Abstract

Stunting is a condition of growth failure in children under five due to chronic malnutrition, especially in the first 1,000 days of life, which is from the fetus in the womb until the child is two years old. Children who are stunted have a height below the age standard and are at risk of experiencing obstacles to cognitive, motor, and academic achievement in the future. Based on data from various health surveys, the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia is still at an alarming level, although it has shown a decline in recent years. The causes of stunting are complex and multidimensional, including lack of nutritional intake, unbalanced diets, poor sanitation, recurrent infections, and low levels of education and knowledge of mothers about child health and nutrition. The problem of stunting must be addressed seriously through a cross-sectoral approach involving the government, community, health workers, and families. Efforts to prevent and manage stunting should focus on specific and sensitive nutrition interventions, enhancing the quality of maternal and child health services, improving environmental sanitation, and promoting sustainable nutrition education. This community service activity aims to implement community midwifery care, which involves identifying problems, determining problem priorities, developing follow-up plans, implementing planned interventions, and evaluating the activities that have been This community service begins with FGDs to collect information on maternal and child problems. Priority problems are then selected based on the scale, and efforts are made to address stunting issues through education, demonstrations of preparing nutritious food using moringa leaves, and training parents and posyandu cadres in massaging children to stimulate weight growth. Intervention activities, including infant massage and supplementary feeding (PMT), were conducted over 4 weeks for 30 infants aged 6-12 months with growth disorders (BB/U < U <-2 SD). The monitoring results showed positive changes in both physical development and psychological responses of the infants. Following the implementation of the intervention, a notable change in body weight was observed, with an average weight gain of 400 grams over 4 weeks. Appetite Improvement: Based on the infant's mother's report, 76.7% of infants showed an increase in appetite after receiving a combination of infant massage and PMT.  Motor and Psychological Development; Observations showed that infants who were regularly massaged showed improvement in fine and gross motor activities, such as rolling over, sitting up, and crawling. Parents also reported that infants seemed more relaxed, slept better, and cried less. Maternal Satisfaction and Acceptance Level: 90% of mothers were satisfied with the infant massage activities and stated that they would continue this practice at home. Additionally, 85% of mothers reported that the PMT provided was readily accepted by toddlers and practical to prepare at home. Community service, in the form of baby massage training for parents with toddlers and demonstrations of the production of moringa leaf-based personal care products (PMP), has a positive impact. Cadres and mothers are capable of comprehending the material and posing inquiries with enthusiasm. Understanding how to do child massage, mothers of toddlers also said they were happy because, later, they could easily practice cooking a Moringa Leaf Egg Omelet, which tasted good and had high nutritional value for children

Abstract

This program focuses on enhancing tax compliance and literacy among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, specifically targeting Bulak Village in Indramayu. MSMEs play a crucial role in the country's economy, contributing 61% of the GDP and providing 97% of employment. However, a significant gap exists in tax knowledge and compliance, with only a small fraction of MSMEs possessing a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP). This community service project aims to address these gaps by offering training and mentorship to MSME actors on tax regulations, financial reporting, and compliance with Indonesian tax laws. The program follows a structured approach based on goal-setting theory, consisting of phases such as goal setting, planning, training, and evaluation. By improving the financial literacy and tax awareness of MSME owners, the project fosters a sustainable and compliant business environment. The results highlight the importance of continued collaboration between local authorities, financial institutions, and educational institutions to enhance MSME support, ensuring better compliance and encouraging the use of digital tax tools for long-term growth and sustainability.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance the competence of economics teachers who are members of the economics subject teachers’ forum of senior high schools in Kudus Regency through the implementation of Accurate Online features, particularly the fixed assets, cash/bank, and general journal modules. The background of this program lies in the limited understanding of teachers regarding modern accounting software and the insufficient integration of technology in accounting instruction, which has so far relied more on theoretical explanations and traditional practices without utilizing web-based applications. The activity was conducted in August 2025 through four stages: preparation, training and mentoring in the use of Accurate Online, resolution of technical issues encountered by teachers, and evaluation of implementation. The results indicated a significant improvement in teachers’ ability to operate Accurate Online, the achievement of Certified Accurate Professional certification by participants, and an increase in technological accounting knowledge applicable in the learning process. Mastery of Accurate Online features is expected to support teachers in delivering accounting instruction that is more modern, practical, and aligned with industry needs.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has provided a great opportunity to revolutionize the world of education, especially in supporting more interactive, adaptive, and effective learning. However, at the school level, the understanding and utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) among educators or teachers remain very limited. Yet, technological literacy, including the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), is an essential skill for addressing the challenges of education in the digital age. This community service program aims to enhance students' technological literacy through the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Google Suite-based learning. This activity will provide training on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) features in Google Suite, such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides, which can be used to support the learning process. Educators or teachers will learn to optimize Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to enhance productivity, creativity, and collaboration skills in various academic and professional contexts. The targeted outcomes include improving the skills of educators or teachers in using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for technology-based learning, the availability of digital training modules containing practical guidelines for integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Google Suite, and the formation of a sustainable technology-based learning community that can serve as a model for other educational institutions.

Abstract

This community service project aims to develop natural dyes (sustainability materials) to support the wayang puppet painting process as a rebranding strategy for the artisan community in Gendeng Hamlet, Bangunjiwo, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The implementation method involves a series of activities carried out through a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, involving artisans, academics, and facilitators. The stages include training, mentoring, exploration of local materials (such as Indigofera leaves, tingi bark, and turmeric), and applied trials on wayang puppets. The results of the activities showed an increase in the artisans' capacity in natural dye extraction and application techniques, more aesthetically pleasing and environmentally friendly visual quality of wayang, and the formation of a new community identity with the branding “Wayang Warna Alam” (Natural Color Wayang). This innovation not only increases the added value of wayang products but also strengthens cultural and ecological sustainability and opens up market opportunities in the context of the creative economy.

Abstract

Student entrepreneurs are a strategic group that plays a crucial role in creating economic independence and new jobs in the future. However, many lack adequate financial management skills. Unplanned financial management, mixing personal and business finances, and a lack of understanding of business legality often hinder the sustainability of student businesses. This community service activity aims to enhance financial literacy and knowledge of business law for student entrepreneurs, enabling them to secure decent work and contribute to sustainable economic growth. The program partners are active students who have or are currently running independent businesses. The main challenges faced are poor business financial management skills and the lack of formal legality due to the absence of a Business Identification Number (BIN). The implementation method included practice-based online training and simulation mentoring using the Online Single Submission (OSS) system. The activity took place on August 8, 2025, via Zoom Meeting and was attended by 22 participants. The results showed an increase in participants' understanding of transaction recording, preparing simple financial reports, and awareness of the importance of business legality. Several participants have also successfully registered for their NIB independently. This activity makes a significant contribution to strengthening the capacity of students as young entrepreneurs who are professional, competitive, and contribute to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 8SDG.

Abstract

The slopes of Mount Muria in Kudus Regency are known as one of the regions producing high-quality coffee. Coffee is a leading commodity that is utilized by the local community through various MSME activities. Several MSMEs, such as Kopi Kunci and Kopi Joesoen, have developed processed robusta coffee beans into ground coffee, marketed under local brands. However, some production processes are still carried out manually, resulting in suboptimal efficiency and productivity. To address this problem, the community service team from Muria Kudus University implemented a program to Strengthen Muria Coffee MSMEs through the Implementation of Digital Roaster Machines. The implementation of these two machines is designed to increase efficiency, production capacity, and the quality of processed coffee. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in MSME productivity and turnover, 10-fold compared to conditions before the machines were implemented. This activity is expected to strengthen the competitiveness of Muria coffee MSMEs, improve the welfare of business actors, and have a positive economic impact on the surrounding community.
