Abstract

The incidence of speech and language delay disorders in children in Indonesia ranges from 2.3-24.6%. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends that electronic media screen exposure should not be given to children under 18 months of age. While at the age of 2 to 4 years, exposure to electronic media screens is suggested to be limited to about 1 hour per day. The influence of the duration of the digital devices in electronic media screen exposure (screen time) greatly impacts language development. This study aims to determine the correlation between duration and frequency of exposure to screen time on language development of toddlers at Kendalkerep health center in Malang city. This study used a cross-sectional method with questionnaires and KPSP measuring instruments to determine language development in toddlers at Kendalkerep Health Center in Malang City. There was a correlation between duration and frequency of exposure to screen time on language development of toddlers at Puskesmas Kendalkerep in Malang City with a spearman correlation of duration and language development of r=0.375 (Moderate), while the spearman correlation of frequency and language development was r=0.424 (Moderate). The study concluded that there was a correlation between duration and frequency of exposure to Electronic Screen Time on language development of toddlers at Puskesmas Kendalkerep in Malang City.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in text-based Indonesian language learning for class VII students at State Middle Schools in Bolo District, Bima Regency. The Merdeka Curriculum, as the latest innovation in the Indonesian education system, brings significant changes in learning approaches, including in teaching Indonesian. The main aim of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing this new curriculum, with a special focus on text-based learning which is at the core of Indonesian language teaching.The research method used is a mixed method, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research sample consisted of five state junior high schools in Bolo District, involving 15 Indonesian language teachers and 150 class VII students. Data collection was carried out through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers, student surveys, and analysis of curriculum documents and lesson plans. Qualitative data was analyzed using thematic analysis techniques, while quantitative data was processed using descriptive statistical analysis. Data triangulation was used to increase the validity of research findings.

Abstract

The ritual of begawe pati 'feast for the dead' in Batukliang Utara District as a form of farewell carried out by living relatives towards the deceased. In the begawe pati there are many linguistic lingual units used to mark the language in begawe pati. The purpose of this study was to determine the lingual units contained in begawe pati in Batukliang District. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. This study uses observation, interview, and documentation methods with note- taking techniques. The results of this study found that the lingual units related to begawe pati with the order of lingual units in the form of words, lingual units in the form of verbs, lingual units in the form of phrases, and lingual units in the form of clauses. Meanwhile, from the cultural perspective on begawe pati, the local community views begawe pati as a series of events in the Sasak traditional death ceremony which in ancient times was a form of respect for the deceased so that they would be calm on their journey to the next world, in addition so that the bereaved family could sincerely let go of the deceased. The community believes that the rituals contained in begawe pati are worthy of being passed on to their successors because they do not harm others and insult the teachings of Islam.

Abstract

This research is research and development. This research aims to develop teaching materials based on Puspakarma translated manuscripts as model texts for fiction work material in junior high schools, using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The stages followed in this research are analyzing the need for open materials; Designing teaching materials according to the curriculum and Permendikbud (2016) regarding textbooks used by educational units; develop open materials according to previously prepared plans; The teaching materials that have been developed are validated first by validators, then implemented in the learning process; and stream student learning outcomes after using the teaching materials that have been developed, as well as knowing student responses to the teaching materials developed through questionnaires filled out by students. The number of students who were research subjects and respondents in this study were 6 students consisting of 2 students with high, medium and low cognitive levels. The data collection techniques used were literature study, observation, interviews, questionnaires and tests. The instruments used were questionnaires for validity testing given to material expert validators, language expert validators, media expert validators, and one Indonesian language teacher at SMPN 6 Praya Timur, as well as response questionnaires given to students to find out students' assessments of the teaching materials. developed. The research results show that the total scores obtained from the validation results by the validators have an average of 4.76 and 4.12 based on student responses to the Puspakarma translation script-based teaching materials developed. These scores respectively fall into the ranges X>4.2 and 3.4<×≤4.2, which means the product has very good and good criteria. This can be concluded that the developed product is suitable to use.

Abstract

This research plan departs from interviews with parents and several educational practitioners regarding problems in implementing the 2013 Curriculum. The results of these interviews show that the competency demands that elementary school students must master today are more complex than in the previous curriculum implementation period. The subject matter taught to elementary school students, especially in the upper grades (grades 4 to grade 6), is material that was previously taught at the junior high school level, perhaps even in some high schools. Referring to Piaget's theory of cognitive development, the construction of the 2013 curriculum is designed in such a way as to engineer children's cognitive development beyond their biological age. If according to Piaget, the last stage of cognitive development is formal operational which is reached after children are 11 years old or more, then in the construction of the 2013 Curriculum it is necessary to assume that children are encouraged to reach this cognitive stage more quickly. This research aims to test whether the stages of cognitive development according to Piaget are still relevant to the current condition of students in Indonesia. The duration of the research is 6 months with a quantitative approach. The unit of analysis is elementary school students in Mataram City whose level of cognitive development will be measured. Research outputs are targeted in research results reports and articles published in accredited national journals Sinta 3 or international journals. The TKT that is expected to be achieved is at level 3, namely confirmation of the relevance of a theory and basis for determining policy, especially in developing educational curricula.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of number card media on the ability to recognize number symbols in 4-5 year old children. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental Design research type. The population in this study was 10 children. The sample in this study consisted of 10 children, divided into 5 children as the experimental group and 5 children as the control group. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and non-parametric analysis. The children's ability to recognize numbers for the experimental group shows that it is -2.041 and the sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.041 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the ability to recognize number symbols for children in the experimental group before and after being given treatment. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the ability to recognize number symbols in children who were treated with the influence of number card media in the experimental group was better than the control group. So, it can be concluded that the influence of Number Card Media has a significant influence on the ability to recognize number symbols for children aged 4-5 years at PAUD Yaa Bunayya Enrekang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menetahui pengaruh Media Kartu Angka Terhadap Kemampuan Mengenal lambang Bilangan Pada Usia 4-5 Tahun Anak Usia Dini. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperiment Desain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 10 orang anak. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 10 anak dengan pembagian 5 anak sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 5 anak sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis non parametrik. Kemampuan Mengenal Bilangan anak untuk kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa sebesar -2,041 dan nilai sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,041 < 0,05 jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan Kemampuan Mengenal lambang Bilangan anak pada kelompok eksperimen sebelum dan setelah diberikan perlakuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kemampuan Mengenal lambang Bilangan anak yang diberi perlakuan pengaruh Media Kartu Angka pada kelompok eksperimen lebih baik dari kelompok kontrol. Jadi, dapat disimpilkan bahwa pengaruh Media Kartu Angka memberikab pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Kemampuan Mengenal lambang Bilangan anak usia 4-5 tahun di PAUD Yaa Bunayya Enrekang,

Abstract

ABSTRAK Keterlibatan Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) dalam dunia industri telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam sektor jasa, kesehatan, pertanian, dan sektor lainnya. Keberadaan AI sangat penting bagi daya saing inovasi perusahaan dalam menciptakan produk dan layanan. Namun, terdapat fenomena standar ganda di kalangan mahasiswa. Sebagai konsumen, mereka menerima dan mempercayai produk yang diproduksi dengan bantuan AI. Di sisi lain, para pencari kerja khawatir bahwa AI akan menggantikan manusia di dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiagnosis sikap mahasiswa terhadap keterlibatan AI dalam industri dan memverifikasi efektivitas metode pendidikan saat ini dalam menghadapi perkembangan AI. Teknik yang digunakan meliputi survei terhadap mahasiswa di bidang teknologi untuk mengukur kesadaran mereka terhadap potensi dan implikasi AI, tingkat kekhawatiran mereka terhadap penggantian pekerja manusia, dan persetujuan mereka terhadap integrasi AI ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah pemahaman mendalam tentang bagaimana perusahaan harus mengomunikasikan penggunaan otomatisasi dan digitalisasi dalam pemasaran dan bagaimana mahasiswa, sebagai calon pekerja, menanggapi kehadiran AI dalam industri. Temuan ini penting untuk menyesuaikan strategi pendidikan, industri, dan pemasaran di era digitalisasi dan otomatisasi yang terus berkembang. Kata kunci: Kecerdasan Buatan, Mahasiswa, Industri, Pendidikan, Pencari Kerja, Digitalisasi, Otomatisasi ABSTRACT The involvement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the industrial world has brought significant changes in the service, health, agricultural, and other sectors. The existence of AI is essential for the competitiveness of company innovation in creating products and services. However, there is a double standard phenomenon among students. As consumers, they accept and trust products produced with the help of AI. On the other hand, job seekers are concerned that AI will replace humans in the workforce. This study aims to diagnose students' attitudes towards the involvement of AI in industry and verify the effectiveness of current educational methods in dealing with the development of AI. The techniques used include a survey of students in the technology field to measure their awareness of the potential and implications of AI, their level of concern about replacing human workers, and their agreement with the integration of AI into the educational curriculum. The expected results are an in-depth understanding of how companies should communicate the use of automation and digitalization in marketing and how students, as prospective workers, respond to the presence of AI in the industry. These findings are essential for adjusting educational, industrial, and marketing strategies in the era of ever-growing digitalization and automation. Abstract

This study aims to prove the relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Learning Interest of XI MIPA Class Students at SMA Negeri 15 Bone. This research is quantitative research with correlational methods. The data processed are data on the population and student samples, questionnaires, interviews and documentation, using a sampling technique, namely purposive sampling with a sample of XI MIPA 2 class of 30 students. The data collection method in this study used a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is Product Moment Correlation. The results of this study show the product moment correlation coefficient value rxy = 305 with a significance of p = 0.000 p < 0.05, meaning that there is a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and interest in learning in students at SMA Negeri 15 Bone, with a determinant coefficient of (r2) 0.29 or 96.7%, in other words the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh brand image terhadap keputusan pembelian Smartphone Xiaomi pada mahasiswa Program Studi Diploma III Administrasi Bisnis Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 82 orang respondenyang menggunakan atau pernah menggunakan Smartphone Xiaomi. Analisis pengaruh brand image terhadap keputusan membeli Smartphone Xiaomi padapenelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier sederhana dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan program SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand image memiliki hubungan positif terhadap keputusan pembelian Smartpohne Xiaomi pada Mahasiswa Program Studi Diploma III Administrasi Bisnis Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya. Perusahaan Xiaomi disarankan mempertahankan brand image karena terbukti bahwa hasil penelitian ini, brand image Smartphone Xiaomi memiliki pengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

This research aims to determine fine motor skills using collage play at the age of 5-6 years in early childhood. This research aims to determine fine motor skills using play games at the age of 5-6 years in early childhood. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental Design research type. The population in this study was 14 children. The sample in this study consisted of 14 children, divided into 7 children as the experimental group and 7 children as the kontrol group. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and non-parametric analysis. The fine motor skills of children for the experimental group showed that it was -2.401 and the sig (2-tailed) value was 0.041 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the fine motor skills of children in the experimental group before and after being given treatment. Based on the research results, it can be concluded It was concluded that the fine motor skills of children who were treated with grain collage in the experimental group were better than the kontrol group. So, it can be concluded that grain collage has a significant influence on the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Atira, Takalar Regency.
