Abstract

This study aims to provide solutions to the problems faced by the partner institution, namely the lack of understanding of the Merdeka Curriculum, particularly in designing and developing Merdeka Curriculum teaching modules at SMP Negeri 187 Semanan, Kalideres District, West Jakarta. A team from Universitas Indraprasta PGRI Jakarta conducted a workshop in the form of training and mentoring to enhance teachers’ understanding of the Merdeka Curriculum. The mentoring activities were intended to broaden teachers’ perspectives and to review the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMP Negeri 187 through workshop-based activities. These workshops supported teachers in planning Merdeka Curriculum–based learning so as to improve classroom implementation in accordance with the subjects they teach. The mentoring method involved in-depth material delivery on Merdeka Curriculum–based learning accompanied by direct guidance for teachers. This program, carried out by the Universitas Indraprasta PGRI team, aimed to enhance teachers’ knowledge and provide hands-on practice in applying the Merdeka Curriculum learning system. The mentoring was implemented through intensive training and practical application of Merdeka Curriculum–based learning in the school context. The results of the mentoring activities indicate that teachers have gained a solid understanding of the Merdeka Curriculum and are able to implement it, starting from lesson planning through the development of teaching modules in accordance with learning guidelines and assessment frameworks for early childhood, primary, and secondary education. Learning assessments are able to measure targeted aspects and are holistic in nature. The mentoring program concludes that the activities were effectively carried out through the presentation of Merdeka Curriculum concepts for junior high school teachers, including the design of learning activities referring to Learning Outcomes (Capaian Pembelajaran/CP); explanations on developing learning sequences and objectives at the junior high school level based on institutional characteristics, students’ needs and interests, surrounding environmental conditions, and their alignment with CP. Consequently, learning sequences and objectives may differ across educational units. The teachers showed strong enthusiasm in participating in the training and responded that such training is highly important and necessary for them.

Abstract

Community involvement or participation is one form of effort to improve the quality of education, as stated in Law 25 of 2000, which calls for increased family and community participation in the implementation of education. These efforts include the government forming a school committee. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis (1). The subjects of this study included the principal, teachers, school committee members, and parents' representatives. The urgency of implementing the school committee's work at MAN 2 East Flores in supporting the development and improvement of the quality of education has not been running optimally. The school committee should play an active role in formulating and overseeing strategic policies that can strengthen the educational process in madrasas. However, in reality, this role has not been implemented optimally. One aspect that has not been seen strongly is balanced cooperation and communication between the school committee and the madrasah. The involvement and contribution of the school committee as an advisory agency is quite good, especially in three aspects, namely 1) Providing Considerations on School Policies, 2) Recommending Program Preparation, the school committee in its role has also carried out one of several other functions as an advisory agency well and 3) Providing Advice in Fund Management, in the aspect of budget or fund management, the school committee is also committed to continuing to provide input so that in the process of managing the budget or funds until their use must be on target and in accordance with what was agreed upon and of course in its use must support the improvement of the quality of education.

Abstract

This study aims to develop video-based learning media using the Animaker application in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) subject of Computer Systems for seventh-grade students in Junior High Schools, and to test the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the resulting media. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of three media experts, three material experts, one ICT teacher, and 15 seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri Satu Atap 1 Towea. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques with a Likert scale. The results showed that the Animaker video-based learning media obtained a very valid category with a percentage of 82.4% based on the assessment of media experts and 89.8% based on the assessment of material experts. The trial on students showed a very positive response with an average score of 4.60 or equivalent to a percentage of 92%, which indicates that the media is easy to use, interesting, and helps students understand the abstract material of Computer Systems. Furthermore, teachers found this media practical to use because it doesn't rely on a computer lab. Therefore, Animaker video-based learning media is deemed feasible, practical, and effective as an alternative ICT learning medium in schools, particularly in situations where technology-based learning facilities and infrastructure are limited.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of academic pressure, social support, and mental health from a sharia perspective on the achievement of Muslim students receiving the KIP-Kuliah (Kiliyah Student Assistance) at the Medan State Polytechnic. This research fills a gap in research that is still dominated by partial studies and has not integrated these three variables simultaneously within a framework of sharia values, particularly in the context of KIP-Kuliah students receiving vocational education. This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 179 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 26. The results showed that academic pressure had a negative and significant effect on student achievement with a value of -0.180, social support had a positive and significant effect with a value of 0.303, and mental health from a sharia perspective also had a positive and significant effect with a value of 0.380. Together, these three variables explained 19.7% of the variation in student achievement, while 80.3% was influenced by factors outside the research model. These findings underscore the importance of a holistic approach that integrates academic, social, and spiritual aspects in improving the achievement of KIP- Kuliah recipient students.

Abstract

Strengthening civic literacy in high school students is becoming increasingly crucial in the digital era to form citizens who are legally aware, responsible, critical, and actively participate without losing their national identity. This study aims to explore the perceptions of social studies/civics teachers in Blitar City State Senior High Schools regarding the meaning of civic literacy, the level of students' civic literacy, strategies for integrating civic values ??through in-depth learning, the methods and media used, and obstacles in its development according to the dimensions of graduate profiles. The study used a qualitative phenomenological approach with a single embedded case study design, involving eight social studies/civics teachers from four state senior high schools in Blitar City, selected purposively; data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews, passive observation, and document analysis during September–November 2025. The results show that teachers interpret civic literacy holistically as social sensitivity and daily civic behavior through in-depth learning; students' literacy levels have increased in the courage to express opinions but are still weak in information analysis and vulnerable to hoaxes; The most effective strategies are contextual learning based on direct experience, democratic dialogue, case studies, environmental observations, local issues in Blitar, and audiovisual media;. At the same time, the main obstacles are low information literacy and minimal exploration of local issues. Strengthening civic literacy effectively through a project-based learning model that aligns with the dimensions of the graduate profile and utilizes Blitar's local potential as a "living laboratory" for civic education, to produce a young generation that is critical, caring, and actively participates in the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

Speech delay is a common developmental issue in early childhood that impacts communication skills, social interactions, and academic readiness. Early intervention is a crucial step in addressing this delay, but its effectiveness is greatly influenced by parental involvement, including fathers. This study aims to describe the role of fathers in early intervention to support the language development of children with speech delays. The study used a qualitative case study approach with several fathers of children with speech delays. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that fathers' active involvement significantly impacted children's language development. Fathers who consistently provided stimulation such as reading stories, engaging in dialogue, playing while communicating, and responding to each child's verbal attempts accelerated the development of both expressive and receptive language. A father's more varied and exploratory communication style has been shown to enrich children's vocabulary, improve their ability to understand instructions, and encourage children to speak up. Furthermore, fathers' emotional support helps increase children's self-confidence and emotional regulation, making them better prepared to interact with their social environment. Research confirms that fathers' roles not only influence language development but also support children's cognitive and socio-emotional development. Thus, father involvement in early intervention is an important factor that must be strengthened to help children overcome speech delays and achieve optimal development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need to develop drama teaching materials based on Banyumas folklore, as an effort to provide materials that are relevant to students' needs and characteristics. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model. The focus of the study is the needs analysis stage, the first part of the ADDIE development model. The population in this study was all high school students in the Purwokerto area who received drama material in Indonesian Language subjects. From this population, the study collected samples from two schools: SMAN 5 Purwokerto and SMAN 3 Purwokerto. The results showed that students had a positive perception of drama learning and gained meaningful learning experiences, especially in aspects of self-expression, social interaction, and mental strengthening. However, the available teaching materials remained general, did not cover the full range of drama theory, and did not include examples grounded in local culture. Students also indicated a need for more comprehensive teaching materials that cover affective, psychomotor, and cognitive aspects. Furthermore, students have a favorable view of Banyumas folktales as a learning resource, particularly because their geographical and cultural proximity makes it easier for them to understand the values and moral messages conveyed in these tales. These findings confirm the need to develop drama teaching materials based on Banyumas folktales to provide contextual, meaningful, and student-centered learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Santri Identity Card (SIC) as a digital financial management innovation to enhance student discipline at the API ASRI Tegalrejo Magelang Islamic Boarding School. The research is motivated by the need for Islamic boarding schools to adapt to technological advancements while simultaneously strengthening students’ character development through an orderly, transparent, and accountable financial management system. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis follows the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of the SIC has a significant impact on students’ financial behavior. Students become more disciplined, measured, and responsible in managing their pocket money, as all transactions are automatically recorded and can be monitored in real time by administrators and guardians. This level of transparency encourages students to restrain consumptive behavior and to distinguish between needs and wants. For the Islamic boarding school, the SIC enhances administrative efficiency, improves record accuracy, and strengthens institutional financial accountability. However, several challenges remain, including limited digital literacy and occasional technical disruptions. These obstacles can be addressed through continuous training and mentoring. Overall, financial digitization through the SIC not only improves the effectiveness of Islamic boarding school management but also functions as an instrument for fostering Islamic character, particularly discipline and responsibility among students. This innovation demonstrates that technology can be harmoniously integrated into Islamic boarding school education.
