Abstract

Tapanuli Tengah terletak pada kawasan Pantai Barat Sumatera Utara yang kaya akan potensi kelautan dan Perikanan darat. Penduduk Tapanuli Tengah sebagian memiliki mata pencarian sebagai nelayan dan petani ikan. Salah satu ikan endemik air tawar di sungai Tapanuli Tengah yang menjanjikan adalah ikan Batak (Neolissochilus thienemanni). Ikan Batak termasuk jenis ikan langka dengan kategori Red List Status. Tujuan PkM ini adalah melatih masyarakat tentang bagaimana cara membuat alat tangkap bubu yang ramah lingkungan untuk mendukung memijahkan ikan batak secara buatan dan memberi keterampilan kepada masyarakat tentang desain alat tangkap bubu tersebut. Adapun tujuan prioritas pengabdian untuk meningkatkan keterampilan, pendapatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Berdasarkan kegiatan Pemberdayaan Berbasis Masyarakat yang sudah dilakukan berupa sosialisasi pelatihan dan pendampingan memberikan dampak yang positif dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dibidang pembuatan alat tangkap yang ramah lingkungan dalam mendukung persiapan pemijahan ikan batak secara artificial spawning.

Abstract

Assistance in reading the Al-Quran is a service to the community as an effort to implement the tri dharma of higher education. This is done to increase students' motivation and interest in reading the Al-Quran. The learning assistance method used is to provide direct learning assistance, namely community service program implementers, Ustadzah and students reading the Al-Quran directly and face to face. Assistance in reading the Al-Quran was carried out at TPQ As Salma Maronde. The mentoring process carried out went well and smoothly. The results obtained from assistance in reading the Al-Quran at TPQ As Salma Maronde are as follows: 1) Increasing motivation and interest in reading the Al-Quran for TPQ As Salma Maronde students, 2) Providing direct assistance to TPQ As Salma Maronde students in reading and writing Al- Quran, 3) Assistance in reading the Al-Quran is fun and can increase the motivation of the students. Abstrak Pendampingan membaca Al-Quran ini merupakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sebagai upaya pelaksanaan tri dharma perguruan tinggi. Hal ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan motivasi serta minat santri membaca AlQuran. Metode pendampingan belajar yang digunakan dengan memberikan pendampingan belajar secara langsung, yakni para pelaksana program pengabdian kepada masyarakat, Ustadzah dan santri membaca Al-Quran secara langsung dan tatap muka. Pendampingan membaca Al-Quran ini dilakukan di TPQ As Salma Maronde. Proses pendampingan yang dilakukan berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pendampingan membaca Al-Quran di TPQ As Salma Maronde sebagai berikut: 1) Meningkatkan motivasi dan minat membaca Al-Quran santri TPQ As Salma Maronde, 2) Pemberian pendampingan langsung kepada santri TPQ As Salma Maronde dalam baca dan tulis Al-Quran, 3) Pendampingan membaca AlQuran terasa menyenangkan dan dapat meningkatkan motivasi para santri.

Abstract

This community service aims to prevent sexual violence against children and teenagers in Pemulung Pancoran village, South Jakarta. The issue being faced is the high rate of sexual violence that occurs among children and teenagers in the area. The focus of this service is to provide knowledge and understanding to the community regarding the dangers of sexual violence, the importance of child protection, and preventative steps that can be taken. The method used in this research is a participatory approach through collaboration with the local community. Initial steps involve an in-depth understanding of the social and cultural situation of the village. Next, the research team interacted with local residents, community leaders, and relevant institutions to understand the challenges faced and build trust. This sexual violence prevention program includes several components. First, counseling and education is carried out through workshops, group discussions, and delivery of material to children, teenagers, parents, and educators in the village. The material presented includes identifying signs of sexual violence, how to report incidents, and self-protection efforts. The results of this community service include increasing public knowledge and awareness about sexual violence and how to prevent it. Society has become more sensitive to the signs of sexual violence in children and adolescents, and is able to take appropriate steps to protect them. In addition, the formation of a community network that cares about the issue of sexual violence helps strengthen prevention and protection efforts in Pemulung Pancoran village, South Jakarta. Abstrak Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pencegahan kekerasan seksual terhadap anak dan remaja di kampung Pemulung Pancoran, Jakarta Selatan. Isu yang dihadapi adalah tingginya angka kekerasan seksual yang terjadi di kalangan anak dan remaja di wilayah tersebut. Fokus pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada masyarakat mengenai bahaya kekerasan seksual, pentingnya perlindungan anak, dan langkah-langkah pencegahan yang dapat dilakukan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan partisipatif melalui kolaborasi dengan komunitas setempat. Langkah-langkah awal melibatkan pemahaman mendalam terhadap situasi sosial dan budaya kampung. Selanjutnya, tim peneliti berinteraksi dengan penduduk setempat, pemimpin masyarakat, dan lembaga terkait untuk memahami tantangan yang dihadapi dan membangun kepercayaan. Program pencegahan kekerasan seksual ini mencakup beberapa komponen. Pertama, penyuluhan dan edukasi dilakukan melalui workshop, diskusi kelompok, dan penyampaian materi kepada anak, remaja, orang tua, dan pendidik di kampung tersebut. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi identifikasi tanda-tanda kekerasan seksual, cara melaporkan kejadian, dan upaya perlindungan diri. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini meliputi peningkatan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat tentang kekerasan seksual serta cara mencegahnya. Masyarakat menjadi lebih peka terhadap tanda-tanda kekerasan seksual pada anak dan remaja, serta mampu mengambil langkah-langkah yang tepat untuk melindungi mereka. Selain itu, terbentuknya jaringan komunitas yang peduli terhadap isu kekerasan seksual membantu memperkuat upaya pencegahan dan perlindungan di kampung Pemulung Pancoran, Jakarta Selatan.

Abstract

Community Service activities were carried out in Parepare City, Bacukiki District, South Sulawesi Province, precisely at the First High School of Negeri 3 Parepare. The objectives of this activity are to: (1) Increase teachers' knowledge in processing and analyzing research data; (2) Increase awareness and knowledge in teachers about the importance of data management in research data analysis; (3) Increase teachers' insights, abilities, and skills in utilizing data to be more informative with data analysis using excel software; and (4) Reduce the number of teachers who do data processing and analysis intuitively and manually in the computing era. The method used was counseling and teaching, discussion, and training in collaboration between the implementer and the first partner. This method was implemented for all teachers of SMP Negeri 3 Parepare, who were trained for 2 to 4 days and then gradual evaluation and monitoring were carried out periodically for 2 months. The resulting outputs are: (1) increased teacher knowledge in processing and analyzing research data; (2) increased awareness and knowledge of teachers about the importance of processing and analyzing research data; (3) increased teachers' insights, abilities, and skills in utilizing data to be more informative with proper data processing and analysis; and (4) reduced the number of teachers who carry out data processing and analysis intuitively and manually in the computing era, (5) increased competence of trainees in processing research data after training. Abstrak Kegiatan Ipteks bagi Masyarakat dilaksanakan di Kota Parepare Kecamatan Bacukiki, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan tepatnya di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 3 Parepare Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk: (1) Meningkatkan pengetahuan guru dalam pengolahan dan menganalisis data penelitian; (2) Meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan pada guru tentang pentingnya pengelolaan data dalam analisis data penelitian; (3) Meningkatkan wawasan, kemampuan, dan keterampilan guru dalam memanfaatkan data menjadi lebih informatif dengan analisis data menggunakan perangkat lunak excel; dan (4) Mengurangi jumlah guru yang melakukan pengolahan dan analisis data secara intuisi dan manual di era komputasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dan pengajaran, diskusi, dan pelatihan secara kolaborasi antara pelaksana dengan mitra pertama. Metode ini dilaksanakan kepada semua guru SMP Negeri 3 Parepare, yang dilatih selama 2 s/d 4 hari dan selanjutnya evaluasi bertahap dan monitoring dilakukan secara berkala selama 2 bulan. Luaran yang dihasilkan adalah: (1) pengetahuan guru bertambah dalam pengolahan dan dalam menganalisis data penelitian; (2) Meningkatnya kesadaran dan pengetahuan pada guru tentang pentingnya pengolahan dan analisis data penelitian; (3) Meningkatnya wawasan, kemampuan, dan keterampilan guru dalam memanfaatkan data menjadi lebih informatif dengan pengolahan dan analisis data yang tepat; dan (4) berkurangnya jumlah guru yang melakukan pengolahan dan analisis data secara intuisi dan manual di era komputasi, (5) Bertambahnya kompetensi peserta pelatihan dalam mengolah data penelitian setelah dilaksanakan pelatihan.

Abstract

Population administration is an important document, generally speaking, in fact many citizens ignore population administration, resulting in the de facto not being in line with the de jure. This can affect development and equality and can influence policy formulation, especially in the health sector. Based on these problems, the Surabaya City Population and Civil Registration Department created the KALIMASADA (Population Administration Aware Community Environmental Area). To realize the program objectives, assistance was provided to increase the knowledge and ability of the KALIMASADA RT in entering population documents so that the RT becomes empowered and can create an environmental area, a community that is aware of population administration. The results obtained are that the RTs that run KALIMASADA are implementing how to use KNG, and there is an improvement in the way RT heads provide solutions related to the problems faced by residents regarding the management of their population administration documents.

Abstract

The aim of this service activity is to increase the understanding of teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Tibawa regarding the implementation of differentiated learning. Differentiated learning is an attempt to adapt the learning process in the classroom to meet the individual learning needs of each student. It is important for differentiated learning to be implemented in schools, especially in schools selected as driving schools, so activities were carried out to increase teacher capacity in terms of implementing differentiated learning through workshop activities which were attended by all teachers from SMA Negeri 1 Tibawa, Gorontalo Province. Tibawa State High School 1 is one of the driving schools which has been running for the last 2 years since 2022. Service activities use lecture, discussion and games methods as well as active participation from the participants. There were 46 participants who took part in this activity, all of whom were teachers from the Tibawa 1 State High School (SMA), Gorontalo Regency. This service activity had a very positive impact on the participants who took part in this activity, the participants were very enthusiastic and increased the participants' understanding regarding the implementation of differentiated learning in the classroom.

Abstract

Lesson Study is an approach to improving the quality of learning carried out by teachers collaboratively, with the main steps of designing learning to achieve goals, implementing learning, observing the implementation of the learning, and reflecting to discuss the learning studied and improve it and plan the next lesson. The main focus of implementing lesson study is student activities in class, with the assumption that student activities are related to teacher activities while teaching in class. In implementing PPL Education at UNTAD, the implementation of Lesson Study is integrated with the implementation of clinical supervision. The aim is to improve the quality of student learning outcomes and learning products. However, what is still experienced by the world of education today is that more than 50% of teachers do not understand and pay less attention to achieving and improving pedagogical and professional competence, including in schools in Palu City. To teach teachers to implement LS, it is not enough if teachers are introduced to what and how to implement it, but they also need to be introduced to why, what the long-term and short-term goals of implementation are. Teachers also need to be introduced to what the requirements are, what the difficulties and obstacles are in implementation, and that the main requirement for implementation is a commitment to benefit the nation's children. One of the critical characteristics of intelligent humans is that they not only know something but also how to respond and act on it.AbstrakLesson Study merupakan suatu pendekatan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh guru secara kolaboratif, dengan langkah-langkah pokok merancang pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan, melaksanakan pembelajaran, mengamati pelaksanaan pembelajaran tersebut, serta melakukan refleksi untuk mendisukusikan pembelajaran yang dikaji tersebut dan menyempurkannya dan merencanakan pembelajaran berikutnya. Fokus utama pelaksanaan Lesson Study adalah aktivitas siswa di kelas, dengan asumsi bahwa aktivitas siswa tersebut terkait dengan aktivitas guru selama mengajar di kelas. Dalam penyelenggaraan PPL Kependidikan di UNTAD, penerapan Lesson Study diintegrasikan dengan penerapan supervisi klinis. Tujuannya untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil belajar dan produk belajar siswa. Namun yang masih dialami oleh dunia pendidikan sampai saat ini adalah lebih besar 50% guru yang kurang memahami dan kurang memperhatikan pencapaian dan peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik dan professional, termasuk di sekolah-sekolah yang ada di Kota Palu. Untuk membelajarkan guru melaksanakan LS tidak cukup bila guru dikenalkan pada apa dan bagaimana melaksanakannya, tetapi juga perlu dikenalkan mengapa, apa tujuan jangka panjang dan jangka pendek pelaksanaan. Guru juga perlu dikenalkan pada apa persyaratannya, apa kesulitan dan hambatan pelaksanannya, dan bahwa persyaratan utama pelaksanannya adalah adanya komitmen untuk memaslahatkan anak bangsa. Salah satu ciri kritis manusia cerdas yakni tidak hanya mengetahui sesuatu tetapi juga bagaimana menanggapi dan menindaklanjutinya.

Abstract

Bullying, sexual violence, and drug abuse are behaviors that currently attract the attention of education observers. Many of these behaviors occur in school-age children including in elementary schools. Therefore, one of the efforts made to minimize the development of this is by conducting socialization. The socialization activities carried out by the service team are an initial step to protect and prevent bullying, sexual violence, and drug abuse in schools. This socialization aims to provide information to students about the types of bullying, sexual violence, and drug abuse, and actions that can be taken to avoid or prevent these things so that the final result expected from this socialization activity is the formation of positive characters from students to prevent and avoid these behaviors. This socialization activity is integrated with one of the student programs from the Tadulako University campus who participated in Campus Teaching Batch 5 assigned to SDN 8 Palu.

Abstract

Tuberculosis disease is a direct infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis bacteria or known as pulmonary TB, has a very fast transmission rate and is also very contagious. The method used in this activity is a quantitative pre-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. This community service was carried out as a government effort in controlling the risk of tuberculosis disease and enlivening the tri dharma objectives of Hasanuddin University, namely carrying out community service. The community service activities were carried out with health counseling on tuberculosis disease which was held on October 7, 2023 at SMP 3 Mappakasunggu Satangnga Hamlet, Mattirobaji Village, Tanakeke Islands Sub-District, Takalar Regency in 2023. The number of counseling participants was 19 people and this activity was accompanied by the principal and 4 teachers. The community service activities that have been carried out show that there are differences before and after health counseling on tuberculosis disease at SMP Negeri 3 Mappakasunggu Satangnga Hamlet, Mattirobaji Village, Kec. Tanakeke Islands, Takalar Regency. This can be seen in the p-value (0.000) <0.05. For rat identification, the type of rat obtained was the rattus-rattus diardii type as many as 2 rats. Then the survey of larvae that were found were aedes aegepty larvae in 15 community houses. It is hoped that the people of Satanngga Hamlet will always adopt clean and healthy living habits and maintain a clean environment around their homes. Abstrak Penyakit tuberkulosis adalah penyakit menular langsung yang disebabkan oleh bakteri Mycobacterium Tuberculosis atau dikenal dengan TB paru, memiliki tingkat penularan yang sangat cepat dan juga sangat mudah menular. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode kuantitatif pre-experimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan sebagai upaya pemerintah dalam mengendalikan risiko penyakit tuberkulosis dan menyemarakkan tujuan tri dharma perguruan tinggi Universitas Hasanuddin yaitu melaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan penyuluhan Kesehatan mengenai penyakit tuberkulosis yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 7 Oktober 2023 di SMP 3 Mappakasunggu Dusun Satangnga, Desa Mattirobaji, Kec. Kepulauan Tanakeke, Kabupaten Takalar Tahun 2023. Jumlah peserta penyuluhan sebanyak 19 orang dan kegiatan ini di damping oleh kepala sekolah dan 4 orang guru. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan kesehatan penyakit tuberkulosis di SMP Negeri 3 Mappakasunggu Dusun Satangnga, Desa Mattirobaji, Kec. Kepulauan Tanakeke, Kabupaten Takalar. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada nilai p-value (0.000) < 0.05. Untuk identidikasi tikus, jenis tikus yang didapatkan adalah jenis rattus-rattus diardii sebanyak 2 ekor. Kemudian survey jentik yang banyak ditemukan adalah jentik aedes aegepty di 15 rumah masyarakat. Abstract

As an educator, a teacher ideally should have a strong understanding of the concept of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in learning and assessment. This understanding is crucial to support the implementation of teaching and assessment in the era of Society 5.0. Higher Order Thinking Skills, commonly known as HOTS, refer to an individual's ability to think in a more complex manner. Indicators used in HOTS questions include three aspects within the context of Bloom's taxonomy, namely analysis (C4), evaluation (C5), and creation (C6). This community service activity aims to illustrate the steps and analyze the results of supervision in enhancing the competence of teachers in developing HOTS-based learning assessments at SMA Wijaya Putra in Surabaya. The supervision method employed is participative, utilizing direct guidance and Focus Group Discussions. The results of this supervision show an improvement in teachers' ability to create assessments of learning.This improvement is evident in the initial observation of learning assessments, where only ability increased to 75%, indicating a substantial improvement from the initial condition. In conclusion, this community service activity successfully enhanced the skills of teachers in developing HOTS-based assessments.".
