicated that all indicators met the criteria for validity and reliability. The structural model showed moderate explanatory power for work motivation and weak explanatory power for burnout. Long-term shift work did not significantly affect either work motivation or burnout, whereas burnout had a significant negative effect on work motivation. In addition, salary/income and difficulty in finding alternative employment did not moderate the relationship. These findings suggest that lower work motivation among shift workers is better explained by burnout than by the duration of shift work itself, highlighting the importance of burnout prevention and psychological well-being interventions for shift workers.
