Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the concept of revitalizing the paradigm of Islamic education based in Islamic epistemology. This study employs a literature review methodology, involving the examination of data from diverse sources, including books, articles, scholarly works, and notes, to establish a theoretical foundation and gather pertinent information regarding the paradigm of education grounded in Islamic epistemology. The study's results reveal that Islamic education is predominantly dogmatic and enamored with historical aesthetics, rendering it less competitive than Western educational institutions that have successfully adapted to contemporary difficulties. Conversely, Islamic education has failed to adapt to the demands of contemporary industrial and technological civilization. In this framework, Islamic education must be a fundamental theme in the story of the future rebirth of Islamic thought. Islamic education must serve as the “core” that imbues the essence of renewal inside Islamic philosophy, enabling it to evolve and advance dynamically and gradually. Consequently, it is essential to establish a novel paradigm of Islamic education by integrating Islamic principles with modern educational concepts. This approach entails embracing contemporary education originating from the West while integrating essential principles of Islamic teachings into the revised educational framework. The epistemology of Islamic education can integrate Western philosophical epistemology with Islamic principles, as well as Islamic idealism epistemology with practical research.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to comprehend the process of incorporating music into the Qashîdah Burdah within the context of Islamic education. The employed methodology is literature review. The integration of Qashîdah Burdah into Islamic education can be categorized as part of the nasyîd genre, which includes religious advice (tawâshih dîniyyah), religious qasidahs (qashâ'id dîniyyah), birthday texts (mawlid), prayer texts (ibtihâlat), religious stories (qishshah dîniyyah), dhikr, and religious songs (aghâny dîniyyah). other forms of religious oral literature have been disseminated to the public through live presentations and other media platforms, either independently or in conjunction with each other. The nasyîd genres are essentially musical interpretations of Arabic poetry and prose that include pleas to God and expressions of praise for the Prophet Muhammad, employing eloquent language. Utilizing Qashîdah Burdah as a musical form in Islamic education can serve as a means to impart character qualities and foster the development of children's personalities, promoting maturity, stability, and steadfastness.

Abstract

Human beings possess legal rights, preferences, and philanthropic endeavors, which provide the foundation of the concept of humanizing education under humanist learning theory. Nevertheless, numerous educators in Indonesia continue to eschew a humanist approach in their pedagogy, thereby constraining the development of students' capabilities through authoritarian regulations. This study highlights these issues and emphasizes the necessity of humanist education in fostering constructive interactions between educators and learners. The humanist method prioritizes teacher empathy, fostering an effective and inclusive educational environment. The article examines the notion of humanism in Islam by analyzing Qur'anic passages. This research is descriptive qualitative, employing a philosophical method and maudhu'i interpretation. The findings indicated that the Qur'an encompasses humanist principles that advocate for a comprehensive approach to education. This research enhances the comprehension of humanistic education within Islam by demonstrating the alignment of humanistic values in the Qur'an with the tenets of Islamic education. The recognition of moral responsibility, commitment to lifelong learning, and reverence for human dignity constitute the fundamental principles for a comprehensive and development-focused education of the entire individual, aligned with Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This study seeks to identify ways for the internalization of religious ideals and morals in early life. This study employs a literature review methodology, which entails the critical analysis of data obtained from various literary materials, including novels, journals, and scientific publications. The study's findings demonstrate that Islamic teachings regard early childhood education as a crucial element in cultivating robust religious ethics and ideals. In this context, eleven successful tactics have been found, including fostering a sense of love for Allah, establishing a sense of security, and promoting environmental observation. These tactics, grounded in the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad and endorsed by Muslim authorities, can be executed by educators and parents. The surrounding environment, including family and classmates, significantly influences the development of children's character. A holistic approach encompasses a concealed curriculum that reinforces religious beliefs and ethics in early life via exemplification, appreciation for diversity, environmental stewardship within schools, and disciplinary practices that align with the moral objectives of education.

Abstract

This study seeks to contextualize Islamic Religious Education and its significance in addressing the era of social transition. This study employs a qualitative methodology utilizing library research. Data gathering methods involve sourcing information from notes, transcripts, books, scientific journals, articles, papers, websites, documents, and scholarly works pertinent to the topic of discussion. Data analysis techniques employ content analysis, a scientific method for examining and deriving conclusions from documents or texts. The study's results indicate that contextualization involves situating an element within its context, thereby enhancing comprehension beyond mere literal interpretations to encompass the impact of historical, cultural, psychological, and political circumstances surrounding the text's inception. Contextual comprehension is crucial in addressing issues that emerge from significant societal transformations in the contemporary day. This urgency is evident in the objectives and functions of contextualizing Islamic Religious Education. Contextualization seeks to foresee contemporary issues, forecast meanings deemed pertinent for the future, and establish the relationship between the text of the Qur'an and its applications. The purpose of contextual knowledge is to elucidate the meaning of religious writings foundational to Islamic Religious Education, safeguard against misinterpretations, facilitate novel interpretations, and provide solutions to navigate the complexities inherent in religious texts.

Abstract

This article elaborates on the concept of multiple intelligences from an Islamic education perspective. This study uses a literature review method, where researchers conduct a study of literature or literature relevant to the concept of multiple intelligences. The results of the research show that the perspective of Islamic education, multiple intelligences have a strong connection between the educational process and multiple intelligences because Islamic education, in the realm of theory, has humanized humans by emphasizing that every human being has their characteristics or potential, which if developed optimally, it will produce advanced, successful and superior humans. Humans with superior abilities can use them for the benefit of the populace. It is by the multiple intelligence perspective, which states that every human being is intelligent and no human being is stupid because every human has nine intelligence categories. Which type of intelligence will develop optimally depends on a person's innate abilities, and the methods or approaches used in education must be appropriate to that type of intelligence. Many contemporary alternative learning models can be applied to maximize students' intelligence in an Islamic education environment.
