Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of free shipping (postage), discounts, and Collect on Delivery (COD) on purchase decisions at TikTok Shop in students of the Faculty of Economics, Methodist University of Indonesia (UMI). The background of this research is based on the rapid development of e-commerce, especially TikTok Shop, which attracts the attention of young consumers such as students. COD payment methods and promotions such as free shipping and discounts are the main attractions of TikTok Shop in influencing purchase decisions.This study uses a quantitative method by involving students of the Faculty of Economics UMI as respondents. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire with a Likert scale to measure students' perception of the influence of free shipping, discounts, and COD on their purchasing decisions. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods to test the research hypothesis using IBM SPSS version 25. The results of the study explained that the Free Shipping variable partially had a positive and significant effect on Purchase Decisions. This variable explains that the Discount Payment variable partially has a positive and significant effect on the Purchase Decision. This variable explains that the Cash On Delivery (COD) Payment variable partially has a positive and insignificant effect on Purchase Decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyse the effect of employee engagement, organisational inclusiveness, and collaboration on employee loyalty at the Medan City Human Resources Staffing and Development Agency. The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive research method. The sample in this study were all employees of the Civil Service Agency and Human Resources Development of Medan City, totalling 67 employees because of the small sample size, the authors used the saturated sampling technique. Based on the results of the t hypothesis test, it can be concluded that employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty, organisational inclusiveness has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty, collaboration has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. Based on the results of the F hypothesis test, it can be concluded that employee engagement, organisational inclusiveness, and collaboration simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination analysis, the Adjusted R Square is 0.685, which means that the employee loyalty variable can be explained by the employee engagement, organisational inclusiveness, and collaboration variables in this study by 68.5%, while the remaining 31.5% is other variables or factors.

Abstract

Employee performance is considered important for the organization because the success of an organization is influenced by the performance itself. Performance or work performance is the work achieved by an employee in carrying out tasks according to the responsibilities assigned to him. Many factors can affect employee performance including supervision and training. This study intends to determine the effect of Supervision and Training on Employee Performance either partially or simultaneously. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive method. Research objects in this study are employees, totaling 48 people. The sampling technique uses the saturated sampling technique, which means the population is the same as the sample. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results showed partially and simultaneously the Supervision and Training affected the Employee Performance. In companies, it is advisable to monitor employee attitudes in working and socializing, making strict rules for employees who are often late and employees who are always unable to complete work on time. In connection with job training, companies are advised to hold training that is really by the needs of the company considering the number of costs that must be incurred during the implementation of training, using trainers who are experts in their fields, materials that are suitable for needs, methods that are easy to understand so that the training is held run effectively and efficiently so that in the end have an impact on improving employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyse the influence of organisational culture, work flexibility, and job training on employee job satisfaction at Efarina Etaham Berastagi Hospital. The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive research method. The sample in this study were 150 respondents. Based on the results of the t hypothesis test, it can be concluded that organisational culture partially has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, work flexibility partially has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, job training partially has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Based on the results of the F hypothesis test, it can be concluded that organisational culture, work flexibility, and job training together or simultaneously have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination analysis, it is known that the adjusted R-square value is 0.838. Based on this value, organisational culture, work flexibility, and job training are able to influence job satisfaction by 58.1%, the remaining 41.9% is explained by other variables or factors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the Service and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) have on customer loyalty at company. The research methodology used is descriptive quantitative method, the unit of analysis in this study is campany and its observation unit are customers of campany. The population in this study were customers of campany, as many as 35 respondents. The technique of determining the number of samples used in this study amounted to 35 respondents. The research method used is the data collection technique through library research and field research which is carried out systematically based on the research objectives. The analytical method used to solve problems and prove the hypothesis is descriptive analysis, regression analysis. This analysis includes validity and reliability, classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing through t and F tests, and the coefficient of determination (R2). From this analysis, it is obtained the regression analysis of Customer Loyalty = 6,182 + 0,082 Service + 0.375 SOP.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of e-commerce implementation on the marketing strategy of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Deli Serdang in the digital era in 2024. The use of digital technology, especially e-commerce, has significantly changed the business landscape, requiring MSMEs to adapt in order to maintain competitiveness. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to MSME actors in Deli Serdang who have adopted e-commerce. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and inferential statistics, including validity, reliability tests, and simple linear regression to determine the effect of the independent variable (e-commerce implementation) on the dependent variable (MSME marketing strategy). The results of the study are expected to provide a comprehensive picture of the contribution of e-commerce in strengthening MSME marketing strategies, as well as its implications for the development of MSMEs in Deli Serdang. These findings are expected to be a reference for local governments, MSME associations, and MSME actors themselves in formulating more effective policies and strategies in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak pelatihan kewirausahaan terhadap pemberdayaan masyarakat pedesaan di Desa Margo Mulyo, Kecamatan Rantau Pulung, Kabupaten Kutai Timur. Tujuan program ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam mengelola dan mengembangkan potensi ekonomi lokal melalui penerapan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kewirausahaan. Pelatihan mencakup topik-topik seperti perencanaan bisnis, strategi pemasaran, branding digital, dan literasi keuangan dasar. Pendekatan partisipatif digunakan, melibatkan warga setempat dalam workshop, simulasi, dan bimbingan langsung. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa peserta menunjukkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri, pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang konsep bisnis, dan motivasi yang lebih kuat untuk memulai atau meningkatkan usaha kecil. Beberapa peserta memulai pengembangan produk dan mendirikan usaha mikro setelah menyelesaikan pelatihan. Selain itu, program ini memfasilitasi kolaborasi antaranggota komunitas, menciptakan sistem dukungan yang berkontribusi pada pembangunan berkelanjutan. Tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi akses digital yang terbatas dan resistensi awal terhadap perubahan, yang diatasi melalui fasilitasi adaptif dan keterlibatan komunitas. Secara keseluruhan, temuan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan kewirausahaan dapat menjadi alat yang efektif untuk memberdayakan komunitas pedesaan, mendorong kemandirian, dan mempromosikan pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal. Studi ini merekomendasikan integrasi modul pelatihan serupa dalam inisiatif pengembangan pedesaan, terutama di daerah dengan kerentanan ekonomi tinggi. Program-program di masa depan juga harus mempertimbangkan bantuan tindak lanjut dan akses ke pasar untuk memaksimalkan hasil jangka panjang

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kinerja keuangan terhadap peningkatan laba pada perusahaan manufaktur sektor makanan dan minuman yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2020 hingga 2023. Kinerja keuangan diukur dengan indikator Return on Assets (ROA) dan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), sementara variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini adalah pertumbuhan laba. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan memanfaatkan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan. Sampel sebanyak 14 perusahaan dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. Metode analisis yang diterapkan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, ROA memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba. Hal serupa juga ditemukan pada DER yang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba. Secara simultan, kedua variabel tersebut berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan laba. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa kinerja keuangan memiliki peran yang cukup penting dalam mendorong pertumbuhan laba perusahaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh interaksi real-time dan Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) terhadap perilaku pembelian impulsif pengguna TikTok Live. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif melalui survei terhadap 100 responden berusia 17–30 tahun yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil uji validitas dan reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa instrumen penelitian telah memenuhi kriteria statistik. Pengujian asumsi klasik menyatakan bahwa data berdistribusi normal, bebas multikolinearitas, dan tidak terjadi heteroskedastisitas. Analisis regresi linear berganda menunjukkan bahwa interaksi real-time dan FOMO berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pembelian impulsif, baik secara simultan (uji F) maupun parsial (uji t). Koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,684 mengindikasikan bahwa kedua variabel independen mampu menjelaskan 68,4% variasi dalam perilaku pembelian impulsif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi pemasaran berbasis interaksi langsung dan urgensi digital melalui TikTok Live sangat efektif dalam memicu keputusan pembelian spontan pada konsumen muda.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of entrepreneurship training on the empowerment of rural communities in Margo Mulyo Village, Rantau Pulung Sub-District, East Kutai Regency. The objective of the programme was to enhance community capabilities in managing and developing local economic potential through the application of entrepreneurial knowledge and skills. The training covered topics such as business planning, marketing strategies, digital branding, and basic financial literacy. A participatory approach was used, involving local residents in workshops, simulations, and direct mentoring. The results indicate that participants demonstrated increased confidence, improved understanding of business concepts, and stronger motivation to start or improve small-scale enterprises. Several participantsinitiated product development and established microbusiness ventures after completing the training. Furthermore, the programme fostered collaboration among community members, creating a support system that contributes to sustainable development. Challenges encountered included limited digital access and initial resistance to change, which were mitigated through adaptive facilitation and community engagement. Overall, the findings suggest that entrepreneurship training can be an effective instrument for empowering rural communities, encouraging self-sufficiency, and promoting local economic growth. The study recommends the integration of similar training modules in rural development initiatives, particularly in areas with high economic vulnerability. Future programmes should also consider follow-up assistance and access to markets to maximise long-term outcomes.
