Abstract

The era of the Education Revolution 4.0 has now been felt and become a part of the education process and has an impact on the action of realizing teacher professionalism. About educational issues, as stated above, the purpose of implementing this article is to provide knowledge and skills for teachers in making classroom action research reports so that they can increase their professionalism. The method of this training activity is carried out by lectures, discussions, questions, and answers, and mentoring. This activity was attended by 24 participants from elementary school teachers throughout the city of Surabaya who had filled out the online registration (google form). The result of this training was that teachers knowledge and skills increased and could lead to the realization of professional teachers. This can be seen from the results of the training evaluation data analysis, which overall participants rated this activity in the outstanding category with a score range of 55-64. The training materials that the participants have mastered are good practice in classroom learning, the nature of classroom action research reports, writing classroom action research reports, and disseminating classroom action research reports. Mentoring is done by reviewing class action research reports from participants and providing feedback for improvements. Dissemination by submitting relevant educational journals and classroom action research journals for the trainees.

Abstract

In the development of the era, teachers are required to improve competence, especially in terms of learning about digital literacy. The role of teachers is very important in creating a teaching and learning process that is following the demands of revolution 4.0. In the learning process, teachers can use the internet-based e-learning method. E-learning is a learning method that utilizes web-based information technology (IT) that can be accessed remotely so that the learning done is not only glued in the classroom and within certain hours but can still be done anytime and anywhere. Ujung Batu Subdistrict Rokan Hulu has sixteen public elementary schools scattered in various from in Ujung Batu Subdistrict. Based on the observations, elementary school teachers in Ujung Batu Subdistrict still do not use the Internet to the maximum in the learning process. Teachers use limited media and learning resources. This is due to lack of information and lack of facilities The purpose of this devotion is to increase knowledge and insight into the innovation of e-learning based learning for teachers of SD Negeri Ujung Batu can be done through training activities in the application of Google meet, Google classroom and Zoom applicated. This activity was attended by 20 people in the teachers of SD Negeri Ujung Batu with the implementation method of devotion using lecture methods, questions and answers, and simulations. The results of this dedication show that (1) the trainees know the use of e-learning application Platform, (2) The trainees already have a learning class using the platform E-Learning Application, (3) The trainees have been knowledgeable e-learning used.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to provide understanding and experience about CAR writing to Pinggir Middle School teachers. It is hoped that with this service, all Pinggir Middle and High School teachers can carry out CAR writing as a teacher's scientific work later. The target of this service is teachers whose promotion is constrained due to the absence of research as their scientific work. It was concluded that there were still many teachers who did not understand the nature of this Classroom Action Research (CAR). This is because in general teachers are not used to writing CAR, even if teachers who have participated in PLPG are given CAR material, but the allocation provided does not allow them to be able to master CAR. One thing that teachers can do is imitate the CAR reports that have been made by previous teachers. So that it seems to just adapt from other people's research reports. At the beginning and until the end of the 4 days (32 hours) most of them understood and the motivation to produce the product was quite high. When carrying out the activities, no one did not understand, and sincerity was seen from time to time in both group and classical discussions. At the end of the service activity, each teacher is required to insert a product in the form of a proposal, which consists of Chapter I Introduction, Chapter II Literature Review, and Chapter III Research Methods. And Bibliography.

Abstract

Improving the professionalism of Japanese teachers is indispensable. So that the ability of teachers in delivering learning is improved. Therefore, it is necessary to hold workshops and mentoring in making learning media for Japanese teachers. Especially the learning media intended for learning sakubun. Workshop materials include, 1) Introduction to drawing media, 2) Things to be aware of using drawing media in Japanese writing teaching, 3) Benefits of using drawing media in teaching Japanese writing skills, and 4) Discussions and presentations on the use of drawing media. Methods used during workshops and mentoring are lectures, discussions, mentoring. After that, participants are guided to create drawing media and sakubun. This activity is quite successful when viewed from the enthusiasm of the participants in participating in the workshop and mentoring media making. So that it can be a motivation for teachers to be more creative in making learning media and learning about sakubun. The success of this activity was thanks to the good cooperation of community service team members with the Principal of SMA Plus Pekanbaru, Riau.

Abstract

Learning assistance is a primary need for students who are already very bored in dealing with online learning. Learning mentoring activities will be able to increase student motivation in learning. So with that, a program that can help partners is prepared, namely the students of SDN Sangkanwangi 1 with a mentoring method that is relaxed and fun. The implementation of this activity is carried out regularly at SDN Sangkanwangi 1 for 30 days. These activities include providing motivation, materials, questions and answers, games, and rewards for students who actively participate. This activity is expected to increase student saturation in online learning during the pandemic.

Abstract

The teacher's profession requires writing skills to support career development and to keep learning so that teachers are obliged to write scientific papers. However, in reality, the willingness and ability of teachers to write scientific papers still need to be improved. Community Service aims to improve the ability of elementary school teachers in Batang and surrounding districts to improve their ability to write papers, which we focus on Class Action Research (CAR). The method used is through workshops and scientific papers assistance for elementary school teachers in Batang and surrounding districts. This community service activity is divided into two stages, namely the first stage of material exposure by trainers on scientific papers. The second stage is the scientific paper's activities conducted by all participants accompanied by trainers. The community education program which was initiated by the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program of STKIP Muhammadiyah Batang was carried out very well and the positive impression of all participants was the best program. The existence of training programs and mentoring of scientific writing is felt very useful by participants, because through this program teachers (participants) who follow this program get new knowledge in the creation of scientific papers, especially in the making of Class Action Research (CAR).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to make socialization about the benefits of the ketapang fruit which has not been utilized by SMP 6 Dumai. Ketapang fruit that is burned into ketapang charcoal can actually be used for water purification and the results of the tested water filter are clear, odorless and tasteless. In research on simple miniature water filtration using ketapang charcoal, it turns out that the use of ketapang charcoal can change the pH of the water close to the pH of neutral water. Filter results with ketapang charcoal can change the pH to close to neutral pH and suitable for consumption, where the water suitable for consumption is at a pH of 6.5-8.5. In peat water obtained pH = 7.93; rust water obtained pH = 7.9; clay water obtained pH = 7.53; ditch water obtained pH = 6.3 and river water obtained pH = 7.9. From this research, it is convinced to the community that ketapang charcoal can be used to purify water and neutralize the pH of the water.

Abstract

This research activity is based on the low and lack of interest in reading the children of Jonggol Village, Jambon District, Ponorogo Regency. This can be seen from the results of observations that have been made by researchers by looking at the condition of the children of Jonggol Village and through interviews with one of the parents of the children of Jonggol Village. The purpose of this research is to raise awareness of students' interest in reading to the culture of reading literacy in elementary school age children in Jonggol Village, Jambon District, Ponorogo Regency. This Celebrity Day Work Program (a book) uses an approach in the form of the ABCD (Asset Bcased Community Development) research method. The use of this method is to empower the community with the potential that already exists in the assisted partners. The priority of this research is the growth of reading interest in the children of Jonggol Village, Jambon District, Ponorogo Regency. The results of the One Day Together Celebrity program are showing a significant change in the children of Jonggol Village.

Abstract

The objectives of this activity are: (1) Improving the ability of teachers to create a pleasant learning atmosphere for students. (2) Cultivating teachers to apply innovative, creative, effective, and fun learning in every activity (3) Improving teacher professional competence and pedagogy, especially in improving teacher competence through interactive learning models, the method used consists of (a) Counseling is intended to improve knowledge and understanding of innovative learning models, (b) Training, which is carried out by providing opportunities to practice accepted learning models. (c) Assistance, intended as a follow-up to this activity service. Assistance to teachers can be an advisor to problems faced in schools. Therefore, this training intends to improve teacher competence through interactive learning training as a learning medium at MAS Aliyah Tahfizil Qur’an Medan and how the competence of teachers in utilizing interactive learning models.

Abstract

Education In the 21st century, the world is changing very rapidly. This change concerns all lines of life, namely the fields of economy, transportation, technology, communication, information, and others. These changes are necessary to develop 21st century skills. These 21st century skills include critical thinking and problem solving, creativity and innovation, communication, and collaboration. The development of 21st century skills can be done in all disciplines. The main purpose of this activity is to be able to develop online learning modules so that teachers can improve the quality of 21st century skills-based learning based on learning management in SMP and SMA Alkautsar Duri Integrated Islamic Education Foundation, by making modules and conducting training. The time for the implementation is 4 days with 40 teachers participating. The results obtained that the level of understanding achieved in online learning modules, material achievement, namely about 21st century skills-based learning, the achievement of the types of online applications used, as well as the absorption of online applications based on modules in the context of 21st century skills, can all be categorized as high or good. . Foundations and schools need to continue to improve and develop 21st century skills-based online learning based on existing modules.
