Abstract

Language is basically a practical symbol to identify the region and tribe of the speakers. Language becomes a tool for people to communicate with each other in everyday life. One of the regional languages that become the nation's cultural wealth is Sambas Dialect Malay. Sambas Dialect Malay is always used by the community in various activities, one of which is the implementation of the Ngamping tradition. In the current era, many young people are starting to forget their respective regional cultures. Therefore, the researcher wants to inventory the ngamping tradition starting from the form of lingual units, lexical meaning, cultural meaning, and vocabulary function. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative research form. The research data obtained in the form of words and phrases from informants through direct interview techniques with informants related to the location of the object under study, namely Rambayan Village, Sambas Regency. The results of this study amounted to 44 vocabularies which were divided into 31 monomorphemic data, 2 polymorphic data, and 11 phrase data. The data also produced 41 lexical meanings, 3 cultural meanings, and 44 vocabulary functions. The data were obtained based on actors, activity names, place names, cultural names, food names, and names of ingredients and tools.

Abstract

The phenomenon of misconceptions in special angle trigonometry learning constitutes a significant impediment affecting mathematical understanding construction among students. This research aims to analyze remediation strategy implementation through clinical interview approaches integrated with GeoGebra technology to overcome conceptual distortions within trigonometric domains. Qualitative methodology with case study design was applied to three Grade XI subjects from SMAS Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak who were identified experiencing dominant misconceptions based on diagnostic assessment outcomes. Data collection techniques involved instrument triangulation through diagnostic pre-testing, clinical interview implementation assisted by GeoGebra visualization, and post-intervention evaluation. Data analysis employed Miles-Huberman framework with reduction, display, and finding verification procedures. Investigation results identified three systematic misconception categories: procedural memorization-based computational distortions, inadequate conceptual generalizations, and erroneous specialization interpretations of trigonometric values. Remedial intervention demonstrated substantial effectiveness with misconception elimination rates reaching 89% for two subjects, while the third subject retained one residual misconception aspect. GeoGebra's dynamic visualization facilitated understanding reconstruction through interactive geometric representations that activated multiple modalities of cognitive processing. These findings confirm that integrating clinical interviews with adaptive learning technology produces paradigmatic transformation from rote learning toward sustainable and transferable conceptual understanding construction in trigonometric contexts. The research contributes innovative pedagogical frameworks for mathematical misconception remediation through technology-enhanced diagnostic approaches.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to improve the learning achievement of class VII students of SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak on temperature and changes by applying a guided inquiry model. This study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. Determination of the sample in this study using the Intact Group Random Sampling method with the number of class VII E SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak as many as 29 students. To see whether there is an influence in using the guided inquiry model on student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak, the classes selected to be sampled are VII E and VII F where class VII E is the control class and VII F is the experimental class. . The research instrument is a google form test to measure student achievement about temperature and change. Based on the data analyzed by Wilcoxon, there was an increase in student achievement from 33.7 to 77.5. The effectiveness of the application of "The Guided Inquiry Model" in learning physics is shown by the effect size of 3.15. That is a high category according to Cohen's category. Keywords: Guided Inquiry, Students Achievement, Temperature and changes

The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative research design. The subjects in this study include the Head of the Kindergarten and two class teachers. The data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis conducted consists of 1. Data collection. 2. Data reduction. 3. Data display. 4. Conclusion drawing/verification. The techniques to verify data validity include source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. The research results on the role of teachers in guiding early childhood show that teachers still lack in guiding and serving as models and role models for children, such as throwing trash in the proper place, arriving on time at school, wearing uniforms according to regulations, guiding children to pray before and after lessons, directing children to tidy up toys after use, and instructing children to line up neatly. The conclusion of this study is that the role of teachers as guides, motivators, models, and role models is crucial in assisting students in developing positive behavior, encouraging them to be disciplined, and improving the quality of education in schools.
