Abstract

Students at MI Tarbiyatus Sa’adah have achieved many accomplishments, both academically and non-academically. These achievements can be achieved because of MI Tarbiyatus Sa’adah’s effective strategies, which include creating development programs that support student achievement. This research aims to: (1) Describe the student achievement development programs at MI Tarbiyatus Sa’adah, (2) Describe the supporting factors for student achievement development at MI Tarbiyatus Sa’adah, (3) Describe the inhibiting factors for student achievement development at MI Tarbiyatus Sa’adah. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection is done through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity is checked using source and technique triangulation. The results show that: 1. MI Tarbiyatus Sa’adah has a strategy for improving student achievement consisting of 7 stages: planning (identification), resource preparation, socialization, program implementation, appreciation, evaluation, and development. 2. Supporting factors for student achievement development include internal factors such as student character, interests, and talents, and external factors such as a safe and comfortable school environment, the role of the head of madrasah, funding allocation, teacher loyalty and commitment, and facilities. 3. Inhibiting factors include the multifunctionality of facilities and a tight schedule of development activities. To address these challenges, the madrasah collaborates with external parties regarding facility limitations and adjusts schedules to align with the availability of practice spaces and mentors.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang memfokuskan keterbukaan serta kebebasan pada siswa untuk memenuhi kebutuhan belajarnya dengan pemberian kebutuhan , minat dan gaya belajar yang berbeda pada siswa. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sudah seharusnya diterapkan di semua mata Pelajaran yang ada di sekolah dasar, termasuk pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui sejauh mana perkembangan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di Sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan literature review dengan menggunakan metode PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses). Hasil penelitia menunjukkan bahwa telah banyak dilakukakknya penelitian dengan topik yang serups khusunya di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

In this modern era, character values ​​are needed to prevent and treat moral crises due to advances in technology and information. The aim of the research regarding implanting religious and discipline character values ​​in elementary school students through Dhuha prayer activities is to identify the process and obstacles in implanting religious and discipline character values ​​in students through Dhuha prayer activities, as well as the impact of Dhuha prayer activities on students' religious and discipline character. Researchers used a qualitative approach and case study research methods. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The research results obtained; the Dhuha prayer activity has a positive impact on the religious and discipline character values ​​of students at the school, as seen by observation, interviews, and documentation indicates that students became accustomed to religious worship and understood the importance of being close to Allah, and became more disciplined in following school rules and routines.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran guru profesional sebagai fasilitator dalam mengembangkan proses pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif di era digital. Latar belakang kajian ini adalah munculnya tantangan globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi yang menuntut adanya transformasi dalam sistem pendidikan. Guru dalam konteks ini diposisikan bukan sekadar sebagai penyampai materi, melainkan sebagai pendamping aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi literatur. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa guru profesional memiliki peranan penting dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi guna menciptakan pembelajaran yang interaktif, kolaboratif, dan bermakna. Di samping itu, artikel ini juga menyoroti pentingnya peningkatan kompetensi digital guru sebagai bagian dari tuntutan profesionalisme di tengah tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to explore local wisdom-based Social Studies (IPS) learning strategies in building the character of elementary school students. The background of this study is based on the importance of character education in IPS and the challenges of globalization that can erode local cultural values. To achieve this goal, this study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method, namely reviewing various literature related to local wisdom-based learning strategies in the context of IPS education. The results of the study indicate that the integration of local wisdom in IPS learning has a positive impact on improving academic understanding and character formation of students. Previous studies have revealed that the use of folklore, local traditions, and cultural practices in IPS learning can instill the values of mutual cooperation, honesty, and tolerance. In addition, an experience-based and community approach has been shown to increase student engagement and motivation to learn. However, this study also found several challenges in implementing this strategy, such as differences of opinion among educators, resistance from the community, and variations in students' academic results. Therefore, support is needed from various parties, including the government, schools, and the community, to overcome these challenges. Steps such as teacher training, development of local wisdom-based teaching materials, and socialization to the community need to be done so that this strategy can be implemented systematically and sustainably. Thus, local wisdom-based social studies learning can be a solution in forming a generation with strong character and high cultural awareness. Abstract

The study discusses the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Transformation Plus policy for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI) graduates. The teaching profession's responsibility to educate and develop characters is similar to the medical profession for caring for human health. Both require special expertise through academic education and professional education. The research used qualitative methods in library research. The source was a letter attachment from the Directorate General of Islamic Education of the Ministry of Religious Affairs with number B-36/DJ.I/Dt.I.II/HM.00/01/2025. Researchers used content analysis techniques in three stages: planning, organizing, and reporting. The findings are as follows: First, the allowance of non-PGMI/PGSD education majors to become class teachers minimizes the acceptence of PGMI graduates. These majors can become classroom teachers, which is the work area of PGMI graduates, but PGMI graduates cannot become subject teachers. Secondly, this policy weakens the bargaining value of PGMI majors because the classroom teacher profession does not have to be from a PGMI undergraduate.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the efforts made to foster reading literacy among students at MIM 11 TPAY Blimbing, identify the supporting factors for the implementation of the reading literacy program at MIM 11 TPAY, and examine the inhibiting factors in its execution. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, with the research site located at MIM 11 TPAY Blimbing, Paciran, Lamongan. The subjects of this research were identified through interviews and observations. The findings indicate that the implementation of the literacy movement at MIM 11 TPAY Lamongan progresses through phases of habituation, development, and learning. Supporting factors at MIM 11 TPAY Blimbing, Paciran, Lamongan include the library, reading books, magazines, reading corners, and active reading posters. Conversely, the inhibiting factor identified is the library's suboptimal functionality due to students' poor reading habits.

Abstract

The development of a Canva-based learning video regarding the ethics of buying and selling activities in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning for grade 3 elementary school students aims to create interesting and interactive media. In an educational context that increasingly demands innovation, using the Canva application allows teachers to present material more visually and easily understood by children. This research uses the D&D (Design and Development) method by applying the ADDIE development model which includes needs analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results of this development show that the resulting learning videos not only increase students' understanding of the ethics of buying and selling in Islam, but also increase their learning motivation. With an attractive appearance and relevant content, it is hoped that this video can make it easier for students to understand important concepts related to ethical buying and selling in accordance with religious teachings.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of implementing the Understanding by Design (UbD) approach based on Assemblr EDU on the learning outcomes of Science and Social Studies (IPAS) among grade V students at SD Negeri 7 Parittiga, compared to students who were not taught using this approach. The research method used is quantitative, with a type of Quasi-Experimental Design in the form of a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study consisted of all grade V students at SD Negeri 7 Parittiga. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling, specifically census/total sampling. Based on the data analysis results, the value of t-count > t-table (2.253 > 2.024), thus H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. Likewise, the significance value (2-tailed) = 0.030 < 0.05. This indicates that there is a significant effect of implementing the Understanding by Design (UbD) approach based on Assemblr EDU on the IPAS learning outcomes of grade V students at SD Negeri 7 Parittiga compared to those not taught using this approach. Therefore, the implementation of the Understanding by Design approach based on Assemblr EDU is effective in improving the IPAS learning outcomes of grade V students.

Abstract

Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa, terutama dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai demokrasi dan toleransi sejak usia dini. Di tingkat Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) dan Sekolah Dasar (SD), pengajaran PKn bertujuan untuk membekali siswa dengan pemahaman tentang hak dan kewajiban sebagai warga negara serta pentingnya menghargai perbedaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pendidikan kewarganegaraan dapat menanamkan nilai demokrasi dan toleransi pada siswa MI/SD. Metode yang digunakan adalah library research, yang mengkaji berbagai literatur terkait pelaksanaan pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran PKn dapat diterapkan dengan baik melalui pendekatan berbasis diskusi, kerja kelompok, dan simulasi kehidupan demokrasi, yang membantu siswa untuk memahami prinsip-prinsip tersebut secara langsung. Meskipun demikian, implementasi pendidikan ini menghadapi beberapa tantangan, seperti keterbatasan fasilitas pendukung dan pemahaman yang belum merata di kalangan pendidik.
