Abstract

Abstract. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a highly contagious disease caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) virus. The increase in the number of COVID-19 cases is progressing quickly and has been spread between countries. As of October 14, 2020, there are 213 countries/regions around the world that have reported Covid-19 with a total of 38,002,699 confirmed cases of which 1,083,234 died. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mortality factors and mortality in COVID-19 patients to predict the patient's prognosis. This research method is a systematic review through a literature review on mortality factors in COVID-19 patients Literature searches were accessed through internet searches using the Pubmed database based on the preferred reporting items for systemic review and meta-analysis (PRISMA). A systematic search was carried out on 18 October - 20 October 2020 with the keywords “COVID-19” AND “Death” OR “Decease” AND “Factor Associated”. There were 8 literature selected that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Based on the findings of the eight journals, mortality is old age, male, has a clinical condition of hypertension, obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, lung disease, neurological disease, lymphophenia laboratory test results, hyperlactate dehydrogenase, increased procalcitonin, increased neutrophils, increased C-reactive protein, and increased D-dimer. All literature reported that a p value <0.05 was obtained from the analysis of the relationship between mortality factors and cases of death in COVID-19 patients. There is a significant relationship between mortality factors and the death of COVID-19 patients, where the mortality factors are elderly, male, have a clinical condition of hypertension, obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, lung disease, neurological disease, lymphophenia laboratory test results, hyperlactate dehydrogenase, increase in procalcitonin, increase in neutrophils, increase in C-reactive protein, and increase in D-dimers in which the prognosis of patients who have mortality factors tends to be worse. Keywords: Mortality, Coronavirus, COVID-19

Abstract

Along with the transition from the New order era to the Reformation era, the central government is committed to providing regional autonomy to district and city governments to manage regional potential, including the potential for education. After the central government gave regional autonomy to district and city governments, the Medan City Government gave autonomy to the head of the Early Childhood Education unit to manage the potential of Early Childhood Education to the maximum, but in reality the management was not optimal. The purpose of this study is to find a model of organizational commitment and to determine the influence between research variables. This research method is a quantitative research method using a survey approach. The study population was 750 people and the sample of this study was 238 people with an error rate of 5%. Sampling is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique based on the provisions of the sample from the population developed by Isaac and Michael. The data collection technique for this research is a questionnaire instrument using a Likert scale and a test instrument using Merriam Webster's New Collegiate Distionary technique. The results of the descriptive analysis show that 235 or 98.74% of the Educational Administrative Knowledge variable tends to be in the low category, while the other variables tend to be in the high category. Furthermore, the results of the calculation of the total direct effect show that the Educational Administrative Knowledge variable on the Organizational Commitment variable is 0.2642 or 26.42%, while the total effect of other variables is low. Furthermore, the direct and indirect proportional, sporious and unanalyzed effect caused by these three variables is 66.02% and the influence of other variables is 33.98%. Furthermore, the research results of the path coefficient test show that all the path diagram coefficients are significant. Furthermore, the results of model testing indicate that the proposed model is fit with empirical data. Therefore, based on the results of this study it is suggested that the Head of the Medan City Education Office can apply this model so that 66.02% of the organizational commitment of the head of the Children's Education unit can be maximally realized.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the financial performance of automotive companies listed on the IDX for the period 2012 to 2015. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study, with a total population of 13 companies and a sample of 6 automotive companies that have been selected from the population with using purposive sampling method. The data analysis method used is a comparison method consisting of a cross sectional approach and time series analysis. The results show that the results of calculations using the cross-sectional approach, automotive companies in Indonesia for the 2012-2015 period experienced fluctuations and experienced a decline in the industry average at the end of 2015 and many automotive companies were in unhealthy condition in the 2012-2015 period. Based on the results of time series analysis of automotive companies in 2012-2015, it is known that the Total Assets Turn Over has decreased, the results on Net Profit Margin have decreased, the results on the current ratio have decreased, the result of the leverage ratio has increased. The management of automotive companies in Indonesia needs to increase investment in assets, because if the level of liquidity is high but the investment in assets is small, the money or cash available will only be stored and have less value for the company.
