Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Logic Model and Theory-Based Evaluation in evaluating educational programs at Vocational High Schools (SMK), as well as to identify the advantages, limitations, and effectiveness of both approaches. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) referring to PRISMA guidelines. Literature searches were conducted through scientific databases with a publication range from 2019 to 2026. From the selection process, 15 articles that met the inclusion criteria were obtained and analyzed qualitatively using a narrative synthesis. The research results indicate that the Logic Model approach is effective in mapping program structures systematically through the relationships between inputs, processes, outputs, and outcomes, making it easier to understand program flow and result achievements. Meanwhile, Theory-Based Evaluation is superior in explaining the mechanisms of change and the cause-and-effect relationships underlying program success. Nevertheless, this approach has a higher level of complexity and requires more in-depth data. The conclusion of this research shows that there is no single approach that is entirely superior, so the integration of Logic Model and Theory-Based Evaluation becomes the most effective strategy in producing a comprehensive, systematic, and evidence-based program evaluation. This integrative approach is recommended to improve the quality of educational program evaluations in vocational high schools (SMK).

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the effects of digital competence and organizational support on work procrastination, both individually and simultaneously. The research employs a quantitative descriptive approach using Likert-scale questionnaires and field observations. The population includes all ASN in the General Bureau of the West Sumatra Governor’s Office, with a sample of 103 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS to test the validity, reliability, and relationships among variables. The results indicate that high digital competence reduces the tendency to procrastinate, as employees are more capable of managing administrative applications and filing systems effectively. Organizational support, including facilities, training, and technical guidance, enhances employee readiness and motivation. Simultaneous analysis confirms that the combination of both factors significantly suppresses procrastination, while deficiencies in either or both increase the risk of delayed task completion. The study implies that enhancing digital competence and optimizing organizational support are effective strategies for reducing procrastination, improving productivity, and strengthening bureaucratic readiness to meet technology-based administrative demands. Digital transformation in bureaucracy depends not only on technology but also on individual capacity and a supportive work environment, making these findings relevant for policy development, human resource management, and bureaucratic improvement strategies.

Abstract

The complexity of business activities is pushing for concise, relevant, and comprehensive reporting. Integrated reporting (IR) is a response to the limitations of conventional reporting. In practice, IR is often presented in a lengthy and less integrated, making it less effective as a communication tool with stakeholders. This study examines the role of conciseness in IR and its application in two countries: South Africa and Indonesia. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with conceptual analysis supported by a comparison of IR from two companies in the banking sector. Data were collected through document analysis of the companies’ 2024 integrated reports. The analysis was based on several indicators, such as the length of the report, the application of the six capitals framework, content elements, guiding principles, and the format of information presentation. The results showed that the level of conciseness is influenced by the interconnection of information, report structure, and the use of visualizations. Reports that are structured in an integrated way and supported by visualizations tend to be more concise, structured, and easy to understand, whereas reports dominated by narrative tend to be longer and less focused. The findings showed that the higher the level of IR adoption maturity, the more concise, structured, and visually-based the resulting reports are, while lower levels of adoption maturity tend to produce longer and less integrated reports.

Abstract

Learning psychology is a branch of science that plays a crucial role in understanding students' learning processes. In educational practice, some learning approaches still do not fully consider psychological aspects, resulting in suboptimal learning outcomes. Therefore, understanding the scope of learning psychology is crucial, particularly in the context of Islamic Religious Education. This study aims to describe and analyze the scope of learning psychology, including its definition, methods, and benefits in improving learning effectiveness. This study employed a qualitative approach with library research, using books, scientific journal articles, and relevant previous research as data sources. Data collection was conducted through documentation studies, while data analysis employed descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results show that learning psychology addresses not only changes in individual behavior during the learning process but also encompasses cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects influenced by various internal and external factors. Furthermore, learning psychology employs a variety of methods, such as clinical methods, questionnaires, experiments, case studies, and tests, that can be used to gain a deeper understanding of students' conditions. An understanding of learning psychology also provides significant benefits for educators in designing effective learning, creating a conducive learning environment, and optimally developing students' potential

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model, integrated with Islamic values, in the natural resources curriculum, as well as to improve the learning outcomes of Year 5 pupils at SDN 96 Campurejo, Luwu Regency. This study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted over two cycles, each comprising the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of 22 Year 5 pupils. Data collection techniques included observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used included qualitative analysis to examine teacher and student activities during learning, as well as quantitative analysis to analyse student learning outcomes through the calculation of average scores and the percentage of learning achievement. The results of the study indicate that the application of the PBL model integrated with Islamic values is capable of improving student learning outcomes. This is demonstrated by an increase in the students’ average score from 69.09 with a learning achievement rate of 59.05% in Cycle I to 81.81 with a learning achievement rate of 81.81% in Cycle II, thereby achieving the class standard. Thus, the implementation of the Project-Based Learning model based on Islamic values is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in the subject of natural resources at primary school level

Abstract

This study aims to examine the entrepreneurial motivation of resilient cosmetics entrepreneurs. This study employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The research participants consist of two individuals: a male and a female cosmetics entrepreneur. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews. Data analysis was carried out using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), which emphasises the process of reflecting on and interpreting the participants’ life experiences. The stages of analysis included repeated reading of the transcripts, initial note-taking, the development of emergent themes, the grouping of themes, and an in-depth interpretation of the meaning of the participants’ experiences. Data validity was ensured through credibility techniques, namely source triangulation and the verification of interpretative results with the participants. The research findings indicate that entrepreneurial motivation is influenced by intrinsic factors such as a desire for independence, interest, and a desire to improve well-being, as well as extrinsic factors such as social support, work experience, and market opportunities. Furthermore, aspects of risk tolerance, business viability, and a desire to work independently are key factors in driving the success of a cosmetics business.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Integration of Artificial Intelligence in Islamic Religious Education Learning Planning: A Phenomenological Study of Teachers’ Experiences. The study employed a phenomenological qualitative approach to explore the experiences of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in facing the digital transformation of the Society 5.0 era. Using the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) method, the research examined teachers’ perceptions, beliefs, and subjective experiences. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving 12–15 purposively selected teachers. The analysis followed IPA procedures, while data trustworthiness was ensured through the criteria of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The analysis results indicate that the readiness of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers is understood as a multidimensional construct encompassing technological competence, pedagogical transformation, ethical awareness, and institutional support. The integration of technology, especially AI, in learning is not only technical but rooted in Islamic values and strengthens the human role in the era of Society 5.0. This study has limitations in terms of the relatively small number of participants and context-specific focus on certain madrasahs, so the findings cannot yet be generalized widely. Future research is recommended to expand the locations, involve mixed methods approaches, and examine the effectiveness of AI implementation on learning quality and character development of students.

Abstract

Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD) is a key indicator of local government fiscal autonomy and is significantly influenced by the effectiveness of financial oversight and monitoring. This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of local financial oversight and monitoring in driving an increase in Bandung City’s PAD in 2023. The study employs a qualitative approach using a documentary study method. Data was collected through a review of PAD realisation reports, the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) documents, internal oversight reports, and regulations relating to local revenue management. The data was analysed descriptively and analytically by comparing PAD realisation achievements against the oversight mechanisms and monitoring systems implemented during 2023. The research findings indicate that strengthening internal oversight and implementing a digital monitoring system contribute positively to increasing PAD, particularly in the local tax sector. More systematic reporting and monitoring transparency encourages improved compliance and reduces the potential for revenue leakage. However, this study also identified constraints regarding limited human resources and data integration between agencies. Overall, effective financial oversight and monitoring play a crucial role in supporting accountable and sustainable increases in PAD.

Abstract

Public financial oversight is a key instrument in ensuring transparency in the management of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD). This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of public financial oversight in supporting APBD transparency in Magetan Regency. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilising secondary data collected through the review and analysis of official local government documents, financial reports, relevant regulations, and pertinent academic journals. The data were analysed using content analysis techniques to examine financial oversight practices and their openness to the public. The results indicate that public financial oversight in Magetan Regency has been relatively effective, as evidenced by the attainment of an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the State Audit Agency for three consecutive years during the 2021–2023 period. Nevertheless, the transparency of the APBD has not yet been fully optimised due to the limited publication of budget documents, low public participation in the planning process, and the underutilisation of information technology in the dissemination of budget information. These findings indicate that the strengthening of transparency aspects needs to be carried out continuously so that public financial oversight can have a more tangible impact on the accountability of APBD management

Abstract

This study aims to examine instructional design based on the principles of pedagogy, andragogy and heutagogy within the context of Islamic education. The study employs a qualitative approach through a systematic literature review of relevant articles from reputable journals, academic books and conference proceedings. Data were analysed using thematic analysis to identify patterns related to learner autonomy, instructional control, and learning outcomes. The findings indicate that instructional design is a dynamic and integrative process that must be capable of adapting to the diversity of learners’ characteristics. Pedagogy, andragogy, and heutagogy are understood as a continuum of learning approaches reflecting a shift from teacher-centred learning towards self-directed and self-determined learning. In the context of Islamic education, these three approaches complement one another as they align with the integration of intellectual, spiritual, and moral aspects. This study highlights the fundamental differences between the three approaches in terms of the roles of learners and educators, learning orientation, and evaluation strategies; consequently, an integrated instructional design model is required to address the challenges of contemporary education
