Jurnal Ilmiah Wahana Pendidikan (JIWP) Diterbitkan sebagai upaya untuk mempublikasikan hasil-hasil penelitian dan temuan di bidang pendidikan . Jurnal ini terbit 4 bulanan, yaitu bulan April, Agustus dan Desember. *Ruang Lingkup* Memuat hal kajian, analisis, dan penelitian tentang perancangan, pengembangan, pengelolaan, pemanfaatan, evaluasi, dan penelitian dalam bidang pendidikan yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan kinerja dan memfasilitasi belajar di lembaga pendidikan formal, non-formal dan informal serta lembaga-lembaga pelatihan. *Deskripsi* Jurnal Ilmiah Wahana Pendidikan merupakan media komunikasi ilmiah bagi dosen, guru, widyaiswara, mentor, mahasiswa, dan praktisi pendidikan lainnya serta pemerhati kependidikan. Jurnal ini dimaksudkan sebagai wadah untuk menyebarluaskan hasil kajian, pemikiran, penelitian, dan evaluasi yang relevan dengan kawasan pendidikan yakni perancangan, pengembangan, pengelolaan, pemanfaatan, evaluasi dan penelitian dalam bidang pendidikan, pembelajaran dan evaluasi. Artikel yang diterima dan diproses oleh redaksi adalah artikel secara substansi berhubungan dengan kawasan pendidikan.

Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini ialah Bagaimana bentuk alih kode dan campur kode pada novel dalam dialog Novel Melbourne Rewind karya Winna Efendi, Faktor apa saja yang dapat mempengaruhi terjadinya alih kode dan campur kode dalam dialog Novel Melbourne Rewind karya Winna Efendi. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan dikaji berdasarkan kajian sosiolinguistik. Menggunakan metode analisis. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah Novel Melbourne Rewind karya Winna Efendi. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa dialog percakapan para tokoh dalam tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian yang telah dibuat dapat disimpulkan, bahwa bentuk penyampaian alih kode dan campur kode terdiri dari faktor yang mempengaruhi alih kode dalam bahasa Indonesia pada Novel Melbourne Rewind karya Winna Efendi melibatkan pemakaian dua bahasa, yaitu bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris sebagai kode utama, dan wujud alih kode dari bahasa Indonesia pada Novel Melbourne Rewind karya Winna Efendi antara lain: (1) Alih kode dari bahasa Indonesia ke dalam bahasa Inggris; (2) Alih kode dari bahasa Inggris ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Sama halnya dengan alih kode yang tedapat dua bahasa pada novelnya, hasil campur kode, terdiri dari faktor penyebab terjadinya peristiwa campur kode dalam bahasa Indonesia melibatkan pemakaian dua bahasa yaitu (1) Terdapat tuturan campur kode dalam dialog Novel Melbourne Rewind karya Winna Efendi yaitu kalimat yang menggunakan bahasa Indonesia dicampur dengan beberapa kata bahasa Inggris. (2) Terdapat tuturan campur kode dalam dialog Novel Melbourne Rewind karya Winna Efendi yaitu kalimat yang menggunakan bahasa Inggris dicampur dengan beberapa kata bahasa Indonesia.

This research aims to improve the Indonesian language learning outcomes of class IV students at Perumnas Uluindano Tomohon through a problem based learning model on the sub-theme Me and My Dreams, a classroom action research method, which consists of planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The research subjects were fourth grade students at SD Inpres Perumnas Uluindano. Data analysis techniques are tests and observations. The research results showed that the achievement in cycle I was 58.5% and in cycle II the results achieved were 84.5%. It can be concluded that the application of the problem based learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects in the material Me and My Dreams which can be seen in student learning outcomes in cycle I only reaching 58.5% so it does not meet the KKM and increases in cycle II to 84 .5% so that it meets the KKM criteria

The aim of the research is to improve science learning outcomes through the Picture and Picture learning model in class II of SD Inpres Perumnas Uluindano. The research method is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research subjects are all class II. This research was carried out in two cycles. Data collection techniques in this research are observation and tests. Data analysis to determine student learning outcomes, whether they have met the criteria for learning completeness or not. The results of the research by applying the Picture and Picture model in science learning showed that the achievement in cycle I was 58.5% and the achievement in cycle II was 84.5%. Based on the results from cycle I to cycle II, it turns out there has been an increase. The conclusion of the research is that the application of the Picture and Picture model can improve student learning outcomes in science subjects in class II of SD Inpres Perumnas Uluindano. It is recommended that the application of the Picture and Picture model can be a reference material for teachers to improve student learning outcomes and can be applied as a learning model that can be used in science teaching and learning activities.

The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes in social studies subjects through a Make A Match based learning model. This research uses the Classroom Action Research Method (PTK) which consists of planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The subjects of this research were class V students at Saronsong State Elementary School with a total of 13 students, consisting of 9 boys and 4 girls. Data collection techniques are written tests and observations. This research was carried out in 2 cycles. The research results showed that the first cycle achieved 64.23% learning completeness, and the second cycle reached 85.38%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Make A Match model can improve student learning outcomes in social studies subjects on types of economic activities.

This research aims to find out how the Direct Instruction model is used to improve Narrative essay writing skills in class IV students at SDN Bintau. One of the problems faced is that students still have difficulty writing narrative essays. This is because teachers do not guide students enough in compiling narrative essays, and do not use innovative learning models. This researcher used the Class Action Method (PTK) which consists of Planning, Implementation, Observation, Reflection. The research subjects were fourth grade students at SDN Bintau. Data analysis techniques are written tests and observations. This research was carried out in two cycles. The research results show that the application of the direct instruction model can improve narrative essay writing skills in fourth grade students at SDN Bintau. The increase in students' attitudes/activity during the learning process of narrative essay writing skills increased from the initial condition of being in the poor category, in cycle II to being in the good category. The increase in the average value of narrative essay writing skills in cycle I was 62.85% and in cycle II it increased by 91.42%. It can be concluded that the application of the Direct Instruction model can improve Narrative Essay Writing Skills in class IV students at SDN Bintau.

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Literacy Program in Building Reading Characters for grade V students of SD Negeri 49 Ternate City and its supporting and inhibiting factors. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study was conducted at SD Negeri 49 Ternate City with observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques. The results show that the literacy program has been implemented since 2017 but has not run optimally. The stages of the program include habituation, development, and learning. Supporting factors include libraries, reading corners, motivational posters, and infrastructure facilities such as literacy huts and gazebos. However, inhibiting factors include students who are not fluent in reading and teacher delays in entering class that hinder reading literacy activities

This research aims to explore the role of learning media in improving student learning achievement at MTs Negeri 2 Sula Islands. In this context, learning media is considered a vital tool that enables the learning process to be more effective and interactive. The research background highlights the complexity of learning challenges, including loss of student focus, boredom with teaching methods, and lack of use of modern learning media. Based on Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, this research identifies the importance of linking theory with practice in learning, as well as how teachers can choose, prepare and use learning media effectively. Through descriptive qualitative research methods, the research results underline the importance of learning media in creating an interesting and enjoyable learning environment for students. A thorough analysis of these aspects paves the way to better learning strategies and creates meaningful learning experiences for students. This research provides in-depth insight into the complexity of student learning and provides a rich view of the integration of learning media in improving student learning achievement in educational environments

This study aims to evaluate teachers' creativity in utilizing learning media at SMA Negeri 7 Kepulauan Sula. In this context, learning media is an important tool to enhance the effectiveness of learning and overcome learning challenges. Various previous studies have shown that teachers' creativity in utilizing learning media has a positive impact on students' learning outcomes. The research method used is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach, involving observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data analysis is conducted using qualitative data analysis techniques, with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusion drawing. The conclusions of this study are expected to provide useful input for schools and students in improving the utilization of learning media as teaching materials.

It is recognized that efforts to break the dichotomy between values and science philosophically has received great attention from scientists, not only from the group itself, but also from religious group, especially after realizing the negative impact of scientific progress today with all its derivatives. However in this paper the writer studies from the perspective of learning methodology. This aspect is very crucial since science and religion could be integrated successfully when there is a valid and proper learning methodology. Through a study of science and value characteristic, integration between science and value is possible to be conducted. Therefore, methodology of learning which supports the integration of science and values can be done in some approaches and methods. They are strategy of learning, model of reflective learning, and model of collective decision making learning.

Abstract : Colleges have a very important role in forming student’s character with the aim of preparing students as the younger generation to enter the world of work, the community environment, and the future to have the character of Indonesian citizens based on Christian theology. There are many problems that arise every day in Indonesia which cause moral degradation of the younger generation. Sometimes, not all colleges pay attention to students’ character education with the assumption that character education is the duty and responsibility of parents, colleges have no interest in forming character, and there are limited methods in build the character. For this reason, how to produce effective character formation for Christian students, one of the implementations of character education is through Citizenship Education while remaining based on theology. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach to literature study. The results of this research are that the formation of student character plays a very important role as an effort to prepare Christian students to live as citizens and achieve a good future. Through citizenship education based on Christian theology, it can help forming students’ character.
