Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini difokuskan pada pengamatan terhadap tradisi selamatan membangun rumah pada masyarakat Melayu Sambas. Selamatan membangun rumah yang dimaksud adalah tradisi yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat sebelum mendirikan sebuah rumah baik pada tahap prapelaksanaan maupun proses pelaksanaan selamatan membangun rumah. Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif, yaitu dengan menerjemahkan data kosakata permainan rakyat Melayu Kabupaten Sambas. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan pendekatan etnolinguistik yang memandang hubungan bahasa dengan unsur budaya di dalam masyarakat Melayu Sambas. Analisis yang dilakukan peneliti terhadap data yang dikumpulkan adalah analisis mengenai inventarisasi data, makna leksikal dan makna kultural, dan fungsi makna istilah dalam tradisi selamatan membangun rumah masyarakat Melayu Sambas. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, peneliti berhasil menghimpun penelitian ini berhasil menghimpun 44 istilah dalam tradisi selamatan membangun rumah masyarakat Melayu Sambas terdiri dari 25 istilah alat, 6 istilah proses, 3 istilah waktu, 4 istilah pelaku, 1 istilah tempat, dan 5 istilah pada serapah yang digunakan.   Kata Kunci: Peristilahan tradisi selamatan membangun rumah, etnolinguistik, Melayu Sambas. Abstract: This study focused on observing the tradition of building homes in the community of salvation Melayu Sambas. Salvation build the house in question is a tradition practiced by the people before taking up a good home on the stage of the implementation process of salvation prapelaksanaan or build a house. Data collection activities conducted in the District of South Jawai Sambas district. Researchers used descriptive method with a form of qualitative research, by translating the data vocabulary Malay folk games Sambas district. This study also uses entholinguistic approach that sees its relations with the language of cultural elements in Malay society Sambas. The analysis conducted by researchers of the data collected is an analysis of the data inventory, the lexical meaning and cultural meaning, and function of the meaning of the term in the tradition of salvation building houses Sambas Malay society. Based on the research conducted, the researchers managed to collect this study managed to collect 44 terms in the tradition of salvation build public houses Melayu Sambas consists of 25 terms appliance, 6 term process, three terms of time, four term offender, one term spot, and 5 terms on profanity that used. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Jenis penelitian penelitian tindakan kelas dengan ciri khas kolaborasi dan sifat penelitian yaitu bersifat kualitatif (institusional survei). Teknik pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi langsung dan alat pengumpul data yaitu lembar observasi guru dan lembar observasi siswa.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menghitung rata-rata dan persentase. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 3 siklus dengan hasil yang diperoleh yaitu aktivitas fisik dari base line 30,77 % siklus I yaitu 59,61 %, siklus II yaitu 75,00 % dan siklus III yaitu 87,5 %.  Aktivitas mental dari base line 15,39 % siklus I yaitu 57,70 % siklus II yaitu 80,77 % dan siklus III yaitu 85,41 %. Aktivitas Emosional dari base line 20,51%, siklus I yaitu 71,80%, siklus II yaitu 82,04% dan siklus III 86,11%. Kata Kunci : Aktivitas, teknik bertukar pasangan, Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial.   Abstract: The purpose of this research is to increase the activity of learn in science social knowledge learning. The type of action research study with typical collaboration and research properties that are qualitative (institutional surveys). Data collection technique used is the technique of direct observation and data collection tool that teacher observation sheets and sheets of observations student. Techniques data analysis used is to calculate the average and percentage. This research was conducted for 3 cycles with the results obtained by the physical activity of the base line is 30.77% 59.61% first cycle, the second cycle which is 75.00% and the third cycle is 87.5%. Mental activity from baseline 15.39% 57.70% first cycle is the second cycle which is 80.77% and the third cycle is 85.41%. Emotional activity from baseline 20.51%, ie 71.80% first cycle, the second cycle which is 82.04% and 86.11% third cycle.   Keywords: Activity, Techniques exchange of partners, Social Sciences.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan perbedaan dan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMAN 2 Pontianak yang diberikan pembelajaran menggunakan model siklus belajar 5E dan metode konvensional pada materi koloid. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIA 4 dan XI MIA 1. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes keterampilan berpikir kritis. Hasil uji t berpasangan diperoleh P-value = 0,632 > 0,05, artinya tidak terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan nilai signifikansi. Rata-rata peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,279 dan 0,174 dengan kategori rendah. Indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis pada kelas eksperimen yang mengalami peningkatan yaitu melakukan pertimbangan hasil observasi, membuat kesimpulan, mengidentifikasi asumsi-asumsi, dan memutuskan suatu tindakan dan pada kelas kontrol hanya indikator melakukan pertimbangan hasil observasi. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan yang terjadi pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Kata kunci: Keterampilan berpikir kritis, model siklus belajar 5E, koloid. Abstract: This research aims to determine the differences and improvement critical thinking skills students of SMAN 2 Pontianak given study using 5E learning cycle model and conventional method in colloid material. This research was conducted in form of nonequivalent control group. Samples in this research were a class of XI MIA 4 and XI MIA 1. The instrument was test of critical thinking skills. Results of paired t-test showed P-value = 0.632 > 0.05 that means there was no difference of critical thinking skills of students after being given treatment with significant value. Average of improvement critical thinking skills of students in experimental class and control class is 0.279 and 0.174 with a low category. Indicators of critical thinking skills in the experiment classroom that has risen was consideration results of observations, making inferences, identify assumptions, and decide a course of action and the control class has only indicator consideration results of observation. The results of research concluded that the improvement that occurred in the experimental class is better than the control class. Keywords: Critical thinking skills, 5E learning cycle model, colloid.

Abstract

Abstract The problem in this study is "the low learning outcomes of students on learning mathematics in class V Elementary School 09 Singkawang. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the application of learning by using manipulative media on learning mathematics can improve student learning outcomes in class V Elementary School 09 Singkawang.. While this form of research is classroom action research (PTK) which is collaborative by following class action research procedure that is planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subject of this research is the researcher and the students of class V Elementary School 09 Singkawang Tengah semester II academic year 2016/2017 which amounted to 26 students. The data collected in the form of data scores the ability of teachers to plan and implement the learning. Data in the form of score of student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques consist of direct observation and measurement techniques. Data collection tools are observation lakes and test instruments. The test consists of a written test. Data analysis using descriptive analysis with the calculation of the average and percentage. Implementation of this class action carried out 3 cycles. The research results are: the ability of researchers in planning the learning, the average score of cycle I of 2.95, increased in cycle II of 3.27 and increased in the third cycle of 3.84. The ability of researchers in implementing learning, the average score of cycle I of 2.80, increased in cycle II of 3.08 and increased in the third cycle of 3.63. The average value of students on learning calculate the volume of cubes and beams using the media manipulative cycle I 52.30 with learning completeness 26.92%, increased in cycle II 72.30 with learning completeness 57.69% and increased in cycle III 83.08 With learning mastery 84.62%. It was concluded that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in learning to calculate the volume of cubes and beams using manipulative media of unit cubes in class V Elementary School 09 Singkawang. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui mobilitas sosial vertikal antar generasi dan mobilitas sosial horizontal antar generasi keluarga petani padi di Kelurahan Pasiran Kecamatan Singkawang Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan bentuk deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi langsung, wawancara langsung dan studi dokumentasi. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu panduan observasi, panduan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa yang mengalami mobilitas sosial vertikal naik sebanyak dua keluarga petani padi dan yang mengalami mobilitas sosial vertikal turun sebanyak satu keluarga petani padi. Sedangkan dua keluarga petani padi lainnya mengalami mobilitas sosial horizontal. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa mobilitas sosial antar generasi yang terjadi pada keluarga petani padi di Kelurahan Pasiran Kecamatan Singkawang Barat tidak selalu mengalami kenaikan, penurunan, tetapi ada juga yang tetap pada status atau kelas sosial yang sama.   Kata Kunci: Mobilitas Sosial, Antar Generasi, Keluarga, Petani Padi   Abstract: This study aims to determine the vertical social mobility and social mobility horizontally intergenerational of paddy farmers family generation in Pasiran, Subdistrict of West Singkawang. This research uses qualitative research method with descriptive form. The technique used in study is the techniques of direct observation, direct interview and documentation. The data collection tools used are observation guides, interview guides, and documentation. The results showed that those who experienced vertical social mobility rise as many as two families of paddy farmers and who experienced vertical social mobility down by one family of paddy farmers. Meanwhile, two other paddy farming families experienced horizontal social mobility. This shows that the social mobility intergenerational in paddy farming families in Pasiran, Subdistrict of West Singkawang doesn’t always experience an increase, decrease, but some remain on the same social status or class.   Key Word: Social Mobility, Intergenerational, Family, Paddy Farmers

Abstract

Abstract:The purpose of this study is to improve students' communication skills using Think-Talk-Write learning model on buffer solution material in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak. The method of this research is Classroom Action Research. The completed research was implemented to the first semester of eleventh grade students in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak there where 36 students from XI IPA class of academic year 2014/2015. The implementation of this research through two cycles, each cycle consists of one meeting with the time allocation of each meeting is 2 x 45 minutes. Cycle I consists of the consept and buffer solution concept, while cycle II consists of pH value of buffer solution. Communication skills in this study include group discussions, asking questions, responding to peer presentation and drawing conclusions. The research instrument was the observation sheet of the learning process and the communication skill observation sheet. The result of communication skill shows that cycle I is 27,08% and cycle II shows 56,94%, it can be concluded that learning using Think-Talk-Write model can be used to improve students communication skill.   Keywords: Think-Talk-Write, Communication Skills

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this study is whether the use of Ispring 7.0 program can improve the learning outcomes of students of grade V Primary School 17 Pontianak City. The research method used is descriptive with the form of action research class. Research subjects are teachers as researchers and students of class V which amounted to 36 people. The procedure consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collected is the data of teachers' ability to design and implement learning, and student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques use document observation and scrutiny. The data collection tool uses observation sheet and student learning result document. Data analysis using average calculation. The study was conducted in 2 cycles. The result of the research is the average score of teacher's ability to design the learning in the first cycle of 3.75 and on the second cycle of 3.90. The average score of teachers' ability to implement the learning in the first cycle of 3.67 and on the second cycle of 4.00. Average Score Student learning outcomes in cycle I of 76.00 and on the second cycle of 95.61. Abstract

AbstractThe main objective of this research is to obtain objective information and to describe the relationship of material understanding about orientation service with students' adjustment in Junior High School 18 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method with quantitative approach by means of statistics and described descriptively. The sample in this research is 51 students of class VII SMPN 18 Pontianak. Data collection techniques are indirect communication techniques. The data collection tool is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis techniques and product moment correlation analysis. Based on the results of data analysis shows that the understanding of the material about service orientation of students of class VII SMPN 18 Pontianak reached 75.67%, the achievement is in the good range. Meanwhile, Adjustment of students of class VII N 18. pontianak reaches 82.33% which is in very good range. The result of product moment correlation of both variables is obtained rhitung = 0,298 which means show that there is positive correlation between material understanding about orientation service with self adjustment of class VII student of SMPN 18 Pontianak. If the material understanding about the orientation service is better, then the better the adaptation of the students of class VII SMPN 18 Pontianak. Abstract

Abstract             This research aimed to improve students’ ability in writing recount text using guided wh-questions to class VIII C students of SMP Negeri 6 Teluk Keramat in Academic Year 2018/2019. This research was conducted based on the problems found in the classroom. First, students had difficulty in writing recount text because they did not know about the generic structures. Second, students also had difficulties in using simple past tense. The research was conduted using Classroom Action Research in three cycles. The subject of this research was 26 students in class VIII C. The researcher used observational checklists, field notes, and scoring rubric as tools to collect the data. The result showed that the use of guided wh-questions can generate the students’ ideas and develop the ideas in writing. Guided wh-questions was improved students’ achievement in writing recount text concerning the generic structure, language features, and writing mechanics.            Keyword: Improve, Writing Recount Text, Guided WH-Questions.

Abstract

 AbstractCooperative is a business entity consisting of persons-a legal entity or legal entity based on its activities based on the principle of cooperatives as well as a people's economic movement based on the principle of kinship. Cooperatives as a populist economic movement in its activities do not recognize the term profit because the business activities of the main cooperative is not oriented to profit (non profitoriented) but rather beneficial oriented (member) to the members.Research method in this research is descriptive method with form of case study. The data source in this research is Cooperative Members. This study uses data collection techniques, direct observation with data collection tools in the form of Observation Guide, Interview Guidelines, and Field Disability. The results of the study conclude that the distribution of the remaining results of operations for members, in this case there are differences, of some members tend to disagree.Distribution of the remaining results of operations for the board, in this case the members tend to disagree disagree. Distribution of the remaining results of operations for the regulatory body, in this case the members of the perceive not agree.So it can be concluded that the distribution of the remaining results of operations on Cooperative Multi Finance according to the perception of members and supported by the Study Library in the category of not agreeing. Keywords:  Cooperative, Perception, Shu Division
