Abstract

This study aims to identify factors that influence the optimization of land building tax (PBB-P2) revenue in Sumbawa Regency, as well as evaluate the effectiveness of fiscal policies implemented by the local government. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study examines the dynamics of taxpayer compliance, fiscal policy, and efforts that have been made to increase PBB-P2 revenue. The results show that the low level of taxpayer awareness and compliance, weak policy socialization, and geographical challenges are the main obstacles in optimizing PBB-P2 revenue. On the other hand, efforts to digitize tax services, update data, strengthen coordination between agencies, and plan to provide tax relief are positive steps that have been taken by the local government. This Study recommends the need for fiscal policy innovation based on local needs, increasing tax education to the community, and strengthening the capacity of tax officials to encourage the optimalization og PBB-P2 revenue in a sustainable manner, so that it can support more independent regional development.

Abstract

The transition toward renewable energy and the strengthening of digital infrastructure have become two critical pillars in promoting sustainable development in the modern era. Issues such as climate change, dependence on fossil fuels, and the increasing need for digital transformation require an integrated strategy involving strategic investments and cross-sector partnerships. This study aims to examine the role of investment and partnership in accelerating the development of renewable energy and digital infrastructure, focusing on the potential integration of both sectors as part of national and global development agendas. The research employs a literature review method by analyzing scientific journals, policy reports, and relevant publications that discuss trends, challenges, and opportunities in these sectors. The findings indicate a growing trend of investment in clean energy and digital systems, driven by supportive policies, private sector involvement, and technological advancements. Partnerships among governments, private companies, and research institutions have proven effective in accelerating the adoption of green and digital technologies, although challenges remain, such as digital divides, limited access to green financing, and suboptimal regulatory frameworks. This study contributes by mapping the interconnection between the two strategic sectors and providing policy recommendations based on integration frameworks. The implication is that strengthening synergy between investment and partnerships can significantly accelerate the transition to a more inclusive, efficient, and low-carbon economy, in alignment with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The research focuses on Muslim consumers from Generation Z and involves 450 respondents. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, with data analysis processed using Smart PLS. The findings indicate that knowledge of halal products and religiosity have a positive and significant impact on purchase intention, while the halal label has no effect. Purchase intention was found to have a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions, whereas knowledge of halal products and religiosity do not have a direct influence. Conversely, the halal label has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Additionally, purchase intention mediates the relationship between knowledge of halal products and religiosity on purchasing decisions but does not mediate the relationship between the halal label and purchasing decisions. These findings provide insights for producers to enhance the appeal of halal products among Muslim Generation Z consumers.

Abstract

The efficiency of government spending in the health and education sectors is a crucial factor in achieving sustainable development goals. This study analyzes the budget spending efficiency of provinces with a high Human Development Index (HDI) in Indonesia during the 2021-2023 period using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method with the Constant Return to Scale (CRS) approach, and an input-oriented perspective. The input variables include budget allocation and resources (medical personnel for health; number of schools for education), while the output variables consist of performance indicators such as Life Expectancy, Maternal/Infant Mortality Rates (health), and Literacy Rate and Years of Schooling (education). The results of the study show variations in efficiency achievements across provinces. Riau and the Riau Islands consistently achieved perfect efficiency (score 1) in both sectors, while provinces such as DI Yogyakarta and East Kalimantan experienced inefficiencies, with the education sector being more stable than health. These findings indicate the need for optimization of budget allocation, human resource capacity building, and the application of technology to enhance efficiency, particularly in the health sector. This study provides empirical contributions to fiscal effectiveness and policy recommendations to strengthen regional budget management. The implications of the research include the importance of data-based monitoring systems, inter-provincial benchmarking, and multi-stakeholder collaboration to ensure sustainable human development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) revenue based on financial accountability in North Lombok Regency. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results indicate that PKB management in North Lombok Regency has been generally effective, with annual revenue realization consistently exceeding the set targets. However, the application of financial accountability principles, such as financial reporting transparency and public participation, still faces challenges, particularly limited information access and low fiscal literacy among the public. Supporting factors for accountability implementation include the use of digital systems like e-Samsat and inter-agency synergy, while obstacles involve geographical barriers, low community income, and limited digital literacy. The study concludes that enhancing financial accountability in PKB management can strengthen public trust in local governments and support the optimization of regional revenue.

In fact, subsidized products such as clean water from PDAM, subsidized electricity, and subsidized fuel have different legal characteristics because The price is set by the government and monitored by certain bodies . This difference has implications for price transparency, service quality standards, and dispute resolution mechanisms which is not fully regulated in the UUPK. This article aims to analyze the incompleteness of consumer protection regulations for subsidized products and propose a fairer and more effective legal reconstruction . By using normative approach , this research to study national regulations, WTO principles related to subsidies, and comparative studies with other countries . The results of the study indicate that consumer protection for subsidized products requires a more specific legal framework. to guarantee consumer rights without ignoring the interests of the government as a regulator and service provider as a special business actor . Therefore, it is necessary regulatory reconstruction that accommodates price transparency, improved service quality, and clearer dispute resolution mechanisms for consumers of subsidized products
