PUCUK REBUNG: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat [ 2798-8287 (online) | 2776-5334 (print) ] is a community service journal published by Jurusan Ilmu Pendidikan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Riau. The journal was first published in 2021 and published every May and November. The journal is open to authors around the world regardless of nationality. This journal publication aims to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of community services, particularly focuses on the main problems in the development of the sciences of community services areas as follows: 1. <![CDATA[Clean and healthy living behaviour is a behaviour that is practised in everyday life. The purpose of implementing clean and healthy living behaviour in the dormitory environment is so that the dormitory community continues to apply a clean and healthy lifestyle during the COVID-19 pandemic so as to prevent transmission in the dormitory environment. The approach to overcome partner problems is through counselling and mentoring methods as well as providing facilities and infrastructure to support the implementation of clean and healthy living behaviours. The implementation of this community service activity is carried out in all dormitory buildings of Dharmas Indonesia University. Implementation of activities is counselling about clean and healthy living behaviour which includes counselling about clean and healthy living behaviour and implementation of clean and healthy living behaviour, as well as healthy exercise. Then cleaning is done throughout the dormitory environment. In addition, activities for clean and healthy living behaviour through mutual cooperation activities are carried out every Sunday. The benefits of gymnastics have been felt by the dormitory community, such as improving sleep quality, being able to relieve stress, and controlling weight.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe and interpret the implementation of Digital Game Play Learning (DGPL) in elementary schools. This study used a qualitative approach. The data were collected by using in-depth interviews, participant observation, field notes, and documentation. The data validity was determined through sources and techniques triangulation. The subjects were elementary school teachers in SD IT Nurul A’raaf. The data were analyzed by using Interactive Analysis Model from Miles and Huberman. The results show: 1) the planning of Digital Game Play Learning (DGPL) program has been coordinated by the board of DGPL team. This team was to be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating DGPL program; 2) DGPL has been implemented in online class in three phases, namely planning, doing, and reflecting. Besides, DGPL is oriented to build fun learning based digital game play for teachers and students in the pandemic of covid-19. and 3) the evaluation of DGPL implementation has been conducted by the team who has implemented online class of DGPL thoroughly in intensive discussion of reflection.]]>

<![CDATA[This service aims to improve the ability to master local content in elementary schools and to actualize and develop local content materials in elementary schools. The implementation of this community service was motivated by a request for teachers of SD Negeri 193 in Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City, who had difficulty in actualizing local content material. This service activity was carried out in December 2019, carried out in 2 stages, namely: (1) in this first stage community service activities include mentoring local content material, where at this stage participants get material related to local content and material examples local content; and (2) the second stage, community service activities are carried out by means of the teacher making presentations and continued with discussions and providing input that involves all training participants. The results of the activities during the implementation of mulok material mentoring for teachers at SDN 193 Pekanbaru showed the enthusiasm of the participants with the various questions raised by the participants.]]>

<![CDATA[The era of the Education Revolution 4.0 has now been felt and become a part of the education process and has an impact on the action of realizing teacher professionalism. About educational issues, as stated above, the purpose of implementing this article is to provide knowledge and skills for teachers in making classroom action research reports so that they can increase their professionalism. The method of this training activity is carried out by lectures, discussions, questions, and answers, and mentoring. This activity was attended by 24 participants from elementary school teachers throughout the city of Surabaya who had filled out the online registration (google form). The result of this training was that teachers knowledge and skills increased and could lead to the realization of professional teachers. This can be seen from the results of the training evaluation data analysis, which overall participants rated this activity in the outstanding category with a score range of 55-64. The training materials that the participants have mastered are good practice in classroom learning, the nature of classroom action research reports, writing classroom action research reports, and disseminating classroom action research reports. Mentoring is done by reviewing class action research reports from participants and providing feedback for improvements. Dissemination by submitting relevant educational journals and classroom action research journals for the trainees.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this service is to familiarize yourself with Reading Log (Reading Journal) as a supporter of the National Literacy Movement (GLN). The method used in this service is starting with preparing books that children will read. The books provided are tiered books so that children can choose books according to their wants and needs and prepare reading corners by preparing as many reading books as many (100 reading books) of various types reading books and tiered reading. According to the target, this service is 88% of children can get used to using the reading log. This can be seen from the 25 students who filled out the reading log in full, as many as 22 children. This proves that reading logs' habit is one of the habits to support the community literacy movement.]]>

<![CDATA[Profesi guru membutuhkan kemampuan menulis untuk menunjang perkembangan karir dan untuk tetap belajar sehingga guru wajib menulis karya ilmiah. Namun, dalam kenyataannya kemauan dan kemampuan guru untuk menulis karya ilmiah masih perlu ditingkatkan. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru Sekolah Dasar di daerah Kabupaten Batang dan sekitarnya untuk meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam menulis karya tulis ilmih, yang kita fokuskan pada Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Metode yang digunakan yaitu melalui acara workshop dan pendampingan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah bai guru Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Batang dan sekitarnya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini terbagi menjadi dua tahap, yaitu tahap pertama pemaparan materi oleh trainer mengenai karya tulis ilmiah. Tahap kedua yaitu kegiatan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah yang dilakukan oleh semua peserta dengan didampingi oleh para trainer. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar STKIP Muhammadiyah Batang telah terlaksana dengan sangat baik dan mendapatkan kesan positif dari semua peserta yang mengikuti program tersebut. Adanya program pelatihan dan pendampingan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah ini dirasakan sangat bermanfaat oleh peserta, karena melalui program ini guru-guru (peserta) yang mengikuti program ini mendapatkan ilmu baru dalam pembuatan karya tulis ilmiah, khususnya pada pembuatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK).]]>

<![CDATA[In the development of the era, teachers are required to improve competence, especially in terms of learning about digital literacy. The role of teachers is very important in creating a teaching and learning process that is following the demands of revolution 4.0. In the learning process, teachers can use the internet-based e-learning method. E-learning is a learning method that utilizes web-based information technology (IT) that can be accessed remotely so that the learning done is not only glued in the classroom and within certain hours but can still be done anytime and anywhere. Ujung Batu Subdistrict Rokan Hulu has sixteen public elementary schools scattered in various from in Ujung Batu Subdistrict. Based on the observations, elementary school teachers in Ujung Batu Subdistrict still do not use the Internet to the maximum in the learning process. Teachers use limited media and learning resources. This is due to lack of information and lack of facilities The purpose of this devotion is to increase knowledge and insight into the innovation of e-learning based learning for teachers of SD Negeri Ujung Batu can be done through training activities in the application of Google meet, Google classroom and Zoom applicated. This activity was attended by 20 people in the teachers of SD Negeri Ujung Batu with the implementation method of devotion using lecture methods, questions and answers, and simulations. The results of this dedication show that (1) the trainees know the use of e-learning application Platform, (2) The trainees already have a learning class using the platform E-Learning Application, (3) The trainees have been knowledgeable e-learning used.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this service is to provide understanding and experience about CAR writing to Pinggir Middle School teachers. It is hoped that with this service, all Pinggir Middle and High School teachers can carry out CAR writing as a teacher's scientific work later. The target of this service is teachers whose promotion is constrained due to the absence of research as their scientific work. It was concluded that there were still many teachers who did not understand the nature of this Classroom Action Research (CAR). This is because in general teachers are not used to writing CAR, even if teachers who have participated in PLPG are given CAR material, but the allocation provided does not allow them to be able to master CAR. One thing that teachers can do is imitate the CAR reports that have been made by previous teachers. So that it seems to just adapt from other people's research reports. At the beginning and until the end of the 4 days (32 hours) most of them understood and the motivation to produce the product was quite high. When carrying out the activities, no one did not understand, and sincerity was seen from time to time in both group and classical discussions. At the end of the service activity, each teacher is required to insert a product in the form of a proposal, which consists of Chapter I Introduction, Chapter II Literature Review, and Chapter III Research Methods. And Bibliography.]]>

<![CDATA[Improving the professionalism of Japanese teachers is indispensable. So that the ability of teachers in delivering learning is improved. Therefore, it is necessary to hold workshops and mentoring in making learning media for Japanese teachers. Especially the learning media intended for learning sakubun. Workshop materials include, 1) Introduction to drawing media, 2) Things to be aware of using drawing media in Japanese writing teaching, 3) Benefits of using drawing media in teaching Japanese writing skills, and 4) Discussions and presentations on the use of drawing media. Methods used during workshops and mentoring are lectures, discussions, mentoring. After that, participants are guided to create drawing media and sakubun. This activity is quite successful when viewed from the enthusiasm of the participants in participating in the workshop and mentoring media making. So that it can be a motivation for teachers to be more creative in making learning media and learning about sakubun. The success of this activity was thanks to the good cooperation of community service team members with the Principal of SMA Plus Pekanbaru, Riau.]]>

<![CDATA[Learning assistance is a primary need for students who are already very bored in dealing with online learning. Learning mentoring activities will be able to increase student motivation in learning. So with that, a program that can help partners is prepared, namely the students of SDN Sangkanwangi 1 with a mentoring method that is relaxed and fun. The implementation of this activity is carried out regularly at SDN Sangkanwangi 1 for 30 days. These activities include providing motivation, materials, questions and answers, games, and rewards for students who actively participate. This activity is expected to increase student saturation in online learning during the pandemic.]]>
