Abstract

Digital literacy is defined as a person's ability to use computer devices to access various information in the digital space. Digital literacy is the ability to use information and communication technology. In addition, digital literacy is also defined as the ability to understand and use information in various formats and from various sources that are available everywhere. Social media is one form of digital technology development. Using social media has now become a daily lifestyle for the community, social media is not only used as entertainment but also used as a support for people's lives, exchanging messages, socializing with friends or relatives, studying, working, channeling talents, and can also be a forum for social activities carried out without the need to meet face to face. Based on the observations and results of the KKN FIP Ubhara Jaya Students carried out in the Renzo Edupark Cibadak Sukabumi area from October 24 to November 24, 2022, it was found that in the Renzo Edupark environmental area many elementary school students use social media as a means of entertainment and seeking information, but there are several problems that become the main focus so that the main background of this community service is carried out, namely; (1) they are not yet able to sort and choose which info is true and which is not, (2) they also have no restrictions in using social media, they can freely access pornographic content, violent content, and other non-educational content, so it is feared that this will become a threat to them in the future. For this reason, in this community service, there are 2 things that become the main focus to be socialized to elementary school students in the Renzo Edupark Cibadak Sukabumi area, (1) Socialization of digital literacy related to the importance of digital literacy in 21st century life so that students are not left behind by technological developments, and (2) Socialization of how to use good and correct social media to get various information and filter the content accessed by elementary school students. The output target of this abdimas is the publication of articles published in accredited national journals

Abstract

The livestock sector is the most important factor in supporting food security to support sustainable development in Indonesia. The livestock sector is one of the sub-sectors which is a driving force for development, especially in rural areas. Goats are livestock that are widely kept and are well known by the Indonesian people. People like to breed goats because their body size is not too big. Goat farming has an important role in Indonesian livestock as a meat producer to meet domestic needs, and also has the potential to supply the export market. Marketing of goats is very wide open, however there are several problems faced by farmers, namely, the quality of goats is influenced by the type of nutrition/fodder provided and the type of goat itself. Goat farming for rural communities is a side job, but it is mandatory, looking at the condition of the community in Toari District, Kolaka Regency, which shows that every household has at least 7 goats. By increasing the capacity to capture business opportunities for goat breeders, goat breeders can increase their income

Abstract

The laying hen farming business is one of the businesses that has great potential to be developed in North Konawe Regency, considering that the need for eggs from the people of North Konawe Regency is quite high. The supply and demand for eggs is sometimes unbalanced where demand is higher, so that to meet the need for eggs, the people of North Konawe Regency have to import from outside the district and province. The growth of the laying hen farming business in North Konawe Regency is a positive thing for the regional economy, but on the other hand, laying hen breeders have relatively not looked at the other side of the laying hen farming business. Farmers only focus on the core business, namely producing as many eggs as possible, so the side products of the laying hen farming business are relatively sidelined. Side products can increase the income of laying hen farmers if managed well, but so far farmers have not realized that there are several products that can become side products from laying hen farms. Several problems related to the problems faced by laying hen farmers in North Konawe Regency, namely; Firstly, knowledge of laying hen breeders regarding the benefits and advantages of side products from livestock businesses is still relatively lacking. Second, the knowledge or ability of laying hen breeders in managing side products from the laying hen farming business is relatively minimal. Third, the marketing of various side products from the laying hen farming business is relatively not well segmented. This activity was carried out in Bendewuta Village, Oheo District, North Konawe Regency with 21 participants attending, consisting of laying hen breeders and the community. The resulting activity achievements are (1). Increased understanding of laying hen breeders about the benefits or advantages of managing Side Products of laying hens. (2). Increasing the knowledge (capacity) understanding of laying hen breeders so that they are able to manage or utilize side products of laying hens. (3). Increasing the ability to market side products from laying hen farming businesses.
