Abstract

The phenomenon of truck bed painting has encouraged the author to further recognize it through field research conducted personally between 2016 and 2017 through the holding of a truck modification contest held by the Malang Truck Community (KMT). Currently, the community has implemented digital printing techniques as a new technique that has never been used by other artists or other truck communities. The visualization technique that was initially painted manually has now shifted to digital printing techniques that have succeeded in cutting costs to be cheaper, faster in the process, increasing the number of orders every day. The research question is how does diffusion-innovation occur in truck bed painting? The purpose of the research is to describe in detail the results of the study of diffusion and innovation that describe the tendency to use elements typical of local culture in truck bed visuals and create works of art that become an integral part of the identity of the community that uses them. Qualitative research methods using data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and visual analysis as well as deepening other relevant findings. Then determine the research participants, such as truck artists, truck owners, members of the Malang Truck Community (KTM) or local communities. Selecting a representative sample that covers various aspects of visual innovation in the context of the development of truck painting art. The results of the study found that there had been a process of innovation diffusion in truck bed painting art in the Malang Truck Community (KTM) where through visual aspects it was able to communicate ideas, messages, and meanings that encouraged the spread of new technology, new ideas, and new policy perspectives in an area where the truck community carried out a sustainable creative process.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of various leadership styles on Islamic boarding school management through a meta-analysis and systematic review approach. In this research, data was collected from various studies related to transformational, transactional, charismatic, participative and autocratic leadership styles applied in Islamic boarding schools. The results of the analysis show that the transformational leadership style has proven to be the most effective in increasing students' motivation and self-development, while the transactional style focuses more on discipline and operational efficiency. The charismatic style is able to motivate students, but needs to be balanced with the development of other aspects of leadership to avoid excessive dependence. The participatory style increases students' sense of responsibility and loyalty, although it requires more time and effort to implement. An autocratic leadership style is more effective in contexts that require strict structure and discipline, but can reduce creativity and initiative. This research concludes that an adaptive combination of various leadership styles is needed to create an environment that is conducive to the development of students and improve the performance of Islamic boarding schools as a whole.

Abstract

Madrasa Principal policy management is a fundamental aspect in developing the quality of Islamic education which is currently facing complex challenges in the era of globalization and digital transformation. This research aims to identify effective policy management models for madrasah principals through a systematic literature review and meta-analysis approach. Using the PRISMA protocol, from the initial 35,276 articles, five high-quality articles were obtained for in-depth analysis. The research results show four main patterns in the policy management of madrasah principals: transition from top-down to collaborative approaches, integration of technology, emphasis on crisis management, and recognition of the emotional dimension. Meta-analysis shows that technology integration (effect size 0.76) and collaborative policy making (effect size 0.72) have the strongest influence on organizational effectiveness, while crisis management (0.48) and emotional leadership (0.53) show moderate influences. Overall, madrasah principal policy management had a significant positive impact (combined effect size 0.63) with moderate-high heterogeneity (I² = 68.7%). This research recommends developing an integrative policy management model that combines a collaborative approach with the use of technology, as well as expanding capacity development programs for madrasah heads that focus on crisis management skills and emotional intelligence.
