Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemandirian belajar dan efektivitas knowledge terhadap prestasi belajar siswa SMP Swasta di Kota Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemandirian belajar (X1) dan efektivitas knowledge (X2), terhadap prestasi belajar (Y). Dalam penelitian ini penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 219 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer, data dikumpulkan dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada reponden melalui google forms. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian menggunakan SPSS 20.0 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemandirian belajar (X1) berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar (Y) siswa SMP Swasta di Kota Medan. Efektivitas knowledge (X2) berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar (Y) siswa SMP Swasta di Kota Medan. Kemandirian belajar (X1) dan efektivitas knowledge (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar (Y) siswa SMP Swasta di Kota Medan. Persamaan regresi pada penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut : ?1,2 = 20,610 + 0,251X1 + 0,584X2. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka untuk mengoptimalkan prestasi belajar siswa maka perlu kebijakan maupun regulasi untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar dan efektivitas knowledge.

Abstract

Development of technology in various fields is increasing rapidly. Younger generation will face competition from two things, namely competition between individuals and competition with robots/AI. Unfortunately, many of Indonesia's young generation adhere to the mindset of "Mediocrity". This mediocrity is loved by various levels of society, including Buddhist Colleges students in Jabodetabek. However, there has been no research that addresses the mediocrity of Buddhist Colleges students in Jabodetabek in their role as agents of change. Various perspectives are needed from existing organizations of Indonesian Buddhist scholars on the role of Buddhist Colleges students in Jabodetabek as agents of change. Is it good, or tend to be mediocre? As well as solutions to the Tipitaka values that can be implemented to overcome this problem. The type of research used is qualitative. The data collection technique used unstructured in-depth interviews and quoted directly from various sources. Data analysis used data interpretation and heuristics. The objectivity and validity of the data used the Mahapadessa parallelization and triangulation methods. The results of this research is based on the analysis of the four dimensions of the agent of change, namely the catalyst; resource linker; solution giver; and process helper, on average Buddhist Colleges students in Jabodetabek tend to be mediocre in carrying out their duties as agents of change. As well as solutions These solutions are scattered in various existing canons. In this case, the researcher tries to summarize the various existing canons as a solution approach to overcome the mediocrity mindset based on the Tipitaka, namely: Generating determination and changing mindsets; Analyze the advantages & disadvantages and determine goals / ideals; Find a good place/environment to grow; Avoid wrong associations and associate with good people; Expanding relationships with four ways of treating others; Continuously learning and self-evaluating; Keep practicing and trying to develop your potential.

Abstract

Problems in schools are many and quite complex, including a boring learning atmosphere for students, this causesobstacles in efforts to achieve good performance. In addition to efforts to get high academic scores, means for personality development are needed through various activities in the classroom, including extracurricular activities. To find out the problems in Buddhist Foundation Private Elementary Schools, data collection was carried out through questionnaires to elementary school teachers, parents of students with the results showing that the variables that most influenced learning achievement were learning discipline and learning climate. So, this research set the research title Quantitative Analysis of Correlation of Learning Discipline and Learning Climate on Student Achievement of Private Elementary Schools with Buddhist Foundations in Increasing Pramuka’s Extracurricular Skills in Tangerang Regency. The purpose of this study was to find out how the correlation of discipline and learning climate on learning achievement in extracurricular skills improvement. The population of this study were students of private elementaryschools who are auspices of Buddhist foundations in the city and district of Tangerang. The sample was taken based on the Yamane and Isaac and Michael sample formula, namely 133 samples. Inferential analysis is used to test the hypothesis using simple regression and correlation analysis techniques. The results showed that there was a simultaneous and partial influence between learning discipline and learning climate on the learning achievement of extracurricular skills subjects of private elementary school students under the auspices of the Buddhist Foundation in Tangerang Regency, with a coefficient of determination score X1 to Y of r2 = y1 0,218 with a correlation coefficient score generated by ry1 = 0,467 and the X2 to Y determination coefficient scoregenerated by r2 = 0,367 with a correlation coefficient score generated by r = 0,606 and the X1 to X2 determination y2 coefficient score generated by r2 = 0,377 with a correlation coefficient score generated by r = 0,614 the correlation y3 coefficient generated by r2 = 0,377, a contribution or influence of 37.7%, the remaining 62.3% is contributed by other y3 variables that have a relationship with increasing student achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Ibnu Sina's views on mental health and its implications for education. The research method employed is a qualitative approach designed as a literature review or library research. The data sources used include primary data from journal articles and books related to Ibnu Sina's perspective on mental health, and secondary data from mass media, newspapers, biographies, and social media. The findings indicate that Ibnu Sina views mental health as a balance between the body, soul, and mind, which influence each other. Through his holistic approach, he highlights the importance of maintaining physical, intellectual, and spiritual well-being, emphasizing the necessity of balance and harmony. The implications of mental health for education, from Ibnu Sina's perspective, suggest that education integrating physical, intellectual, and spiritual aspects can significantly enhance students' mental health. The holistic educational approach proposed by Ibnu Sina can help prevent mental disorders, improve academic abilities, and strengthen students' social and emotional skills. By incorporating elements such as moral education, character development, and activities that support physical and mental well-being, the educational curriculum becomes more effective in creating balanced and healthy individuals. Applying the concept of mental health from Ibnu Sina's perspective in modern educational systems can produce a more resilient, ethical generation capable of contributing positively to society.

Abstract

The advancement of science and information and communication technology as one of the products of changing times has had a positive impact on the progress of today's education world. The era of digitalization called the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 made changes very quickly. Many digital learning applications can be used effectively and efficiently as learning support media. This research requires learning media innovation so that students do not feel bored during the teaching and learning process. Many digital learning applications that can be used effectively and efficiently as learning support media The purpose of this research is: to find out the increase in student learning outcomes in the VIIIath Pythagorean theorem material at SMPN 2 Bojonegara. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection using the test and observation methods from January to February 2020. The results of this study are; there is an increase in learning outcomes on average learning outcomes 63 in cycle I and 78 in cycle II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasi komunikasi organisasi antara kepala sekolah dan guru di SMK PAB 8 Sampali menggunakan aplikasi WhatsApp grup dapat menjadi media komunikasi yang efektif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi WhatsApp dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru dengan efektivitas komunikasi organisasi sebesar 72,1%. Kepala sekolah harus memiliki kemampuan mengatur, menjamin, dan mengarahkan guru-guru agar dapat sesuai menjalankan tugasnya sebagai guru. Komunikasi organisasi yang efektif dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru dan mempengaruhi peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara terhadap tujuh informan. Sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan, mengorganisasikan secara sistematis, dan menarik kesimpulan dari data yang ditemukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran komunikasi organisasi kepala sekolah di SMK PAB 8 Sampali berhasil. Komunikasi organisasi kepala sekolah merupakan kinerja setiap guru dalam perannya sebagai penyampai informasi, peraturan, persuasi, saluran informasi terpadu, perintah, tugas, masukan, pengarahan, dan aturan yang diberikan kepada seluruh guru agar tujuan pendidikan dapat tercapai.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang diberi pembelajaran open ended lebih baik dari pembelajaran biasa. Penelitian eksperimen ialah salah satu penelitian kuantitatif dimana peneliti memanipulasi satu atau lebih variable bebas, mengontrol variabel lain yang relevan, dan mengamati efek dari manipulasi pada variabel terikat. Murid dalam penelitian ini ialah murid kelas VII – 1 (kelas eksperimen) yang berjumlah 22 murid dan VII–2 (kelas kontrol) yang berjumlah 23 murid. Lembar tes kemampuan berpikir digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dilaksanakan dua kali ialah sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan open ended yang sering disebut dengan PreTest dan PostTest. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan open ended lebih baik dari pembelajaran biasa terhadap berpikir kreatif siswa dan rasa ingin tahu siswa, Kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan rasa ingin tahu secara simultan terhadap model open ended ialah sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan nilai Fhitung 152,126 > Ftabel 3,49, sehingga terdapat perbedaan dan lebih baik kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan rasa ingin tahu secara simultan terhadap model open ended. Selain itu pada uji hipotesis dilihat bahwa nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,119 yang berarti nilai tersebut lebih besar dari 0,05 maka H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dan rasa ingin tahu siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran open ended dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dan rasa ingin tahu siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran biasa.

Abstract

This research was conducted to answer the role of organizational communication in education or learning at MAS Muallimin Univa Medan. The research conducted was qualitative research with data collection techniques through interviews. Organizational communication is the flow of information, exchange of information, and transfer of meaning in an organization. Based on the results of research obtained from interviews with several teachers, it can be concluded that the teaching and learning process carried out by teachers is always an interaction activity between students as learning parties and teachers as teaching parties. This process itself is a chain that connects between teachers and students so as to create communication that has a purpose, namely learning objectives. Teachers must create an interactive classroom atmosphere where students can actively participate in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran susun kartu pada tema ekosistem di kelas V Sd. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE, Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Metode R&D adalah metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu, dan menguji keefektifan produk tersebut. Penelitian dan pengembangan adalah suatu proses atau langkah-langkah untuk mengembangkan suatu produk baru atau menyempurnakan produk yang telah ada. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan ADDIE yang dikembangkan oleh Furthermore, Lee dan Owens. Model ADDIE merupakan singkatan dari Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluations. Model ini dapat digunakan untuk berbagai macam bentuk pengembangan produk seperti model, strategi pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, media dan bahan ajar. Produk yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran Susun kartu. peneliti mengembangkan media susun kartu dengan observasi langsung kesekolah mulai dari menganalisis kebutuhan siswa serta materi dan merancang serta mendesain media susun akrtu sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Validasi ahli media dan materi mendapatkan skor yang berjumlah 66% dengan saran dan komentar layak digunakan tanpa revisi sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the use of bilingual dictionaries as a learning resource in mastering Arabic vocabulary by Biology Study Program students at the North Sumatra State Islamic University (UINSU) Medan. The background to this research is based on the importance of mastering Arabic vocabulary in supporting understanding of religious and scientific literature, especially in the UINSU academic environment which integrates Islamic knowledge and science. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data was obtained through interviews, observations, and Google forms given to students as well as analysis of related documents. The research results show that the use of a bilingual dictionary significantly helps students understand and expand their Arabic vocabulary. Bilingual dictionaries are effective tools in the learning process, facilitating the translation of technical and scientific terms, as well as improving communication skills in Arabic. This research concludes that the integration of the use of bilingual dictionaries in the curriculum and teaching and learning activities is highly recommended to improve Arabic language mastery of Biology Study Program students at UINSU Medan.
