Abstract

This research aims to describe the description of hermeneutics as a model of scientific research, development of humanities sciences, and as a research method in religious sciences. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach. Then analyzed descriptively. The results of the research show that hermeneutics emerged a long time ago during ancient Greek civilization and was more dominant in activities in understanding the holy scriptures, but in its development, it could reach the humanities and religious sciences. Apart from that, it also acts as a bridge to bring together hermeneutical theory with qualitative empirical research as well as symbols that are difficult for humans to understand in the phenomena of the universe. Therefore, the science of hermeneutics can interpret and express the meaning of texts by considering the social, cultural, and historical context. And of course, this is very useful in uncovering Divine messages through scripture texts which still need explanation so that you don't misapply God's teachings.

Abstract

Humans as God's creatures are designed to have goals and directions in life that are not created just like that, but duties and responsibilities must be carried out. In the view of education, humans are learning beings and the learning process includes various aspects and values that live and continue to develop until the end of life. Therefore, this article seeks to examine the process of value internalization viewed from the perspective of Islamic education as a whole. Articles written using a qualitative approach with the method of literature study and data analysis are described descriptively. The results of the study explain that the internalization of values can occur with education by the human himself or with assistance from other people as external parties. The stages of value internalization are carried out in three stages: value transformation, value transaction, and transinternalization. As for the values instilled, namely the values of ma'rifatullah, Abdullah, akhlakul karimah towards oneself (gentle, holding back anger, sincere, and competing in goodness), towards the family (birrul walidain, living, etc.), towards others (helping each other, not doing damage that can harm other people, etc.), national character, religious character.

Abstract

This research explores the effectiveness of problem-based learning (PBL) with Google Sites in improving concept comprehension and reducing math anxiety among 36 class X students at SMA N 1 Sewon. Following Kemmis and Mc Taggart's model, the study consisted of two cycles, each with two meetings. Data collection involved observation sheets, concept tests, and anxiety questionnaires. The success criteria were set at over 70% of students achieving high concept understanding and low anxiety. Results indicate significant improvements in both areas. Between pre-action and cycle I, students' understanding increased by 65.97%, with a further 40.28% increase between cycles I and II. The anxiety decreased by 7.73% and 9.03% between the respective periods. By cycle II, 83.33% of students demonstrated high concept understanding, and 80.56% reported low anxiety, meeting the success criteria. This suggests that PBL with Google Sites effectively enhances concept comprehension and reduces math anxiety among class X students.

Abstract

The game of Monopoly has proven to be an effective and engaging learning tool for children. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for first-grade elementary school students, developing a modified version of the Monopoly game focusing on the concepts of the Five Pillars of Islam and the Six Pillars of Faith could be an innovative and enjoyable way to introduce these concepts to students. The game board will be designed with various locations representing the Five Pillars of Islam and the Six Pillars of Faith, the Quran. Each location will present questions or tasks designed to reinforce students' understanding of these concepts. Players will choose characters associated with Islamic figures and move around the board, answering questions, and performing tasks related to the Five Pillars of Islam and the Six Pillars of Faith. Through active interaction with the learning material, it is hoped that students can strengthen their understanding of the basic principles of Islam. The goal of this game is to stimulate students' interest in learning PAI, introduce the concepts of the Five Pillars of Islam and the Six Pillars of Faith in a fun way, and build their understanding of the values of Islam. Thus, this Monopoly game is expected to be an effective tool in helping first-grade elementary school students understand the basic concepts of Islam while enhancing their engagement and interest in learning PAI.

Abstract

This research article aims to summarize the results of research related to smart apps creator (SAC) as an interactive learning medium so that it becomes a reference for educators who want to implement SAC into learning. The method used is a literature review sourced from national and international journals, and scientific articles from the conference proceedings. There are four focuses of discussion in this article, namely (1) The viewpoint according to learners in using SAC learning media, (2) The advantages and disadvantages of SAC as a learning medium, (3) The process of compiling materials into SAC applications with the ADDIE development model, and (4) The appropriateness of SAC as an interactive learning media. The findings from existing research show that educators must pay attention to the needs of students in learning activities because they need devices with a lot of RAM storage and teachers must buy licenses.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the effect of animated video media on students' creative thinking in IPAS learning. This research uses pre-experimental design method with Pre-Experimental Design research type and static group comparison design. This design involves two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. Therefore, two tests were conducted, namely pretest (O1) and posttest (O2). In the validation test, five questions met or exceeded the r-table number. The reliability test produced a figure of 0.916 which exceeded 0.70, proving that the results of this test were reliable. After the validity and reliability tests, testing was carried out again on five questions that met the r-table, which was carried out twice, namely the pretest and posttest. The pretest and posttest results were tested again with an average minimum value of 62.16, a median of 60.00, and an overall value of 6216. Normality test using One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test showed results > 0.05. The homogeneity test shows the same number which is > 0.005. In the t test using the independent samples test, the group statistic shows an average pretest of 55.84 and posttest of 68.48. Independent samples test obtained a significance value of 0.608, proving that the pretest and posttest are homogeneous. The difference between the two is -12.640, indicating that the pretest < posttest, so the animation media has an influence on students' creative thinking in elementary school..

Abstract

The educational framework in Aceh exists within a broader national system, yet lacks a unified conceptual foundation to guide its various stakeholders. Instead, disparate visions operate in isolation, often left unrealized. A deeper philosophical approach is needed—one that fosters a dynamic and integrated model of education capable of cultivating competent and professional individuals. The overlap and indistinct boundaries between institutions further blur the path to innovation, reinforcing structural inefficiencies. A truly holistic system must transcend the conventional divisions between secular and religious education, creating a seamless integration of knowledge that embodies a higher universal principle. This calls for an overarching governance structure—an entity that dissolves institutional dichotomies and redefines management under a singular, cohesive vision. The persistence of dual systems has perpetuated fragmentation, hindering the holistic development of Aceh’s youth. To move forward, a synthesis of curriculum, policy, and resource allocation must be embraced, uniting all aspects of education under a singular, purpose-driven paradigm.

Abstract

Chemistry is a science that studies a deep understanding of something abstract and complex so in studying chemistry there are often many misconceptions. Hydrocarbon material is one of the topics in chemistry that requires a deep understanding therefore, misconceptions about hydrocarbon material have a high percentage of possibility. Misconceptions in basic materials have a sustainable impact thus, the author conducted a study by analyzing the misconceptions of students of SMA NEGERI 6 Kota Serang on hydrocarbon material, This study aims to identify the level of student understanding of hydrocarbon material and the causes of misconceptions in students. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with an instrument in the form of a four-tier multiple- choice diagnostic test. The number of samples used in this study was 37 students who were class XI students majoring in chemistry. Data were obtained by giving questions in the form of a diagnostic test of 15 questions and a questionnaire to students. After being analyzed, data was obtained on students who understood the concept 26%, had misconceptions 41%, and did not understand the concept 33%. The factors causing misconceptions are that hydrocarbons have an abstract and complex concept (1), learning methods that are less effective in conveying concepts (2), a lack of interesting and interactive learning media (3), and assessments that only focus on memorization and do not measure students' understanding of concepts periodically.
