Abstract

Teachers play a crucial role in facilitating a high-quality learning experience for their students by putting learning into practice. For this situation, educators bear a huge obligation in giving a conversation space to understudies to turn out to be more mindful of the improvement of information. This study's goal is to ascertain whether the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model influences the activeness of IPAS learning. A semi exploratory trial plan with a group post-test just plan was utilized for the examination. The investigating technique utilized was a drenched model. The research study used two sample groups: a control group of 22 Class IV A students and an experimental group of 21 Class IV B students. This study gathered data through the use of a questionnaire. The Pearson item second technique was utilized to evaluate the information's legitimacy. Additionally, the Cronbach's Alpha equation was used to evaluate the information's dependability. In the normality test, the Liliefors formula was used and the data was normally distributed, the control class had an importance worth of 0.083, while the exploratory class had an importance worth of 0.102. With an importance level of 0.850 ˂ 0.05, the homogeneity test utilizing the Fisher recipe shows that the information come from a similar populace. The hypothesis test's calculation gave a two-tailed significance level of 0.045. The investigation discovered that 4th grade understudies at SDN Jatiwaringin II Bekasi are more participated in their learning of IPAS subjects while utilizing the TGT learning model.

Abstract

Student Worksheets (LKPD) are rarely used in learning, especially in poetry appreciation learning. This is necessary for the development of the LKPD so that it complies with the requirements for preparing the LKPD and integrating the appreciation model into the LKPD. The aim of the research is to present the results of the needs analysis for LKPD based on the appreciation model in poetry learning. The approach chosen in research is qualitative with data collection methods through passive observation, structured interviews, and document content analysis. The research was conducted in 3 elementary schools in Tasikmalaya City, participants were taken from class IV students and teachers. The results of the research found that: (1) learning has not yet led to the stage of appreciating poetry where students only focus on theory, writing and reading poetry; (2) learning has not used the literary appreciation model; and (3) only 1 out of 3 elementary schools uses LKPD in poetry appreciation learning and has not integrated the appreciation model into LKPD. The results of the research that have been presented will have an impact on the poetry appreciation learning process being less than optimal, therefore it is necessary to develop LKPD based on the appreciation model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh keadaan kelas yang masih dilakukan secara konvensional yang mana guru menggunakan metode ceramah sehingga kondisi kelas kurang aktif pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung yang menyebabkan kurangnya numerasi peserta didik. Dari permasalahan diatas, peneliti berinisiatif untuk mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran berbasis Educandy Match-Up untuk meningkatkan numerasi peserta didik. Keunggulan yang bisa didapatkan dari pengembangan media interaktif ini yaitu menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih aktif sehingga memotivasi peserta didik untuk semangat dalam belajar khususnya pada mata pelajaran Mat\ematika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah terdapatnya media interaktif berbasis Educandy Match-Up yang layak dengan kriteria valid dan efektif dalam meningkatkan numerasi untuk peserta didik kelas IV. Penelitian ini menggunakan ADDIE yang merupakan suatu model yang didalamnya mempresentasikan tahapan-tahapan secara sistematis. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak tujuh puluh satu peserta didik kelas empat dari SDN Ciracas 06 dan SDN Cinangka 05. Kuesioner dan nilai post-test dari kelas kontrol dan eksperimen digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media interaktif berbasis Educandy Match-Up valid dengan persentase sebesar 90,48% diperoleh dari ahli materi dan 95,83% diperoleh dari ahli media, hasil respon peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran memperoleh persentase sebesar 82,78%, dan hasil post test pada kelas kontrol mendapatkan skor persentase sebesar 75,45% dan pada kelas ekperimen mendapatkan skor persentase sebesar 81,48%. Pengembangan media interaktif berbasis Educandy Match-Up ini dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan numerasi peserta didik kelas IV pada materi pecahan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak penggunaan media audiovisual (video) terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan kewarganegaraan siswa. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN Kelapa Dua Wetan 02 Ciracas pada semester kedua tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Dengan menggunakan metodologi quasi eksperimen, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Media audiovisual sendiri dijadikan sebagai variabel bebas (x), sedangkan hasil pendidikan kewarganegaraan dijadikan sebagai variabel terikat (y). Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 3 yang mencakup kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Pendekatan sampel yang dikenal sebagai purposive sampling digunakan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan pendekatan tes dan dokumentasi. Lembar tes berfungsi sebagai alat penelitian. Metode analisis data meliputi statistik deskriptif dan inferensial, yang meliputi uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis, dan normalitas. Sig = 0,00 dan t = 5,277 merupakan hasil uji t independen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (2) kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media audio visual (video pembelajaran) berjalan lancar dan (3) penggunaan media audio visual berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar PKn.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh siswa yang cenderung mudah jenuh dalam belajar dan tidak menaruh perhatian kepada materi yang sedang diajarkan. Hal tersebut terjadi karena kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran yang terbilang kurang mumpuni. Guru lebih banyak menggunakan media pembelajaran konvensional dan tidak memanfaatkan perkembangan digital. Dengan demikian, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kebutuhan, merancang, mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital, khususnya Pop-up Book Digital dengan melakukan uji kelayakan yang dievaluasi oleh para ahli, meningkatan pemahaman siswa dan mengetahui umpan balik dari pengguna. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan menerapkan prosedur ADDIE yang memiliki lima tahapan, yaitu analisis, desian, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, evaluasi kelayakan media dilakukan oleh tiga ahli, yakni ahli materi memberikan skor sebesar 94%, ahli media memberikan skor sebesar 94% dan ahli praktisi memberikan nilai sebesar 93%. Uji coba produk ini dilakukan di SDN Periuk 1 Tangerang dengan melakukan tiga kali pertemuan, yaitu pretest, treatment dan posttest. Berdasarkan hasil tes pemahaman tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman siswa dengan menggunakan media Pop-up Book Digital dalam pembelajaran. Media Pop-up Book Digital mendapatkan tanggapan positif dari siswa, yakni dengan memperoleh sekor sebesar 86,4% dengan kategori sangat baik melalui lembar angket tanggapan siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the homeroom teacher's speech in interacting with students at SMAS Angkasa Maros. This research is a type of qualitative research which is analyzed descriptively. The data in this research are oral speech that has been transcribed in the form of words, phrases, sentences or clauses that contain interpersonal meaning in the speech of the class teacher and class XII students at SMAS Angkasa Maros. The data sources in this research were the homeroom teacher and students of class XII IPS 2 and XII MIPA 4 at SMAS Angkasa Maros. The data collection technique in this research was carried out using recording techniques and note-taking techniques. The results of this research show that the type of MOOD that is more dominantly used in the WKP context addresses students who like to be alone in class and the WKP context addresses students whose devices are confiscated, namely the declarative indicative and the interrogative indicative. Meanwhile, the WKL context addresses students whose devices are confiscated during exams and the WKL context addresses students whose hair is shaved using the MOOD imperative type. From the results of this research new findings were found, with the theory of Functional Linguistic Systems (SLF) juxtaposed with the communication theory of Dr. Stephen R, it was found that students' openness to the homeroom teacher regarding the problems they were experiencing was carried out using two communication techniques, namely the perception check technique and the clarifying question technique. This technique is used by both homeroom teachers, both WKP and WKL, which can be seen in the speech function of questions and statements. The responses given by students predominantly use positive responses with the speech function of answer and acknowledgment. Meanwhile, the realization of speech functions in the form of non-typical MOOD choices is more common in WKP speech, while WKL shows the characteristics of typical sentences.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the feasibility and student responses to the Legenda Gunung Pinang comic media in an effort to improve the cultural literacy of phase B students at SDN Pasir Gadung. The study used the Research and Development method with the ADDIE model. Quantitative data came from the results of validation by cultural experts, media experts, and elementary education experts, as well as student response questionnaires. Qualitative data were obtained from notes, suggestions, and comments from validators and students. The research instruments included interview guidelines, observations, and questionnaires. The results of the study showed: 1) The media validated by cultural experts was very feasible with a percentage score of 97%; 2) The media validated by media experts was very feasible with a percentage score of 94.73%; 3) The media validated by elementary education experts was very feasible with a percentage score of 87.5%; 4) The response of students to the Legenda Gunung Pinang comic media was very good with a percentage score of 94%. Therefore, the Legenda Gunung Pinang comic media is very feasible to be used in the learning process to improve the cultural literacy of phase B students.

Abstract

The presence of social media, especially Instagram, has become a crucial stage in efforts for promotion and engagement in educational institutions like SMA Cita Hati School Surabaya. The aim of this research is to investigate and enhance the quality of content posted on the school's Instagram account to achieve higher user engagement. The research method employed is an analysis with a qualitative approach. While content analysis has been conducted to understand trends and audience preferences, a participatory approach involves school stakeholders in designing strategies aligned with the values and goals of the educational institution. The research findings indicate that the Instagram account of SMA Cita Hati School Surabaya significantly enhanced interaction with its followers by improving the quality of visual and narrative content through well-planned engagement strategies. Based on information gathered and interviews with Instagram users, it was found that content focusing on school activities, student achievements, and special moments within the school community garnered more attention and engagement from followers. The practical impact of this research is to provide specific guidelines for school social media managers to optimize the use of Instagram as an effective communication tool. By understanding user preferences and implementing relevant strategies, schools can expand their communication reach, enhance their public image, and strengthen relationships within the school community. This study has shown positive results, the increase of the followers, engagements and reach numbers.

Abstract

Students' lack of conceptual understanding of fraction content is the driving force behind this research, which seeks to address this issue through instruction that can improve students' conceptual understanding. One of them is the use of magic board props combined with a realistic mathematical approach. With the use of realistic mathematical procedures including magic board props, this study sought to ascertain the extent to which students understand multiplication and division of fractions, as well as provide an explanation for this progress. Using nonequivalent control group research and quantitative research techniques, this research uses a quasi-experimental design. Participants in this research were fifth grade students at SDN Cimalaka III and SDN Citimun II. This assessment tool measures the subject's ability to grasp abstract ideas. On average, students' concept understanding skills improved by 72.21% and 66.76% respectively when taught mathematics using realistic mathematics methods compared to traditional approaches, according to the research. Fifth grade students' conceptual understanding can be improved with the use of teaching aids and realistic mathematics learning approaches. On average, the experimental group had an N-Gain of 0.5674, while the control group had 0.4184. This shows that compared with the control group, students in the experimental group gained 0.149 greater conceptual knowledge. Simply put, experimental group students who were taught mathematical concepts using a realistic approach using a magic board had a better understanding of the material than the control group who were taught using a more traditional approach.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of class VI students at UPT SDN Sentul 1 and the lack of use of learning media that linked it to local culture. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of ethnomathematics learning on the mathematics learning outcomes of sixth grade elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research method used is quasi-experimental research. This research design uses a 2x2 factorial design. It can be concluded that the learning outcomes of sixth grade elementary school students in the material on integer arithmetic operations can be improved through ethnomathematics learning using linguistic media. This is proven by the results of the t test with Sig. 0.000 which means that Sig ≤ 0.05. Thus Ho is rejected, then µ1 ≠ µ2, that is, there is a difference in the mean scores using ethnomathematics learning and conventional learning. Other researchers should apply ethnomathematics-based mathematics learning and other innovative learning is needed, such as linking learning with traditional games, local cultural heritage and other local wisdom. So that students can not only improve their learning outcomes in mathematics subjects, but also gain new knowledge about local wisdom around them.
