Abstract

Abstract: The prevalence of schizophrenia sufferers in Indonesia is in the range of 0.3% to 1% of the population, one of which is paranoid schizophrenia, which is the most common type with the main symptoms of delusions and hallucinations. Social isolation is one of the most common behaviors, covering around 72% of people with schizophrenia. This study aims to reduce the level of social isolation in clients "DI", sufferers of paranoid schizophrenia who carry out social isolation through Social Skill Training interventions. The method used is case work with the stages of Engagement, Intake, and Contract, Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation and Termination. The results show positive changes in clients, namely: 1) clients have dared to leave the house 2) Clients have started working with working hours of 4-6 hours per day 3) clients have interacted a lot with family and new people. In conclusion, this Social Skill Training Intervention can be an effective model to be applied to other clients with similar conditions

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pola pergerakan kendaraan dan faktor risiko kecelakaan selama periode Natal dan Tahun Baru (Nataru) 2024/2025 di beberapa kota utama di Jawa, serta mengevaluasi peran program mikro magang di posko pengamanan dalam upaya meningkatkan keselamatan transportasi. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis volume lalu lintas, komposisi kendaraan, kejadian kecelakaan, serta efektivitas intervensi keselamatan. Sepeda motor mendominasi komposisi kendaraan di Kota Semarang (59,3%), dengan lonjakan volume signifikan saat arus mudik (37,2%) dan arus balik (28,5%). Terdapat korelasi kuat antara volume sepeda motor dan tingkat kecelakaan (r = 0,72, p < 0,01), yang diperkuat oleh faktor risiko seperti waktu malam (r = 0,61) dan kondisi cuaca (r = 0,56). Ditemukan pula variasi regional, dengan dominasi sepeda motor di Sragen dan Banyumas (±65%) serta kendaraan kecil di Blitar (75%). Proyeksi Nataru 2025/2026 menunjukkan kenaikan volume sebesar 15%. Program mikro magang terbukti meningkatkan kesadaran keselamatan pengguna jalan sebesar 42% dan mendukung pendekatan integratif antara rekayasa lalu lintas dan edukasi keselamatan.

Abstract

Indonesia is a tropical country with the largest coconut production in the world, but the productivity and safety of tappers are still challenges, especially in Pernasidi Village, Banyumas. The main problem is the high dominance of coconuts and the risk of accidents for elderly tappers. As a solution, community service was carried out through socialization and assistance in cultivating shorter and more productive dwarf coconuts. The activity was carried out by a team of lecturers from Unsoed and Telkom University from October to December 2024, involving local farmer groups. The methods used included counseling, field practice, and assistance. The socialization material included the characteristics of dwarf coconuts, cultivation techniques, and their advantages. A total of 250 Entog Genjah seedlings were used in the planting practice. The results showed a significant increase in participant knowledge based on the pretest and posttest. Direct practice strengthens farmers' technical skills, while ongoing assistance ensures the implementation of knowledge in the field. Evaluation through FGD showed the enthusiasm of participants, as evidenced by the formation of new farmer groups and partnership proposals to the local government. In conclusion, this program has succeeded in increasing the capacity of farmers in dwarf coconut cultivation and encouraging collective initiatives. It is recommended that institutional development of farmers and ongoing support from the government be carried out, especially in the provision of superior seeds and advanced training to strengthen the adoption of technology and the sustainability of coconut sap production.

Abstract

Posyandu (Integrated Health Service Post) is a government program in Indonesia that provides healthcare services and child development support at the community level. In Dusun IV, Sei Sijenggi Village, Perbaungan Subdistrict, Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra, a permanent Posyandu facility will be constructed on a 3x3 meter plot located in the yard of the Posyandu head’s residence. This location is approximately 49.4 km from Politeknik Negeri Medan. The establishment of this facility aims to improve access to routine monthly health check-ups for mothers and children, serve as a venue for community activities such as health education and socialization, and eliminate miscommunication caused by the previous relocation of the Posyandu site. The building will feature isolated footings at all four corners, ceramic flooring, and a roof structure made of wooden trusses and zinc sheeting. This initiative also supports the government's program to enhance the welfare and health of the local community.

Abstract

The purpose of the activity is to provide benefits for KPM PKH mothers in increasing knowledge and insight into family financial management, banking and non-bank financial services, financial decision-making and monthly budget making that form a strong foundation for family financial resilience. The Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach is used in PKM activities, through five stages of activities, including 1) Partner cooperation; 2) Pre-abdimas (Determining materials, designing pretests and scheduling activities); 3) Implementation of PKM activities; 4) Evaluating educational activities through Postes and 5) Preparation of reports and publications. The results of the 30 participants were given a pretest, as many as 14 people had low financial literacy and inclusion knowledge, 10 people had moderate financial literacy and inclusion knowledge, the remaining 6 people understood the importance of financial planning and management. The results of the post were obtained by around 24 people who experienced an increase in understanding of financial literacy and inclusion, 3 people still have moderate financial literacy and inclusion and also 3 people are still relatively low

Abstract

This service program aims to increase students' interest in chemistry lessons through contextual activities, namely making aromatherapy candles from used cooking oil and coffee. This activity responds to the challenge of students' low understanding of chemistry concepts and the lack of education on sustainable household waste management. The implementation was conducted in the form of interactive training to 12th grade science students at SMAN 2 Pontianak, combining demonstration with hands-on practice. Pre-Test results showed an average initial understanding of 89.63%, then significantly improved after the training, with 93% of participants reaching the excellent category. Satisfaction surveys showed positive responses to the quality of learning and guidance provided. This activity was able to bridge chemical theory with real applications, as well as introduce circular economy principles in a simple way. The impact of the activity includes increased understanding, appreciation of chemistry, and environmental awareness. This activity has the potential to be implemented in other schools as a practice-focused learning method.

Abstract

Many high school students perceive chemistry as a difficult subject and find it less relevant to daily life. To increase students' interest in chemistry studies, a Student Creativity Program (PKM) was conducted through the creation of herbal soap made from pineapple peel waste. Pineapple peel (Ananas comosus) was chosen because it contains bioactive compounds such as bromelain, flavonoids, tannins, and vitamin C, which have antibacterial and antioxidant properties. Through a project-based practical method, students from MAN 2 Pontianak were directly involved in the herbal soap-making process. The results of the activity showed an improvement in students' understanding of chemistry concepts and an increased interest in chemistry studies. Additionally, this activity supports environmental sustainability by utilizing organic waste. The implementation of practical learning methods has proven effective in enhancing critical thinking skills and fostering students' creativity in producing environmentally friendly products.

Abstract

Program Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini merupakan lanjutan dari PKM sebelumnya, yang telah dilaksanakan dengan hasil pengukuran kepuasan pengguna sebesar 97%, menunjukkan bahwa peserta sangat puas dengan pelatihan yang diberikan dan membutuhkan pelatihan lanjutan terkait penggunaan teknologi informasi. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan kali ini bertujuan untuk mengadakan pelatihan SIMMAS berbasis web bagi pengurus DKM Masjid Khairul Amal Kota Bandung guna mengoptimalkan manajemen masjid di era digital. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode Service Learning. Dari hasil pengukuran indeks % kepuasan terhdap PKM ini diperoleh 98,8%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan kegiatan ini membawa dampak positif bagi peserta. Melalui pelatihan ini, diharapkan pengurus DKM dapat memanfaatkan SIMMAS sehingga tercipta pengelolaan masjid yang lebih modern, transparan, berbasis teknologi, yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pengurus masjid di era digital.

Abstract

In today's digital era, product marketing activities are not only carried out conventionally. Business actors such as Putri Advertising need promotional media that are more effective, attractive, and easily accessible to consumers widely, one of which is through the creation of a plaque e-catalog as a digital promotional media. The purpose of this activity is to increase the competitiveness of business actors and the creation of a professional e-catalog that can be used as a partner marketing tool. The method of this activity is mentoring the creation of a plaque e-catalog. As a result, with this e-catalog, it is hoped that the reach of plaque marketing will be wider, increase selling value, and strengthen Putri Advertising's existence in the competition of the creative industry.

Abstract

Kebumen, aliran sungai yang melintasi kawasan wisata Purangga Park mengalami penurunan kualitas ekologis dan berkurangnya populasi ikan lokal. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk upaya restorasi ekosistem sungai melalui dua aksi utama, yaitu penebaran benih ikan (restocking) dan pembersihan sampah plastik secara massal. Pelaksanaan kegiatan melibatkan warga lintas usia, pemerintah desa, kelompok pemuda, pengelola wisata, dan mahasiswa sebagai fasilitator. Metode partisipatif, edukatif dan kolaboratif dipilih agar kegiatan tidak hanya bersifat seremonial, tetapi juga mampu menumbuhkan rasa kepemilikan terhadap lingkungan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi warga dalam menjaga sungai, munculnya inisiatif relawan lingkungan lokal, serta meningkatnya daya tarik wisata edukatif di kawasan Purangga Park. Antusiasme masyarakat tinggi dan tercipta sinergi antar elemen desa, yang menjadi modal sosial penting untuk keberlanjutan program. Dengan dampak ekologis dan sosial yang positif, kegiatan ini direkomendasikan sebagai model pengabdian berbasis konservasi lingkungan yang dapat direplikasi di daerah lain dengan pendekatan kolaboratif.
