Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of public elementary schools in the city of Padang. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were the head of the madrasa, students, teachers and parents. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display, verification and conclusions. The results of this study explain that program planning has supported madrasah activities, teacher subjects that are relevant to their educational background, develop curricula effectively and efficiently, students participate in talent, competence, and motivational activities, school finances are budgeted every year where all madrasah components authorized to control the use of finances, use madrasa facilities and infrastructure that support the teaching and learning process, parental participation in madrasas.

Abstract

This article pertains to the Head of Madrasah as a Motivator at MA Nurul Muhajirin Sukatani, with the aim of examining the role of the madrasah head as a motivator. This research employs a qualitative method and a descriptive approach. Data is collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Subsequently, the data is analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. To ensure data validity, data triangulation is utilized, which includes source triangulation, method triangulation, and technique triangulation. Based on the results and discussions outlined above, it can be concluded that the madrasah head at MA Nurul Muhajirin Sukatani-Tanjung Lago-Banyuasin-South Sumatra has effectively fulfilled their role and responsibilities as a leader. As a leader, they have provided motivation to all stakeholders involved in education, especially educators. There are four key activities carried out by the madrasah head in their role as a motivator, namely articulating an inspiring vision and mission for the madrasah, providing support to educators and the education sector, promoting collaboration among various elements within the madrasah, and implementing innovations in the field of education to ensure that education remains relevant, effective, and beneficial for students. Innovations in education enable the madrasah to overcome existing challenges and keep up with positive developments in the field of education.

Abstract

3 Kota Pariaman. This can be seen in the process of arranging books which is not good, resulting in some books being placed on the wrong shelves according to their type and some books not being arranged at all. This is due to the lack of bookshelves available in the MTsN 3 Kota Pariaman library. Apart from that, library collections and facilities are considered less comfortable, and lending services are still manual. The aim of this research is to determine the elements of library management. Qualitative data collection methods such as observation, interviews and documentation were used in the research. Information checking strategies used in this exploration include reducing information, displaying information, and determining/checking achievements Research shows that school library management is divided into five main parts, namely collection management, inventory, collection maintenance, library equipment, and administration. Firstly, collection management is done by buying your own books and accepting gifts or donations from students and bookstores. The second activity carried out in the inventory is the study of library materials, then the collection of the variety is completed by collecting them into areas of study. After that, stamps on the front and back pages of the book provide an immediate overview of the library materials. When recording library materials, a stock book is provided. Third, in maintaining library collections, clean books from dust, repair existing damage, and organize book shelves. Fourth, library equipment is still lacking, such as the absence of reading tables and computer tables, bookshelves, and fifth, library administration includes borrowing, returning books and recording visitors.

Abstract

The aim of new student recruitment management is to obtain superior students in accordance with the school's needs in educating and developing students. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. This research was carried out scientifically in research. This research is intended to look directly into the field regarding activities carried out scientifically. The source of information obtained comes from the actions of people who are observed or interviewed. Then the information is taken and collected one by one using language that is easy to understand and logistical. The guidelines given to new students are quite good. This is proven by the appreciation from the school principal to the committee and as the head of the madrasah he always monitors the committee's performance. The aim is to find out whether all the committees formed have written it well or not. There is a good recruitment management strategy by the committee, this can be seen from the use of digital platforms used by the committee to attract new students.

Abstract

School principals are accountable for ensuring the success of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project, a program that strives to develop students’ comprehension, appreciation, and application of Pancasila ideals. This essay aims to provide elementary school administrators with a management plan that will enable them to successfully implement the project of raising the profile of Pancasila students. Research in libraries is the method employed. The research results show that the Project for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile is one part of the independent curriculum with noble goals that require management strategies from the school principal to implement it to succeed. Management strategies that a school principal can implement to make the project of strengthening the profile of Pancasila students a success: 1) Formation of a Work Team; 2) Training and Development; 3) Parental and Community Involvement; and 4) Continuous Monitoring and Evaluation.

Abstract

Najmi Diyana Lathifah, with thesis title: "Teachers' Perceptions About the Competency of Administrative Staff at MTsN 2 Solok". In the Islamic education management department, Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty, Imam Bonjol State Islamic University, Padang. This research is motivated by the problem of school administration staff not respecting other people's opinions, giving rise to unfavorable assumptions related to employee performance, there are still many files that have piled up and are not neatly arranged, the educational qualifications and technical competence of school administration staff are still not in accordance with Permendiknas Number 24 of 2008, and there is no information regarding teacher perceptions regarding the performance of school administration at MTsN 2 Solok. The aim of this research is to measure the personality competence, social competence, technical competence of MTsN 2 Solok educational staff. To measure teachers' perceptions of the performance of administrative staff at MTsN 2 Solok. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach in the form of survey research. The population in this study were all MTsN 2 Solok teachers, totaling 66 teachers. With a questionnaire instrument that has 70 questions. Reliability test uses Cronbach's Alpha formula. The results of the research show that the teacher's perception of the performance of school administration staff at MTsN 2 Solok, personality competency is in the quite good category at 53.03% (35 teachers). Teachers' perceptions regarding the performance of school administration staff at MTsN 2 Solok based on social competence are in the good category as many as 48 teachers or 72.73%. Teachers' perceptions regarding the performance of MTsN 2 Solok school administration staff based on technical competency are in the good category as many as 31 teachers or 46.96%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the headmaster ability to improve the performance of Islamic Education Teachers in Pedagogic competence, Professional Competence, and the unsupporting faktors and supporting of the headmaster to improve the performance of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Pedagogic Competence and Professional Competence. This research is descriptive fiel research. That is giving a detailed description of the problems that are in accordance with the facts. The resources are the headmaster, vice headmaster of the curriculum section, vice headmaster of student affairs and 3 Islamic Religious Education teachers in Junior High School 5 Pariaman, east Subdistrict of Pariaman City. In the data collection the author conducted observations, interviews, and documentation studies related to the research. The findings of the study showed that the principal improved the performance of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Pedagogic Competence in terms of understanding the teacher's insight into the foundation and philosophy of education, the teacher understood the potential and diversity of students, teachers were able to develop curriculum, teachers were able to develop learning plans and strategies, teachers were able to carry out learning which educates with a dealogical and interactive atmosphere, the teacher is able to evaluate learning outcomes, teachers are able to develop the talents and interests of students through curricular activities and extra curricular activities are enhanced through upgrading, Subject Teacher Training, educational training and workshops. Then every semester the principal conducts a Teacher Performance Assessment. Principals improve the performance of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Professional Competency in terms of Planning learning systems, implementing learning systems, evaluating learning systems and developing improved learning systems through teacher professionalism training, workshops, seminars and Subject Teacher Consultations.

Abstract

An integrative curriculum combines several subjects into one unit. This curriculum eliminates subject boundaries. The units are united by a common theme with interrelated material content. This research is a literature study using the systematic literature review (SLR) method which consists of 6 stages, namely planning, literature search, criteria assessment (inclusion and exclusion), quality assessment, data collection and data analysis. This research aims to examine the Model and Implementation of Integrative Curriculum in Education Units. In general, the integrative curriculum is a model for combining basic knowledge with learning experiences that suit students' future needs. Implementation of an integrative-holistic curriculum is carried out in three forms. First, with the package system. Second, with a system that is integrated with general subjects as a basis for value in scientific development. And third, in the form of extra-curricular activities and hidden curriculum in the form of habituation. Curriculum evaluation is carried out by reviewing curriculum implementation in the form of learning evaluation.

Abstract

This research is related to the implementation of the independent curriculum at MAN 2 Palembang. The study explores the process of implementing the independent curriculum in the madrasah. The research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques involve data collection, data presentation, verification, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results and discussion, the implementation has been carried out in accordance with the regulations set by the government. In the implementation of this curriculum, several activities have been conducted, including providing an understanding of the concept of the independent curriculum to all relevant parties, organizing training for educators, developing teaching materials according to the standards of the independent curriculum, fostering collaboration and cooperation in the field of education, and utilizing technology in the teaching process. With the implementation of the independent curriculum, the classroom becomes more dynamic and responsive, meeting the individual needs of students and the requirements of the madrasah.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems related to library management at MTsN 3 Kota Pariaman which is still not optimal. This can be seen from the process of arranging the books not going well, so that there are several books that are not placed on the shelves according to the type of book and there are still books that are not arranged on the bookshelves, this happens because of the lack of space for bookshelves in the MTsN 3 library Pariaman City. Not only is the book collection lacking, the library facilities at MTsN 3 Kota Pariaman are not yet comfortable, and even the lending service is still manual. The aim of this research is to find out the aspects of library management. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data display (data presentation), conclusion drawing/verification (drawing conclusions). Research Results: Aspects of Library Management which are divided into five indicators, namely management of library material collections, inventory, maintenance of library collections, school library equipment and school library administration. First, management of library material collections, managers store collections of library materials using only two methods by purchasing it yourself from the shop with the funds provided, secondly with a gift/donation from class IX students who want to graduate in the form of one novel per student and also a donation from the book shop in the form of an Al-Qur'an. The second inventory activity carried out in the inventory is the examination of library materials, then grouping of collections is carried out by grouping them into fields of study. Then the tasting of library materials is directly provided in the form of stamps on the front and back pages of the book, in recording library materials a book inventory is provided. Third, in maintaining the library collection, cleaning books from dust is carried out every day, repairing damage to books by collecting library materials, arranging books on shelves by arranging books according to class and by subject. The four school library equipment does not have a reading table, there are not enough bookshelves, and there is no computer desk. The five lilibrary administrations record visitors, borrow and return books.
