Abstract

This article explains the models of approaches taken by Muslim communities in addressing religious conflicts. There are two approaches among Muslims: a closed-minded approach and an open-minded approach. The former thinks that there is no need to respond to changing situations, while the latter thinks that understanding and interpretation of Islam needs to change depending on the time and situation. In other words, understanding Islam requires other knowledge to make Islam more applicable, socialised and cultured. These two approaches have resulted in the classification of Muslim communities, including Puritan, Moderate and Cosmopolitan Muslim communities. Puritan is someone who has absolutist thinking and demands clarity in interpreting the text. Moderates are people who avoid extreme behaviours and expressions. While cosmopolitan is a person who has an international or global outlook or attitude.

Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 31 respondents selected by purposive sampling, with the criteria of employees who have worked at least one year in the company. The questionnaire consists of demographic questions, questions about transformational leadership, performance environment, and employee performance, with a 5-point Likert scale to measure respondent responses. The data obtained were then analyzed using SmartPLS software. The analysis stages include testing the measurement model (outer model) to ensure the validity and reliability of the instrument by testing the Average Variance Extracted (AVE), Composite Reliability (CR), and Cronbach's Alpha. Furthermore, testing the structural model (inner model) is carried out to test the research hypothesis by looking at the path coefficient value and significance level (p-value). Transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance with an original sample value of 0.641, a T-statistic value of 3.782 and a p-value of 0.000. With this leadership style focusing on inspiration and motivation, which is able to encourage employees to achieve their maximum potential Performance environment does not affect employee performance with an original sample value of 0.299, and a p-value of 0.069. These results indicate that the p-value of 0.069 is greater than 0.05. Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in empowering the community's economy, especially in rural areas. MSMEs are known as the main drivers of the local economy that make significant contributions to creating jobs, increasing household income, and reducing poverty. This study uses a qualitative literature approach by collecting and analyzing data from various literature sources, including books, journal articles, research reports, and relevant government documents. The results of the study indicate that MSMEs have a strategic role in diversifying the local economy, increasing competitiveness, and empowering communities through improving human resource skills and capacity. However, MSMEs also face various challenges, such as limited access to capital and financing, lack of training and mentoring, and limited market access. Therefore, greater support is needed from the government, financial institutions, and the private sector to overcome these obstacles and optimize the role of MSMEs in sustainable economic development. This study is expected to provide insights and recommendations for policy makers and MSME actors in increasing the contribution of MSMEs to community economic empowerment.

Abstract

The concept of husband-wife relations in the KHI which states that the husband is the head of the family and the wife is the housewife has carried a negative stigma. Husbands feel entitled to everything, do not provide freedom for their wives, religious arguments are often used to justify arrogance so it is not surprising that domestic violence (KDRT) often occurs. This concept in today's social situation is seen as having given rise to legal injustice and is irrelevant, especially from a gender justice perspective. The aim of this research is to further examine the concept of husband-wife relations in the KHI from the perspective of mubjadi theory. Practically, this study is expected to give birth to a new paradigm for the concept of husband-wife relations and can be accommodated in the articles of the KHI. The type of research used is library research. This research is qualitative in nature using descriptive-qualitative techniques to clearly describe the concept of husband-wife relations in KHI and then analysis is carried out using mubjadi theory. The results of the research conclude that the concept of husband-wife relations in the KHI, namely article 79 paragraph 1 concerning the position of husband and wife and articles 80, 84 and 152 concerning nusyuz in the perspective of Mubjadi theory is considered gender biased because it is not equal and not egalitarian. The concept of husband-wife relationship must be built on the basis of pairing (zawaj), mutuality (mubjadi), partnership (mu'awanah), and cooperation (musyarakah). Therefore, it is necessary to immediately reconceptualize KHI so that the concept of husband-wife relations is fair and can support the creation of a sakinah mawaddah and warahmah family.
