Abstract

AbstractThis research purpose is to know the influence of applying role playing methode assisted by comics in learning Citizenship Education to the learning result of third grade students of Bawamai Primary School Pontianak. The research method is experimental as Pre-Experimental Design of non equivalent control group design. The population of all students from two classes is 64 people, the sample of this research is IIIB students with 33 people as experimental classes and IIIC as a control class with 31 people. The Used Data collection techniques are measurement techniques and data collector tools are written tests of multiple choice. The average post-test results of experimental class is 79.06 and the control post-test average is 71.89. The result of hypothesis test using t-test (T-test) obtained t count = 36,10 whereas for dk (33 + 31-2 = 62) with significance level ? = 5% obtained t table = 1,676, which means t count> t tabel, , this proves that there is an effect of applying role playing role-playing asisted by comics in learning civic education. Based on result of calculation of effect size (ES) obtained ES = 0.67 which included medium criteria, about 0,67 <0,8. Thus it can be said that the application of role playing role playing comic in study of Citizenship Education gives positive influence to student learning result of third class Bawamai Primary School Pontianak. Keywords: Influence, Role Playing Method, Comics, Citizenship Education, Learning                  Result.

Abstract

AbstractThis study focused on marine lexicons in Malay language Sukadana. The research problem was how the form of the lingual unit of marine lexicon, the meaning of the marine lexicon, retains the Sukadana Malay language lexicon on adolescent, adult, and old speakers, as well as the RPP Indonesian alternative model with material on marine class VII Semester I according to the 2013 curriculum. Based on the analysis found 81 data of marine lexicons in Malay language Sukadana which are divided into two research groups, namely the activity of capturing marine products including lexicons of transportation equipment, there are 3 lexicon data, there are 15 lexicon data, there are 37 lexicon data, and part use techniques Fishing gear has 12 lexicon data, while marine processing activities include the name of food processing, there are 4 lexicon data, the name of material processing is 9 lexicon data, and the name of production processing is 1 lexicon data. Understanding of marine lexicons in Sukadana Malay language for adolescents 15-20 years old, adults 21-45, and aged ≥ 46 years for 81 lexicons from the results of research on understanding the lexicon of marine language in Sukadana Malay still persists among those ages. Keywords: Embedding Lexicon,Marine Lexicon, Meaning of Language Supplement            Text Indonesia

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted to improve descriptive text writing of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 17 and their use of noun phrases, simple present tense, and sentences writing in descriptive text by using personal photographs. The research was conducted in form of classroom action research. Subject of the research was seventh grade students of VII B class of SMP Negeri 17 Pontianak of academic year 2016/2017. In this research, the students made improvement during teaching and learning process as well as in writing descriptive text by using personal photographs. The students could also improve their use of noun phrases and simple present tense as well as their sentences writing in descriptive text by using personal photographs. After that, the students enjoyed and were happy in using personal photographs in their learning process as well as in writing descriptive text. Therefore, it indicated that personal photographs improved descriptive text writing of seventh grade students of VIIB of SMP Negeri 17.      Keywords: personal photographs, writing, descriptive text.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to know whether or not the use of REAP strategy is effective in teaching students reading comprehension on descriptive text. The researcher conducted this research in English Education Study Program, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak in academic year 2014/2015. This research was conducted as a pre-experimental research with the one group pre-test post-test. The sample of this research was 35 students. The data were collected through pre-test and post-test by using multiple choices test consisting of twenty items. The finding shows that there are significant difference of the students? achievement that can be proved by t-test is higher than t-table. Moreover, the effect of treatment is categorized as modest effect. It indicates that the use of REAP strategy is effective in teaching reading comprehension especially in teaching descriptive text. Therefore, REAP strategy is a good strategy used to develop students? better understanding in reading and thinking through the use of writing.   Keywords: REAP strategy, Reading Comprehension. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan penggunaan strategi REAP efektif atau tidak dalam mengajarkan pemahaman membaca siswa dalam teks deskriptif. Peneliti melaksanakan penelitian ini pada Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, FKIP UNTAN, Pontianak, tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode pre-experimental dengan satu grup pre-test post-test. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 35 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test dan post-test dengan menggunakan test pilihan ganda terdiri dari 10 soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan dari pencapaian siswa yang dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai t-test lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai t-table. Selanjutnya, pengaruh dari perlakuan dikategorikan cukup berpengaruh. Hal ini menandakan bahwa penggunaan strategi REAP efektif dalam mengajarkan pemahaman membaca siswa khususnya dalam mengajarkan teks deskriptif teks. Oleh karena itu, strategi REAP adalah sebuah strategi yang baik digunakan untuk mengembangkan pemahaman siswa yang baik dalam membaca dan berfikir melalui penggunaan menulis.   Kata kunci: Strategi REAP, Pemahaman Membaca.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas pembelajaran IPS menggunakan Kooperatif Tipe STAD dikelas VI SDN 14 Benua Kayong Ketapang. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Terdapat peningkatan (1) Aktivitas fisik peserta didik dari base line 25 % ke siklus III 88 % terdapat peningkatan sebesar 63 % dengan kategori tinggi, (2) aktivitas mental peserta didik dari base line 18,4% ke siklus III 80,8% terdapat peningkatan sebesar 62,4% dengan kategori tinggi,(3) aktivitas emosional peserta didik dari base line 20% ke siklus III 80,6 % terjadi peningkatan sebesar 60,6 % dengan kategori tinggi. Disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan Kooperatif Tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan aktivitas fisik, mental, dan emosional siswa. Kata Kunci : Aktivitas Belajar, Kooperatif Tipe STAD, IPS   Abstract: The general purpose of this study to determine the  increase in activity of social scien learning using Cooperative Type STAD at class VI Elementary school 14 Benua Kayong Ketapang. The method used is descriptive. There is an increase in  (1) physical activity learners from base line 25% to 88% III cycle there is an increase of 63% with a high category, (2) mental activity learners from base line 18.4% to cycle III 80.8% there is an increase of 62.4% with high category, (3) emotional activity learners from base line 20% to cycle III 80.6% 60.6% increase occurred with a high category. Abstract

AbstractThis study aimsto determine the role of teachers in developing speaking skills through a method of telling stories to children aged 4-5 yearsin group A in Pontianak tunas bangsa police. Speaking skills have important role in education, both within the family, school and society. The goals to be achieved in developing speaking skills through storytelling methods are to develop language skills, including listening ability, speaking ability and adding vocabulary. In other words to develop basic abilities in early childhood, especially in developing speaking skills in children in group A of North Sumatra Shoots Pontianak. The research method used was descriptive with a qualitative approach. The sample is group  A children an teachers. The results of this study are that the teacher has tried his best to develop children’s speaking skills through a method of telling stories so that studentsare able to ad new vocabulary and experience. When the learning process takes place. Based on the results of the study, it was suggested that Tunas Bangsa Pontianak PAUD teachers maintan and improve the teaching method to tell the children to be more enthusiastic and motivated. Keywords: Teacher’s Role, Speech Ability, Storitelling Method

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang peranan guru dalam menanamkan perilaku sopan santun pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Assalam Pontianak Barat Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas B2 yang berjumlah satu orang. Setelah data terkumpul, dilakukan penyajian data untuk kemudian ditarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan peran guru sebagai inspirator dalam menanamkan perilaku sopan santun yaitu guru menunjukkan perilaku sopan santun dirinya kepada anak serta menjelaskan dan memberikan nasehat kepada anak. Peran guru sebagai model dalam menanamkan perilaku sopan santun yaitu guru merupakan  panutan serta menjadi contoh yang baik bagi anak didik yang terkait dengan perilaku sopan santun. Peran guru sebagai motivator dalam menanamkan perilaku sopan santun yaitu guru selalu memotivasi atau mendorong anak untuk lebih baik dengan memberikan pujian atau reword kepada anak. Kata Kunci: Peranan Guru, Perilaku Sopan Santun, Anak Usia Dini Abstract: This study aims to describe the role of teachers in imparting behavioral manners in children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Assalam West Pontianak in West Kalimantan. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. Subjects were classroom teachers B2 which amounted to one person. Once data is collected, made the presentation of data to then be deduced. The results of the study describes the role of teachers as inspiration in instilling behavioral manners that teachers behave in manners himself to the child and explain and give advice to children. The role of the teacher as a model for instilling manners of behavior that the teacher is a role model and a good example for the students related to the behavior manners. The role of the teacher as motivator in instilling behavioral manners that the teacher always motivate or encourage children to be better by giving praise or reword to children. Abstract

摘要:本文的主要目的是了解模仿教学法对学生学习汉语四声的效果,是否有效提高学生的汉语四声掌握能力。研究对象是Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa高中一年级社会一班的学生,共有30名学生(男生12名;女生18名)。研究方法是实验法和测试法。根据本文的教学实验以及前后测的统计与分析,笔者了解到模仿教学法能有效地提高学生掌握汉语四声的能力。从而取得 相当好的教学效果。 关键词:声调;四声;模仿教学法 Abstract:The purpose of this research is to know the effect of imitating teaching method for the student to learn Mandarin 4 tones, to know that if it can increase the students ability in mastering Mandarin 4 tones. The object of this research are students of the first grade of Senior High School Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa, social class one, with total students were 30 students (12 male; 18 female). The research method are practice and a  method of test . Based on analysis of the teaching learning process in the classroom and the result in pre-test and post-test, the writer gets that result imitating teaching method is effective in improving the ability of the students in mastering Mandarin 4 tones. Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini (1) pemahaman guru kelas IV terhadap pendekatan saintifik dan pembelajaran tematik terpadu; (2) RPP tematik terpadu dengan pendekatan saintifik; (3) langkah-langkah penerapan pendekatan saintifik pada kegiatan inti proses pembelajaran; (4) aktivitas belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan pendekatan saintifik; (5) sikap peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan pendekatan saintifik; dan (6) faktor pendukung dan penghambat penerapan pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen pengumpul data terdiri dari observasi nonpartisipan, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Triangulasi data dilakukan dengan dua cara yaitu: triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RPP yang dirancang merupakan tematik terpadu yang menerapkan pendekatan saintifik. Proses pembelajaran sesuai dengan kegiatan inti pembelajaran langkah-langkah kegiatan pendekatan saintifik. Aktivitas belajar peserta didik juga telah sesuai dengan langkah-langkah pendekatan saintifik. Keberhasilan pembelajaran memerlukan faktor pendukung berupa sarana dan prasarana, disamping juga ada faktor yang menghambat. Kata-kata kunci: Pembelajaran Tematik Terpadu, Pendekatan Saintifik, Sekolah Dasar Percontohan Implementasi Kurikulum 2013.   Abstract: The purposes of this study were (1) The comprehension of the fourth grade teachers about the scientific approach and integrated thematic learning; (2) the integrated thematic lesson plan with a scientific approach; (3) the implemented steps of the scientific approach to the core activities of the learning process; (4) the activities of learners in the integrated thematic learning with a scientific approach; (5) the attitudes of students in the integrated thematic learning with a scientific approach; and (6) the factors supporting and inhibiting to the application of scientific approach in the integrated thematic learning. The approach used was a qualitative descriptive approach. The instrument of collecting data consisted of nonparticipant observation, interview and documentation study. The data Triangulation was done in two ways, they were triangulation sources and triangulation methods. The results showed that The designed lesson plan was an integrated thematic scientific approach. The learning process was done according to the core activities with the scientific approach activity steps. The activities of students have also been according to the steps in the scientific approach. To succeed the learning, it is needed the supporting factors such as facilities and infrastructure however there is also the obstructed factors. Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to know how well the effectiveness of the use Think Talk Write (TTW) cooperative learning model with handout on the students learning result in grade XIth of MAN 2 Pontianak on nervous system sub material. The research design was conducted through quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used saturated sampling with the samples are XI MIPA 2 as control class and XI MIPA 3 as experiment class. Handouts was validated and analyzed by using the Gregory formula with the result is 1.00 (very high criteria).  Scores of the students learning outcomes taught by using Think Talk Write (TTW) cooperative learning model with handout is 15.54, higher than the score of students learning outcomes taught by using conventional learning model which only 13.77. After the U Mann-Whitney test, it is known that Zcount<Ztable (-4.06 <- 1.96) means that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class at the 5% level. Based on the calculation of effect size, the score is 0.84 (high criteria), and from the normal curve standard, the learning by using Think Talk Write (TTW) cooperative learning model with handout contributes 29.96% to the students learning outcomes.Keywords: Eeffectiveness,Level of Validity, Think Talk Write (TTW), Handouts, Nerves System
