Abstract

In class XII IPS 3 at SMAN 1 Pagak, students display diverse learning styles, identified through their activity preferences such as listening to music, playing games, and browsing social media. Batik craft is a crucial subject, especially since students are required to create handwritten batik as part of their practical exam. However, the average score of students in this class is lower compared to other classes, and the teaching method relies solely on textbooks without incorporating technology in line with the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) approach. Classroom facilities such as Wi-Fi, projectors, and screens provide an opportunity for the development of a Website-based solution that accommodates various learning styles. The Website development follows Thiagarajan's 4D model, which includes four stages: define,Design, develop, and disseminate. Validation results from media experts show a feasibility score of 86.6% (very feasible), while subject matter experts gave a score of 87.5% (very feasible). A small group trial produced a score of 84.8% (very feasible) and an N-Gain value of 0.755 (very effective), demonstrating that the Website, which adapts to students’ learning styles, is effective in enhancing their understanding of batik craft material for class XII IPS 3 students at SMAN 1 Pagak

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Game-Based Learning (GBL) on students' learning motivation in the digital era. The research design applied is in the form of a literature review, which collects data from various relevant national and international journals. Game-Based Learning (GBL) is an innovative teaching method that integrates game elements to create interactive, enjoyable, and effective learning experiences. The results indicated that GBL enhances intrinsic motivation among students, promotes active engagement, and develops 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving. Tools such as Kahoot, Educandy, and Minecraft: Education Edition have been found to create an interactive and fun learning environment. The implementation of GBL is still hampered by issues such as the lack of technological infrastructures in schools and the lack of teacher training to integrate technology and games into the learning process in Indonesia. This study argues that overcoming these challenges will, therefore, make GBL effective in enhancing the quality of Indonesian education and in preparing children to face challenges in this digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the digital literacy development strategy in higher education institutions with a focus on three main aspects: (1) the digital literacy development strategy implemented, (2) the challenges faced in implementing the digital literacy program, and (3) the effectiveness of the program in improving students' ability to use technology critically and ethically. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study at a university in West Nusa Tenggara. Data were obtained through interviews with students, lecturers, and digital literacy program managers as well as analysis of relevant policy documents. The results of the study indicate that the strategies implemented include the integration of digital literacy into the curriculum, training for lecturers and students, and the development of technology infrastructure. However, the main challenges faced include limited infrastructure, lecturers' resistance to technology, and students' lack of critical and ethical understanding of using technology. The digital literacy program has proven effective in improving students' technical skills, but needs strengthening in the aspects of information evaluation and digital ethics. This study suggests the need for increased continuous training for lecturers, strengthening of technological infrastructure, and increasing student awareness of the importance of digital literacy holistically.
