Abstract

Dengan adanya modifikasi alat kendali air conditioner (AC) split ini, airconditioner (AC) akan mati dengan sendirinya apabila orang tersebutlupa dalam mematikan AC ketika meninggalkan ruangan. Hal ini dapatmenghemat daya listrik yang dipakai pada ruangan tersebut, menjagakompresor AC agar tidak mudah rusak dan memiliki umur pakai (lifetime) yang panjang. Untuk mem-backup ketika lupa mematikan airconditioner (AC) split maka penulis membuat modifikasi alat kendaliAC tersebut secara sederhana, akan tetapi tidak mengurangi fungsidaripada peralatan yang ada. Modifikasi alat kendali air conditioner(AC) split ini menggunakan mikrokontroler sebagai pengontrol, sensorPIR untuk mendeteksi keberadaan seseorang, sensor arus sebagaikomunikasi antara mikrokontroler dengan air conditioner (AC) dan relaysebagai aktuatornya. Demikian modifikasi ini semoga dapat digunakanuntuk backup ketika terjadi kelalaian saat meninggalkan ruangan tanpamematikan air conditioner (AC), sehingga dapat mengatasi masalahyang ada.

Abstract

Sekolah Tinggi Penerbangan Indonesia STPI saat ini sedang meningkatkansarana dan prasarana untuk menunjang kegiatan belajar, salah satunyatelah dibangun gedung baru Jurusan Teknik Penerbangan, menggantikangedung Jurusan Teknik Penerbangan yang lama. Suatu gedung yangdigunakan untuk gegiatan belajar harus mempunyai penerangan yangmemadai, yang sesuai dengan standar intensitas penerangan SNI(Standar Nasional Indonesia), guna untuk menciptakan suatu ruanganyang nyaman untuk kegiatan belajar. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuranintensitas penerangan di gedung baru Jurusan Teknik PenerbanganSekolah Tinggi Penerbangan Indonesia, dari 46 ruangan terdapat 1ruangan yang belum memenuhi standar intensitas penerangan SNI(Standar Nasional Indonesia). Untuk itu diperlukan suatu perancanganulang titik lampu dan jenis lampu pada ruangan yang belum memenuhistandar intensitas penerangan SNI (Standar Nasional Indonesia), agardapat memenuhi standar intensitas penerangan yang di anjurkan SNIsesuai dengan fungsi ruangan.

Abstract

Tenaga listrik dalam aktifitas akademik merupakan suatu hal yang sudahmenjadi kebutuhan pokok. Dalam aktifitas akademik listrik memiliki banyakmanfaat tetapi disisi lain memiliki resiko besar yang dapat membahayakan bagipemakainya apabila salah dalam penanganan dan penggunaannya sehingga akanberakibat fatal sampai merenggut nyawa manusia.Pentanahan merupakan salah satu sistem yang terdapat pada instalasi listrik.Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilaitahanan pentanahan pada jaringan listrik tegangan rendah (tegangan jala) untukbangunan yang mendukung kegiatan akademik Sekolah Tinggi PenerbanganIndonesia.Hasil keseluruhan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, menyatakan bahwa nilaitahanan pentanahan dari hasil pengukuran sampel, didapatkan dengan nilaitertinggi 320 ohm, nilai terendah 0,8 ohm, jika dilihat dari hasil pengukuran 80titik sampel, didapatkan 17 titik sampel yang bermasalah dengan variasipermasalahan yang disebabkan karena usia pakai dan faktor lingkungan, tindaklanjut pada nilai tahanan pentanahan yang lebih besar dari 10 ohm memerlukanpenangan berupa perbaikan agar dapat memperkecil peluang terjadinya bahayasengat listrik pada pengguna.

Abstract

The research aims to calculate the runway occupancy time (ROT) at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. ROTs are crucial in calculating the runway capacity, which can influence the time it takes for the aircraft to exit the runways after landing or enter a runway before takeoff. This may have an impact on the quantity of aircraft that utilize the runway for takeoffs and landings within an hour. The Runway Occupancy Time calculation model, which is the Doratask model in the Runway Capacity Calculation Manual, is employed in this study along with quantitative methodologies and questionnaires. The data collection techniques used are observations, documentation studies and interviews. The results of this study showed that the average ROT at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport was 95.36 seconds for ROTT and 54.63 seconds for the ROTL.

Abstract

Flight safety is a crucial aspect of the aviation industry, heavily reliant on optimal runway conditions for successful takeoffs and landings. Foreign Object Debris (FOD) such as stones and potholes on the runway pose significant threats, necessitating preventive measures to avoid operational failures and aircraft damage. This research focuses on designing an image processing application for drone usage to enhance runway inspections. The Research and Development (R&D) method is employed from application design to field testing. Image processing utilizes the You Only Look Once (YOLO) method for swift and accurate FOD detection, maximizing drone effectiveness in identifying risks. Findings indicate that object size and image capture distance significantly affect detection performance. This analysis provides a basis for model optimization through improved data augmentation techniques and parameter adjustments to address challenges in detecting objects of various sizes.

Abstract

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, there has been a change in the efficiency and workload of Avsec, and after the Pandemic the number of passengers continued to increase and finally the pattern and workload of Avsec changed again. To understand the changes in Avsec performance, this research aims to determine the influence of workload and work discipline on the performance of Avsec. The research method uses a quantitative approach with primary questionnaire data and a sample size of 56 Avsec at Sultan Babullah Airport in Ternate. The data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression and descriptive analysis. The research results show that workload and work discipline have different influences on Avsec’s performance in each assignment area. However, the results of the descriptive analysis in each area on average have very high criteria, which means that the workload and work discipline to achieve performance according to security targets/standards is optimal among Avsec at Sultan Babullah Airport in Ternate.

Abstract

Background: Electric Vehicles (EV) have become a popular choice as an environmentally friendly transportation alternative. The Indonesian government supports the use of electric vehicles through various policies. However, the increasing number of electric vehicles brings new challenges, particularly related to safety, namely electric vehicle fires. The development and implementation of handling strategies are needed considering electric vehicle fires are unique and different from conventional vehicle fires. The use of extinguishing agents is believed to have a significant impact in addressing electric vehicle fire challenges. Method: Scoping Review following the PRISMA-ScR guidelines with a PEO framework. Searches through Science Direct and Google Scholar from 2014 to 2024, article filtering using Mendeley and Covidence. Results: A total of 230 articles were obtained, after which article filtering was conducted, selecting 9 articles that were relevant and met the criteria. This review identifies three main themes: types of extinguishing agents, methods of use, and trial results. Groups of solid, liquid, gas, foam, and chemical extinguishing agents can be used alone or in combination, showing the effectiveness of extinguishing agents in lowering temperatures to address fire hazards associated with electric vehicles. Conclusion: The use of various extinguishing agents has proven effective in handling electric vehicle fires.

Abstract

The global reporting format at Juwata International Airport, Tarakan is still inefficient and uses too much paper. The purpose of this paper is to make global reporting format more efficient and not use a lot of paper / paperless. The method used to overcome the above problems is to digitize the global reporting format using the website US a platforms for data entry forms so that they are easier to fill out and efficient. The results of the website usage test shows that filling in the global reporting format data is efficient and paperless and the website can be used when online. Based on the results of the above method, it is concluded that digitizing reporting is very efficient and does not use a lot of paper, and can help in storing the recap of reporting results so that reporting data is note lost and neatly arranged.

Abstract

Air Traffic Controllers have two main objectives, namely ensuring flight safety and creating maximum efficiency for the orderly flow of air traffic. This study aims to find out and solve problems that occur related to IFR flights from Palangka Raya to Pontianak because there is no ATS Route. This study uses the Research and Development level one method with data collection techniques, namely preliminary studies using gap analysis, needs analysis using interviews, and validation using interviews with experts in the field of Aviation.

Abstract

In Banyuwangi, seaplane flight operations are conducted by the Banyuwangi Indonesian Aviation Academy with a water aerodrome located in the waters of Teluk Pangpang, Banyuwangi. The purpose of this research is to identify environmental factors that can cause accidents during seaplane flight training at the Teluk Pangpang Water Aerodrome in Banyuwangi. The techniques used in the data collection process include field observations, interviews, and documentation. The sample used in this study was taken from the entire population, which includes all team members involved in the seaplane flight operations at the Banyuwangi Indonesian Aviation Academy. Based on the data collected, it can be concluded that the factors contributing to seaplane accidents include the 4Ms: Man (human factors), Machine (machine factors), Media (media or environmental factors), and Management (management factors). The study found that environmental factors posing risks to seaplane flight activities include high sea waves and bird migration in Teluk Pangpang.
