Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media in the Curriculum Review and Economic Learning Planning course at Tanjungpura University. This study was motivated by the limited interactive learning media that can help students understand abstract material and increase active participation in the learning process. Qualitative methods were used with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation and interviews with lecturers and students involved in the course. The results of the study showed that both lecturers and students needed innovative and contextual learning media. Lecturers said that Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media can help explain complex curriculum concepts visually and interactively, so that they are easier for students to understand. Meanwhile, students stated that the use of Augmented Reality (AR) media can increase interest in learning, clarify understanding of the material, and provide a more enjoyable learning experience. This study concludes that there is a significant need for the development of Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media in this course, in order to support the achievement of student competencies optimally. The recommendations from this study are the development of an Augmented Reality (AR) media prototype that suits learning needs, training on media use for lecturers, and integration of Augmented Reality (AR) into curriculum planning. These findings contribute to innovation in economic learning in higher education and encourage the use of digital technology in education.

This study examines strategies to improve service performance at the Tirta Senentang Drinking Water Company (PERUMDA) using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation with six informants: three employees and three customers from different distribution points. The findings show that PERUMDA has implemented strategies such as enhancing raw water processing, refining production, extending operating hours, expanding service access through government support, and strengthening customer complaint handling. These efforts resulted in better service, demonstrated by a 100% resolution of complaints, 83.3% water quality achievement, and a minimum of 18 hours daily supply. Strengths include leadership commitment, local government support, and clear service SOPs, while weaknesses involve customer appreciation and dependence on water sources. Opportunities arise from government programs and public awareness, while threats relate to environmental issues and fluctuating customer numbers. In conclusion, through SWOT analysis, the company develops strategies that maximize strengths and opportunities while reducing weaknesses and threats to ensure sustainable service performance.

Abstract

This study looks into how visual media affects how well fourth graders do in IPAS classes, particularly about the matter of cultural diversity at MI Karangduren. The study was started because students weren't doing well, which is thought to be because they didn't have enough hands-on and interactive learning tools. with a quantitative approach that uses a quasiexperimental design with a control group that is different from the experimental group. The study comprised 52 people. They were divided into two factions: the experimental group learned with diorama media, and the control group learned with regular teaching materials. A multiple-choice test with 30 validated questions was used to get the data. The research showed a clear difference in the results of the posttest, with the experimental group doing better. The t-test showed that the calculated t-value (3.0679) was higher than the crucial value (2.021), which means that diorama media had a big effect on how well students learned. These results show that using dioramas as a teaching technique in IPAS education could be useful. Future research should look into how well it works for different subjects and levels of schooling.
