Abstract

Penggunaan TIK dalam proses belajar mengajar tidak hanya menjadi pelengkap, tetapi menjadi bagian integral dari metode pengajaran yang modern. Keterbatasan dalam pemanfaatan TIK sering kali menjadi penghambat bagi para guru, terutama di daerah-daerah yang akses terhadap pelatihan teknologi masih terbatas. Guru di SMP Negeri 2 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo, hampir sebagian besar belum sepenuhnya menguasai TIK dalam proses belajar mengajar, sehingga kurang optimal dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk memberikan pembekalan kepada guru-guru agar menguasai dan menggunakan TIK sebagai sarana pembelajaran yang efektif dan interaktif dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran.  Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari tiga tahapan utama, yakni: sosialisasi/penyajian materi TIK; demonstrasi dan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi pembelajaran; serta praktik pembuatan media pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan TIK. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan terhadap  pemahaman guru terkait integrasi TIK dalam pembelajaran, kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital, serta motivasi guru dalam memanfaatkan TIK dalam proses mengajar.  Selain itu, kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan rasa percaya diri guru dalam menggunakan teknologi, sehingga mereka merasa lebih siap untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi pembelajaran ke dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar, baik secara daring maupun luring.

Abstract

Upaya pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi visual dan pemahaman sinematografi di kalangan generasi muda di Kota Gorontalo dengan fokus pada praktik bedah film. Berlatarbelakang paparan konten visual yang masif di era digital dan kurangnya kemampuan analisis kritis terhadap konten tersebut, bedah film ini membekali peserta dengan pengetahuan tentang sinematografi sebagai fondasi visual cerita. Metodologi pelaksanaan pengabdian melibatkan identifikasi prinsip-prinsip belajar aktif dan relevansi langsung, dimulai dengan tahap pra-pelaksanaan untuk menentukan tujuan dan sasaran, yaitu meningkatkan literasi film dan melatih analisis kritis bagi generasi muda yang tertarik pada sinematografi. Film yang dibedah adalah short movie berjudul "‘Panggoba’" karena film ini memiliki potensi memicu generasi muda untuk berdiskusi tentang budaya Gorontalo. Kegiatan bedah film ini dilaksanakan pada 9 Mei 2025, di Justmie X Justcoffee Gorontalo. Materi yang disampaikan mencakup pengenalan budaya ‘Panggoba’ dan bagaimana mengemas budaya tersebut di dalam sebuah film pendek. Adapun feedback peserta menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman tentang budaya ‘Panggoba’ dan sinematografi, serta minat untuk praktik pembuatan film secara langsung, mengindikasikan dampak positif dan berkelanjutan dari kegiatan ini. Hasilnya adalah 68 generasi muda yang terlibat dalam program ini memiliki peningkatan pengetahuan dan minat di bidang sinematografi. Program ini direkomendasikan untuk berlanjut dengan pelatihan praktis, mendorong generasi muda untuk menghasilkan film bertema budaya Gorontalo.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku UMKM kuliner Ilabulo dalam memanfaatkan platform pemasaran digital untuk memperluas pasar dan meningkatkan pendapatan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui rangkaian pelatihan dan pendampingan teknis termasuk pelatihan media sosial dan pendampingan penataan kemasan produk. Peserta pengabdian terdiri atas puluhan pelaku UMKM Ilabulo di Kabupaten Gorontalo. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi bisnis memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan penjualan dan perluasan pasar. Pelaku usaha yang menerapkan pemasaran digital mengalami pertumbuhan signifikan dalam omzet dan jangkauan konsumen. Pemerintah daerah memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung proses ini melalui pelatihan, fasilitasi, dan kolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak. Meski demikian, kendala seperti rendahnya literasi digital dan akses internet masih menjadi hambatan yang perlu diatasi. Strategi berkelanjutan diperlukan untuk memastikan UMKM tradisional mampu bertahan dan bersaing di era digital. Integrasi teknologi menjadi kunci dalam memajukan usaha kuliner lokal di tengah perubahan pasar yang dinamis.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to strengthen the role of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDesa) in enhancing food security based on local potential in Panggulo Village, Botupingge District, Bone Bolango Regency. Key challenges included the inactive status of BUMDesa, limited public awareness of food security, lack of local potential mapping, and the absence of digital platforms for product promotion. The program was implemented through a participatory, asset-based approach in five stages: problem identification, potential mapping, training, digitalization, and mentoring. Results showed significant improvements in BUMDesa management capacity, the development of two flagship local food products, the launch of a village website, and increased community awareness. The program demonstrated that integrating institutional strengthening, community empowerment, and digitalization is an effective strategy for developing sustainable village-level food security systems.

Abstract

Digital economy penetration in rural areas remains limited despite diverse local economic potential. This community service program developed a Virtual Reality (VR) rental business as an innovative economic empowerment model in Pilolalenga Village, Gorontalo Regency. Using participatory action research approach over 8 weeks (August-September 2025), the program involved 60 villagers as pilot members. Activities included business feasibility assessment, infrastructure setup, technical orientation, business management mentoring, and continuous monitoring. Results showed VR rental business feasibility with 89.3% members achieving operational independence. Economic indicators revealed self-reported income increase of 27.3% (p=0.003) and market expansion of 234%. Learning effectiveness was demonstrated through large effect sizes (Cohen's d 1.29) across all modules. The business model projected break-even point within 12 weeks with monthly net profit of Rp 15.6 million. Twelve spontaneous cross-sector collaborative initiatives emerged organically. BUMDesa committed to continue operations independently with expansion target of 150 members within 12 months. This model demonstrates potential for replication in villages with adequate infrastructure.

Abstract

Students now frequently use smartphones to access the Internet, demonstrating their proficiency with technology. Students who collaborate in groups to develop innovative goods and Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart home systems benefit from the project-based learning method in the classroom. Students are trained and mentored to create new works, such as scientific publications in the form of scholarly articles and prototypes with remote control of electrical gadgets in residential houses over the internet. For students with a vocational education background, such as those attending Vocational High Schools (SMK), technology-based instruction is typically pertinent. However, SMAIT Al Auliya Balikpapan students who have a general education background and are used to science instruction like the National Science Olympiad (OSN) received IoT information technology training in this community service project. As a result, the training offered to SMAIT Al Auliya Balikpapan students is unique and highly engaging. Using the waterfall technique through phases of problem-solving and communication with partners, creating learning guide modules as instructional resources, putting training and student mentoring into practice, and evaluating. One of the outcomes is a house prototype with a smart home system that allows users to remotely manage doors, fans, and lights via an Android smartphone with an internet connection. With real-time smartphone monitoring of the room temperature, humidity, door access, and the on/off status of household electronics, the student-designed system improves home security. It is advised that Android devices be always connected to a reliable internet network in order to preserve the monitoring system's continuity and guarantee that it operates in real-time without any delays. Additionally, as a result of the creative product design and development, students have authored a scientific study on the subject of Android-based smart homes that will be published. Students should have access to trainings or extracurricular activities pertaining to emerging technologies in an attempt to enhance their knowledge, abilities, mastery, and technological updating.

Abstract

The Thematic Community Service Program (KKN) in Moutong Village, Tilongkabila District, Bone Bolango Regency, focused on utilizing home gardens to promote a healthy environment and improve community nutrition. The activity aimed to enhance local food self-sufficiency through counseling, training on fast-harvest crop cultivation, organic compost production, and family nutrition education. The implementation involved field observations, hands-on practice, group discussions, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test. Through pre- and post-tests.The program was carried out from August to November 2025. The results showed an increase in community knowledge and skills in managing home gardens, marked by the establishment of model mini gardens and a “Healthy Yard Community.” In addition to improving household food availability, the activity also contributed to stunting prevention through parenting and balanced nutrition education. The success of this program was supported by the active participation of the community, village government, and KKN students. Thus, home garden utilization has proven to be an effective strategy for empowering communities toward healthy, independent, and sustainable food systems.

Abstract

This community service program was carried out in Duano Village, Suwawa Tengah Sub-district, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province, aiming to optimize local resource potential, strengthen community digital literacy, and develop village place branding strategies. The implementation method used a participatory approach consisting of preparation, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up stages. Activities included mapping local resources, providing digital literacy training for MSMEs, conducting workshops on product innovation based on local resources, and developing a digital platform in the form of a village website. The results showed a significant improvement in community knowledge and skills in utilizing digital technology, particularly in MSME product marketing. The innovation of “Bika Singkong Duano” was successfully developed as a form of downstream processing of local agricultural products, while the village website became an effective digital promotion medium to introduce Duano Village’s superior products, culture, and tourism potential. This program not only had a positive impact on improving human resource quality and MSME competitiveness but also strengthened the village’s identity in the digital era. As a follow-up, continuous mentoring and proper management of the digital platform are needed to ensure the sustainability of these achievements and their contribution to the community’s economic and social development.

Abstract

Schools should be a place of learning in literacy and numeracy for students in gaining knowledge. However, it is not unlikely that schools are also less effective places for students to learn because of the weak activities of educators' abilities in literacy and numeracy in schools. The implementation of community service activities at MI Raden Rahmat Prambon Sidoarjo is based on the low reading, writing and arithmetic skills of students. Therefore, what is needed from this community service activity is to be able to accompany educational units and parents in efforts to minimize student literacy and numeracy that occurs in schools, namely the low ability to read, write and count through android-based games, and traditional games based on local wisdom as an effort to preserve Indonesian culture. With the assistance of strengthening literacy and numeracy in schools, it is also hoped that it can create an effective and efficient learning atmosphere so that learning objectives will run smoothly to create a generation of intelligent and noble nation.

Abstract

This community service program in Lombongo Village aimed to optimize local potential by integrating agriculture, tourism, and digital technology to strengthen socio-economic resilience. The participatory implementation combined needs mapping, integrated outreach, hands-on training (bed gardening, composting, product downstreaming), basic tourism facility revitalization (installation of site maps and minor repairs), and digital literacy strengthening through social media accounts and a village website. Outcomes showed previously unused homegardens converted into productive bed systems, the launch of value‑added local products (Tortila Chips, Banana Meltzz, Candlenut Lemongrass), installation of visitor maps, and the establishment of a village website for information and promotion. Simple evaluation (pre/post tests and practice observation) indicated improvements in knowledge and partial adoption of sustainable farming practices and digital marketing by micro-entrepreneurs. In conclusion, the integrated interventions enhanced local capacities and created new economic opportunities, while continued mentoring, stronger downstreaming processes, and maintenance of tourism infrastructure are required to ensure lasting impact.
