Abstract

 AbstractThe aims of this research were to determine  whether there is a difference in understanding the concept of students class taught by environmental-based practice method with taught convensional  student class on the reaction rate material and determine of the influence of the use of practice method based on the understanding of the concept of students on the reaction rate material. This form of research is a quasi experiment with the design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample of this research is class XI IPA which is divided into two groups, the first group as the experimental class and the second group as the control class. The worksheet were used are instruments and concept comprehension test. Based on the U Mann-Whitne testwith significance level α = 5% indicates that there is a difference between understanding the concept of students taught by environment-based practice method with those taught without using environment-based practicum methods. The value of effect size  is 1.06  with high category and gave the contribution 35,54%, it means the use of environment-based practice method influence the students' concept of understanding. Abstract

AbstractAbstract: This study aimed to describe the learning outcome 'knowledge of natural sciences using sorrounding environment fourth grade students of SDN 01 Pontianak Selatan.Metode study is a descriptive form of classroom action research, and collaborative. Data collection techniques used are direct observation and measurement techniques and data collection tool using the observation sheet and booklet. Data analysis technique used is using the calculation formula - average. This research was conducted for 4 cycle.es, with the result of 1) the ability of teachers plan learning, which is as follows in the first cycle of 2.36, in the second cycle of 2.68,  in third cycle of 3.13 and the fourth cycle  of 3.63.  2) The ability of teachers to implement learning, which is as follows in the first cycle of 2.23, in the scond cycle 2.74, in the third 3.20 , and the fourth cycle of 3.55. 3) Results of learning, which is as follows, 52.4. in the first cycle, 80.86 in the second cycle, 87.5 in the third cycle and 90.96 in the fourth cycle. Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research was to find out the basic and supporting elements found in the Arabic Zapin Dance. The researcher hopes that this research can become a corpus of data documenting the Zapin Arabic Dance so that it can be used as reference by further researchers and readers.The research method used was descriptive method of analysis with the form of qualitative research and choreographic approach. The data of this research was to describe the structure of the Arab Zapin dance. Sources of data include, Syarif Usman, Syarif Mansyur, Sy Ghozali Zein as an artist who knows the structure of the Apara Arab Zainian dance. The data collection techniques were observation, interview, and documentation with researcher as the main instrument. The persistence and triangulation of sources were used to check the validity of data. The data analysis techniques of this research were analysis during the field, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and classification.The results of this study described the presentation structure of the Arabic Zapin Dance. There are 3 types of motion, divided into initial motion, middle motion (contents) and closing motion. The floor design used is in the form of vertical, horizontal lines. Low design, pure design, angular design, flat design, high design are the top designs used.Keywords: Presentation Structure, traditional zapin Arabic dance.

Abstract

Abstract Critical thinking abilities is necessary to deliver more leads through thinking and working process in solving problems so that more accurate in determining the relevance of things. The common purpose in this research is to describe students’ critical thinking abilities in solving the problem on material learning of linear inequalities in one variable at the VII grade of SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. The form of this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this research are students who have been obtained learning material of linear inequalities in one variable. The technique of data collection are assesment technique and interview technique . In general, the results of the research are the student’s ability to interpret  mostly belong to good category , the student’s ability to analyze mostly belong to very  deficient category, and the student’s ability to evaluate mostly belong to very deficient  category. Keywords: Critical thinking, ability to interpret, ability to analyze, ability to evaluate, linear inequalities in one variable

Abstract

Abstract Accordingly, the purpose of this study is the description of planning, execution, and learning result of creative writing drama script. The method used in this research is descriptive method, with qualitative research design of action research class (PTK). This research is conducted in 3 cycles, each cycle is done in one meeting. The research implementation procedure of each cycle consists of four stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting learning activities. The results of the implementation in the first cycle obtained 85.29% (excellent). Furthermore, cycle II increased with the results obtained 88.24% (excellent), and cycle III and increased by 2.89% with the results 91, 18% (excellent). Keywords: creative writing, drama script, film media.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine how much confidence in Class XI students in Sintang High School SMK 20016/2017 Academic Year, how much Class XI students conformity in Sintang High School SMK 20016/2017 Academic Year, and how much the Class XI students' Consumer Behavior in Vocational High School Budi Luhur Sintang Academic Year 20016/2017. This research is a type of survey research. The source of this research data is the students of class XI of Budi Luhur Sintang Vocational School and the main data is the student questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that Class XI Student Confidence in Budi Luhur Sintang Vocational High School has a positive effect on the consumptive behavior of class XI students of Budi Luhur Sintang Vocational High School at 0.686. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Studens Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) pada materi sistem pencernaan makanan di kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 2 Siantan tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), yang dilakukan dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksana tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pelaksanaan dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus dan masing-masing dengan satu kali pertemuan setiap siklus. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 26 siswa terdiri dari 14 orang siswa laki-laki dan 12 orang siswa perempuan. Persentase proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada siklus I mencapai 90,91% dan siklus II mencapai 100%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 75,13 dengan persentase ketuntasan 80,77% dan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 84,36 dengan persentase ketuntasan 96,15%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.   Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Tipe STAD, Hasil Belajar       Abstract: The purpose of this study is to improve the studens’ result by using the cooperative learning type of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) on the material of digestive system in VIII B class of SMP Negeri 2 Siantan in academic year 2014/2015. This study was a classroom action research which conducted in 2 cycles, where each consists of planning, execution, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study was 14 male students and 12 female students . The percentage of the learning process in the first cycle achieved 90,91% and 100% in the second cycle. The result of this study has shown that the average result on cycle I was 75,13 with 80,77% of completeness and 84,36 of improvement on cycle II with 96,15% of completeness concluded that the cooperative learning type STAD is able to improve the students’ result.   Key words: Learning Type STAD, Learning Achievement

Abstract

Abstract“anzhao”and”genju”both havethe meaning of a particular application or standards. However,if seen in terms of the use of the word,the two could not mutually replace.therefore,in the process of studying the “anzhao”and “genju,the studentsoften encounter errors when using both those words.in order to understand the conditions of mastery against the word preposition “anzhao”and“genju”on student education in chinese university of tanjungpura forces 2015,the authors examines how to use evaluation methods to implement test test to students.the results of his research,analysis of the mastery of the use of the  word preposition”anzhao”on students language education in chinese university of tanjungpura 2015 sovereignty forces some very nice, 56.90% average  and also against the student’s mastery of ”genju”portion is  not good,an average 48.76%.mastery of the students on the usage of  the grammar”genju+...yijian/yaoqiu/diaoca/jingyan+zhuyu”is still very less,the reason is because the students are still less understand this  grammar  usage and also could distinguish the second words in the sentences.Keywords:       anzhao,genju,mastery analysis

Abstract

Abstract : this study is conducted to analyze the students? speaking performance in giving presentation. The technique used in this research is direct technique with direct observation of behavior. Tools of data collecting used are rubric, observation sheet and video recorder. The method applied is descriptive study. Based on the observation result, the data of content aspect showed that 16 students (64%) get ? 2 score, 7 students (28%) get score between 2.1 ? 2.5, and only 2 students (8%) get score ? 2.6. Then from the result, the data of delivery aspect showed that 11 students (44%) get score between 2.1 ? 2.5, 10 students (40%) get score ? 2, and 4 students (8%) get score ? 2.6. Based on those result, it can be concluded that the third semester students of English Education Study Program of FKIP Untan Pontianak in academic year 2014/ 2015 especially the students who were in Class B of Speaking for Academic Presentation have moderate abilities of speaking performance in giving presentation. Keywords : Speaking Performance, Presentation Abstrak : Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis kemampuan siswa dalam memberikan presentasi. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik langsung dengan pengamatan perilaku langsung. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah rubric, lembar observasi dan perekam video. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil penilaian berdasarkan muatan presentasi yaitu 16 siswa (64%) mendapatkan skor ? 2, 7 siswa (28%) mendapat skor antara 2.1 ? 2.5, dan hanya 2 siswa (8%) mendapatkan skor ? 2.6. kemudian hasil penilaian berdasarkan penyampaian yaitu 11 siswa (44%) mendapat skor diantara 2.1 ? 2.5, 10 siswa (40%) mendapat skor ? 2, dan 4 siswa mendapat skor (8%) mendapat skor ? 2.6. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa semester III Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris FKIP Untan Program Studi Pontianak pada tahun akademik 2014/ 2015 terutama siswa yang berada di kelas B Berbicara dalam Presentasi Akademik memiliki kemampuan moderat. Abstract

AbstractThe present research aimed to know the effectiveness of using images to inprove the tenth grade students of MAN 2 Pontianak’s learning results in Pancasila and Civics Education  subject. This research used experimental method with  one Pretest-Group Post-test desig. The findings showed that the use of pictures effectively improve the students’ learning results. In advance of using pictures as a teaching medium, the average score of the students 64.45 with the lowest score of 40 and the highest of 90. After pictures were used, however, the average score significantly rose to 76,21 the lowest score of 40 and the highest of 95. based on the t test on  of it was known that the sig(2-tailed) was 0.001, smaller than 0,05 with 3.727 t count. The value of sig was 0.001<0.005. it can be concluded that the use of pictures is effective in improving   grade of learning result in Pancasila and Civic Education subject. The effect size test showed that the value of the effectiveness of using pictures was 0.59. It can be concluded that the use of pictures is effective in improving the learning results of students of MIPA 4 tenth grade class of MAN 2 Pontianak.Keywords: Learning Results, Picture, Pancasila and Civic Education subject’s students
