Abstract

AbstractThe terminology of plants in the Sambas malay society proverb in this study is seen from the form, the lexical meaning, the meaning of the analogy, and the cultural meaning. The method used in this research is descriptive linguistics. The approach used in this research is the ethnolinguistic approach. The data source of this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data of this study were taken from the field orally from informants. Secondary data in this research is the data written as corpus data obtained from the book "1001 PantunPeribahasa" by Sudiadi. Techniques used in this study, namely interviewing techniques, record and note, and documentation. Data collection tools in the research, namely voice recorder and notebook. Based on research conducted, the researchers succeeded in collecting 65 terms of plants in the adage of Sambas malaysociety. The overall data is obtained from the interview and recording process. Plant terminology in the study consists of three terms, namely monomorphemic (single word) of 32 terms, polymorphism (derived words) of 5 terms, and phrases as many as 28 terms. The term of the plant as a whole has the meaning of as many as 65 lectical terms. the meaning of the analogy of 65 terms, and the cultural sense of 26 terms. Abstract

Abstract: The aims of this study were to measure the feasibility of the flipbook  as the learning media sub of the fern (Pteridophyta) materials of senior high school class X. The form of the study with descriptive method. Validation sheet was used as the intrument of research. The flipbook media was examined by two lecturers of biologic education study program of FKIP Untan and three of biology teachers of class X in three different school in sebawi district and the surrounding. Based on the assessment of validators, the flipbook  was valid with the average score Content Validity Index (CVI) 0,88 and feasible as the learning media sub of the fern (Pteridophyta) materials. Key words: Feasibility, flipbook, ferns.

Abstract

 Abstract       The main problem that is problem in understanding of IPA caused by some matter in science lesson include abstract stuff, which can not be analyzed directly with the sense of sight so that is difficult to be understood by learners, therefore need media learning media media pageflip e-book In order to help learners in improving the learning process and learning outcomes especially on science subjects for circulatory organ material. 3D media pageflip e-book in science lessons This study uses the development stage of Borg and Gall, with the subject of research is the V-class students of 19 people. Data were obtained through expert validation questionnaires, observations, interviews, student response questionnaires, and documentation. Further data analysis is done on the results of expert validation, observation, interview and questionnaire response of learners. it can be seen from the pretest result that is before the learning process using 3D media pageflip e-book 94% not complete and 6 % Completion that has increased in poststroke result that is after learning process using 3D media pageflip e-book is 100% complete and 0% unfinished, so from that percentage of students progress in learning process of circulation organs using 3D media pagefli e -book.  Key words: 3D Media pageflip E-Book, Organ Circulation, Borg and Gall.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to describe the ability of student’s creative thinking in solving open start problems at SMPN 2 Pontianak. Method used was descriptive in form survey. The subject in this research was 36 students of the VIII F class of SMPN 2 Pontianak. Tools of data collection are written test to discover the ability of students’ creative thinking in solving open start problems; and interview to verify the test results. The results of creative thinking ability test show that most students are only able to solve problems using one way correctly, and the way is that teachers teach in the classroom. The ability of students creative thinking is included in the medium category with an average score of 4,16 or 41,67 %. The ability of students to think fluency included in the middle category with an average score is 0,86 or 43,05%. The ability of students to think flexibel included in the middle category with an average score 1,78 or 44,44%. The ability of students to think novelty included in the low category wwith an average score 1,47 or 36,80%.Keywords: Creative Thinking Ability, Open Start Problem

Abstract

Abstract The aims of this research to describe type, meaning and function forms of language, along with implementation of learning types and function of language form in the elucidation of the short story collection Arif Saifun Kojeh toward Indonesian subjects in school. This research specifically examines the belles-lettres that collection short story Kembalinya Tarian Sang Waktu by Arif Saifun Kojeh. The method used is descriptive method and approach that aims to phenomenological stylistics research issues in accordance with the facts. Short story analyzed as nine stories. The result showed the types of language form is most often to arise is personification, metaphor, hyperbole, litotes, and simile. The amount number of language form consist of 81 numbered form as personification, metaphor language form amount to 83, are 39 form of hyperbolic language, the form litotes language totaled 10, and totaled 9 of simile language form. Meaning contained in the short story collection Kembalinya Tarian Sang Waktu by Arif Saifun Kojeh mostly inclined to connotative and denotative containing about advices life, religiosity, social criticism, and romance.The function of language in this short story form in collection Kembalinya Tarian Sang Waktu By Kojeh Arif Saifun is both an aesthetic so that makes every story in this collection short story was interest and fresh.Furthermore, the other function is to enhancing reading and strengthens the idea in literature. Keyword: Type, Function, and Stylistics

Abstract

AbstrackThe title of this research is the use of scramble model to improve student learning activity. The method used in this research is descriptive method, the type of research is classroom action research (Classroom Action Research) and the nature of research that is collaborative. Data collecting technique used is direct observation technique. This research was conducted for three cycles with the results obtained that is 1) the ability of teachers in planning learning by using a model of scramble from cycle I ie 3.62, cycle II 3.74, cycle III 3.92. 2) the ability of teachers in the implementation of learning using scramble model from cycle I is 3.26, cycle II 3.55, cycle III 3.83. 3) student learning activity using scramble model starting from cycle I that is 49,52%, cycle II 69,52% and cycle III 87,61%. With the results obtained show that using the model scramble in learning Citizenship Education can improve the learning activities of fourth graders Elementary School 11 Pontianak City Keywords : Learning activities, Scramble

Abstract

Abstract The purposes of this research were to know the difference between the critical thinking skills of the students of class XI MAN 1 Pontianak which is taught using predict-observe-explain (POE) learning and is taught using conventional model and know the influence of predict-observe-explain (POE) learning model on students' critical thinking skills on colloid subjects. The form of this research is Quasi Experiment with research design "Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design". The sample of this research is the students of class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class and XI IPA 2 as the control class. The measurement technique was used is technique of data collection.. The data collecting tool of this research is critical thinking skills test in the form of essay. Statistical test result using U Mann-Whitney test with α = 0,05 obtained value Z = -4,713 with Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 located at the acceptance area. This shows that there is a significant difference between the critical thinking skills  of the students of class XI IPA MAN 1 Pontianak taught using predict-observe-explain (POE) learning and taught using conventional model on colloid subjects. The effect of POE learning model obtained percentage of 30,23 % calculated using effect size.  Keywords: POE Model, Critical Thinking Skills, Colloid

Abstract

AbstractThis reseach aims to know the feasibility of pop-up book media variety of macroscopic fungi in Hutan Lindung Gunung Naning, as a learning media on biodiversity material in X SMA. This reseach consist of two step. First step is making of pop-up book media and second step is validation of pop-up book media. This reseach was quantitative with descriptive method. Pop-up book media validated by five validators, two lecture pg biology Education FKIP Untan, and there teachers of biology X SMA. One teacher from SMA/MA Negeri 1 Nanga Taman, one teacher from SMA/MA Negeri 1 Sekadau Hulu, and one teacher from SMA/MA Negeri 1 Nanga Mahap. Instrument for validation pop-up book media using validation sheet comprise of ten criteria, with analysis data using Content Validity Ratio (CVR) dan Content Validity Indeks (CVI). Based on data analysis of the validation result, pop-up book media is valid with the value of each Content Validity Ratio (CVR) from ten criteria is 1,00 with Content Validity Indeks (CVI) value is 1,00, so pop-up book media fit to use as learning media on biodiversity material.Keywords: Pop-up book Media, Feasibility, Material Biodiversity

Abstract

 AbstrackThis study aimed to analyze the effect of using the power of two strategy in learning civic education towards students outcome of the fifth grade of elementary schools in Pontianak subdistrict. The method used is experiment with the form of quasi experimental design. The population in this study is the entire fifth grade of elementary schools in Pontianak subditrict with special criteria, consisted of 431 people. Based on data analysis obtained average yield post-test student 74,67. Based on the analysis of hypothesis testing using t-test  is obtained  = 3,10 was obtained    = 1,997, which means t_hitung (3,10)> t table (1,997), so Ha is received. So we can conclude that there is an influence on the implementation of the power of two strategy in learning civic education towards students outcome of the fifth grade of elementary schools in Pontianak subdistrict. Abstract

 Abstract This research aims to understand the influence of the use of a Teory Slavin Team Assisted Individulization of the results of the learning social science a student of class v sds Mujahidin south Pontianak.Population in this research is all students grade V academic year 2016 / 2017 which consisted of 168 people.Sample in this research were students grade 5 which consisted of 168 people consisting of 35 the VB and 35 the V A ( class eksperimen).Instrument gatherer data of student learning the test results obtained from pre test and post test. The results of the study , obtained the average test results final grade control 60,78 and the average test results final grade 74,49 experiments obtained thitung of 3,8403 and ttabel with α = 5% and dk = 68 as much as , which means thitung (3,8403) > ttabel (1,9974), thus then Ha accepted .Of reckoning as effect size (ES), obtained ice as much as 0,93 ( criteria high ) .This means that learning with the use of the kind of classroom Teory Slavin Team Assisted Individualization a difference that high evaluation learning outcomes from the classroom v of public elementary school Mujahidin . Keyword : Influence, Learning TeorySlavin, Study Result, Civit Education
