. Motivation to learn is one aspect of supporting young women in pursuing education. However, there are teenage girls whose motivation to learn is influenced by the sexual violence they experience. The aim of the research is to determine the description of sexual violence, learning motivation and learning motivation factors among survivors of sexual violence in Makassar. This research is a qualitative phenomenological research. The research subjects were 3 female teenagers aged 20 – 22 years who were students in Makassar. Data was collected through an interview process which resulted in interview transcripts and voice recording documentation. The data that has been coded is then analyzed for the suitability of interpretation between the subject and the researcher. This research found that adolescent girls experience sexual violence in the family, school, campus and public places which has an impact on their physical, psychological, spiritual, learning processes and outcomes. However, teenagers continue to learn and overcome learning obstacles in order to fulfill their dreams and hopes. Factors that shape teenagers' learning motivation include internal factors and external factors. Internal factors are needs and aspirations, while external factors are social support from family and peers. It is hoped that this research will provide an understanding regarding learning motivation and the factors that shape learning motivation in female adolescent survivors of sexual violence. The conclusion of this research is that even though sexual violence has an impact on the physical and psychological impact of adolescent girls, adolescents still have good motivation to study because of the internal and external factors that support adolescents.

The phenomenon of body shaming behavior is still often found among the public, especially in early adult women. One of the factors that cause individuals to do body shaming is eating disorder behavior that makes individuals less satisfied with body shape and feel that they do not reach ideal standards. This study aims to determine the relationship of body shaming to the tendency of eating disorders in early adult women. The sample in this study was 350 early adult female subjects aged 18-25 years who were domiciled in Makassar City. The sample is obtained by filling out the scan link via google form. Data collection was carried out using two research instruments, namely the body shaming scale and the eating disorder tendency clause. Test the hypothesis using Wilcoxon Theta correlation analysis. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between body shaming and eating disorder tendencies in early adult women with a theta result of 0.536. That is, the higher the tendency to eating disorder, the higher the body shaming experienced by the subject.

So it is important to maintain psychological well-being through an optimistic mindset. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of optimism on psychological distress in students who are victims of body shaming. Sampling used an accidental sampling technique with a total of 120 respondents who were Makassar State University students who were victims of body shaming. Hypothesis testing was carried out using non-linear regression analysis methods with exponential models. The results of this research hypothesis test show that there is a negative and very significant influence between optimism and psychological distress (r=-0.628; p=0.000). The contribution of optimism to psychological distress among Makassar State University students who are victims of body shaming is 39.5%. Other findings in this research show that the three aspects of optimism, namely permanence, pervasiveness and personalization, have a negative correlation with the two aspects of psychological distress, namely depression and anxiety. The conclusion in this research is that optimism has an influence on psychological distress in students who are victims of body shaming. The higher the optimism possessed by students who experience body shaming, the lower the level of psychological distress.

The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The respondents in this study were 208 people who fell into the categorization of dominant democratic parenting styles. The data collection technique in this study used a Likert scale, namely the scale of democratic parenting and self-confidence. The results of simple regression analysis show that there is an effect of democratic parenting on self-confidence in adolescents with a significance value of 0.000, p <0.05. The Rsquare value in this study is 0.129 which indicates that the contribution of democratic parenting to self-confidence in adolescents is 12,9%. This illustrates that the more dominant democratic parenting is applied by parents, the higher the self-confidence that adolescents have. The conclusion of this research is that parents and teenagers are expected to be able to establish good communication so that teenagers are more optimistic and responsible for themselves.
