Abstract

AbstractThe title of this research was “The effect of learning discipline towards the studentslearningoutcomes in sociology subject at XI IPS of SMA Santun Untan Pontianak. The purposeof this research was to investigate whether or not the effect of learning discipline towards thestudents learning outcomes. The problems formulation of this research are: 1. How the eleventhgrade students learning discipline in sociology subject. 2. How the students learning outcomes insociology subject at the eleventh grade. 3. What is the effect of learning discipline towards thestudents learning outcomes in sociology subject at the eleventh grade. The research appliedquantitative method by using the effect of inferential statistic. The data was collected by usingdirect communication and indirect communication and documentary study. The data wascollected by using questionnaire and notes which was collected from the 30 students. Thehypothesis result of this research was there was the positive effect and significance between learning discipline towards learning outcomes with r calculated 3.890> the t table 2,048. While,the value of equation regression was Y= 10.670 + 0.544X, showed that the learning discipline (Xvariable) increased 1, then the learning outcomes (Y variable) increased 0.544. the determinantscore adjust R2 = 0,406 which was means there was the effect of learning discipline towardslearning outcomes as big as  40.6 % which was classified as average and 59.4% determined byanother factor which was don’t discussed in this research. Key words: Learning Discipline, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan Menulis karangan deskripsi dengan menggunakan metode outdoor study di kelas IV SDN 36 Pontianak Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Bentuk penelitian yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) serta bersifat kolaboratif. Tempat penelitian berlangsung di SDN 36 Pontianak Selatan, subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 27 orang dan guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Hasil analisis data pada base line menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan belajar siswa hanya mencapai 33,33%, sehingga diberikan tindakan menggunakan metode outdoor study untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karangan deskripsi siswa. Setelah menggunakan metode outdoor study, pada siklus I ketuntasa belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan menjadi 62,96% dengan selisih dari base line yaitu 29,63%, pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan lagi menjada 81,48% dengan selisih peningkatan dari siklus I yaitu 18,52%.   Kata kunci : Peningkatan, karangan deskripsi, metode outdoor study.   Abstract: This study aimed to describe the increase in capability essay writing descriptions using the outdoor study in class IV SDN 36 Pontianak Selatan West Borneo Province. The method used is descriptive. From of serearch is Classroom Action Research as well as collaborative. Where the research took place in sdn 36 Pontianak Selatan West Borneo, the study subjects were fourth graders who totaled 27 people and subject teachers Indonesian. The results of the base line data analysis showed that mastery learning students only reaches 33,33%, so that the given action using the outdoor study methodes to improve students ability to write essays description. After using pool study, on cycle I mastery learned students has increased to 62,96% with the difference of base line i.e. 29,63%, cycle II experience increased again keep 81,48% with the difference in improvement of cycle I i.e. 18,52%.

Abstract

Abstract: The research aimed at finding out the students’ attitude toward speaking English of the first semester students of English Education Study Program of Tanjungpura University in academic year 2014/2015. This research applied descriptive method as research design. The data were obtained from the Students’ Attitude Questionnaire and Interview. The subjects for Students’ Attitude Questionnaire were seventy students. Meanwhile, the participants for the interview were fifteen students, which were selected using purposive sampling. The result showed that there were fourty four students or sixty three percent students held positive attitude towards speaking English. The rest of all, twenty six students or thirty seven percent students held negative attitude toward speaking English. It was concluded that the attitude toward speaking English of the first semester students of English Education Study Program of Tanjungpura University in academic year 2014/2015 was mainly postive attitude. Futhermore, the dominant attitude reflected is also positive attitude. Keywords: Attitude, Speaking English, Self Confidence, Willingness to Communicate, Language Anxiety   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap mahasiswa terhadap berbicara bahasa Inggris pada mahasiswa semester pertama program pendidikan bahasa Inggris Universitas Tanjungpura pada tahun akademik 2014/2015. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode deskriptif sebagai rancangan penelitian. Data data diperoleh dari kuesioner dan wawancara. Responden untuk kuesioner adalah tujuh puluh mahasiswa. Sementara itu, responden untuk wawancara adalah lima belas mahasiswa, yang dipilih dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada empat puluh empat siswa atau enam puluh tiga persen mahasiswa memiliki sikap positif terhadap berbicara bahasa Inggris. Sisanya, dua puluh enam atau tiga puluh tujuh persen mahasiswa memiliki sikap negatif terhadap berbicara dalam bahasa Inggris. Ini disimpulkan bahwa sikap terhadap berbicara bahasa Inggris dari mahasiswa semester pertama program pendidikan bahasa Inggris Universitas Tanjungpura pada tahun akademik 2014/2015 adalah hampir keseluruhan memiliki sikap positif. Selanjutnya, sikap  dominan yang tercermin juga merupakan sikap positif.   Kata kunci: Sikap, Berbicara Bahasa Inggris, Kepercayaan Diri, Keinginan untuk Berbicara, Kecemasan dalam Berbicara.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know whether role play can increase the students ability in speaking of the tenth grade of second semesters students of SMA Negeri 1 Pesaguan Ketapang in academic year 2011/2012. A pre-test was given to the students, and then the application of using role play was carried out as the treatment. After the treatment, the students were tested (post-test). The interval score of post-test and pre-test is 11.47. Based on the formulation of the effect size analysis (0.07), it can be concluded that teaching speaking ability through role play can increase the students speaking ability. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to investigate whether or not the use of “Roundtable Strategy” effective in teaching writing descriptive paragraph at the tenth grade students of SMA Katolik Talino Ambawang in academic year 2016/2017. This research applied a quasi-experimental  design. The population of this research was  XA as the experimental group and XB as the control group. The data was collected by using measurement technique with written test as the tool of collecting data. The research findings showed that the mean score of pre-test in the experimental group was 31.94, while the mean score of post -test was 67.36.  On the other hand, the  mean score of pre-test in  the control group was 26.27, while mean score of the post-test was 53.27.  The computation result by  using     t-test showed the value of t-test was 6.28 with df  35 in the significance degree of 5%, t-table was 2.03011, it meant  that t-test was higher than t-table. Furthermore, the effect size of treatment was 0.69 which was classified as “moderate”. Thus, the significant difference could be interpreted that the use of roundtable strategy was effective in increasing the students’ ability in writing descriptive paragraph.  Keywords: Descriptive Paragraph, Teaching Writing, Roundtable Strategy.

Abstract

Abstract: This research investigated the errors made by students in recount text writing. In this study, researcher applied descriptive study as the form of research. There were 28 students involved in this research. The research showed that the students made 498 errors in various kinds. Students made several generic structural errors in recount text. The researcher had identified and found that the students had made errors in orientation and events in recount text writing. It was also found that there were 333 errors in grammar. The students had made 58 errors in sentence structure, 115 errors in tenses, 68 errors in pronoun, and 92 errors in preposition. In mechanics, the students made 159 errors. There were 64 errors in punctuation, 76 errors in capitalization and 19 errors in spelling. It was concluded that the most frequent error was the error in tense. The research also revealed that the students made errors because of both interlingual and intralingual transfer.  Keywords: Error Analysis, Recount Text Writing  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan-kesalahan bahasa dalam menulis teks recount. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menerapkan bentuk penelitian descriptive. Terdapat 28 delapan siswa yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa membuat kesalahan berbahasa sebanyak 498 kali dengan berbagai jenis kesalahan. Siswa membuat kesalahan dalam generic structure pada bagian orientation dan events. Penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 333 kesalahan dalam grammar pada tulisan siswa. Peneliti menemukan 58 kesalahan pada sentence structure, 115 pada tense, 68 pada pronoun dan 92 pada preposition. Sementara itu, dalam mecanics, siswa membuat 159 kesalahan dimana ditemukan 64 kesalahan pada punctuation, 76 kesalahan pada capitalization dan 19 kesalahan pada spelling. Dari jumlah tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesalahan pada tense adalah jenis kesalahan yang paling banyak terjadi dalam penulisan teks recount. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa kesalahan siswa dipengaruhi oleh interlingual dan intralingual. Kata Kunci : Analysis Kesalahan, Penulisan Text Recount

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pendeskripsian nilai budaya 1) nilai-nilai budaya yang menggambarkan hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan; 2) nilai-nilai yang menggambarkan berhubungan manusia dengan manusia; 3) nilai-nilai budaya yang menggambarkan hubungan manusia dengan dirinya sendiri; 4) nilai-nilai budaya yang menggambarkan hubungan manusia dengan alam; Metode yang digunakan metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian berupa penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: (a) berdoa, (b) bersyukur, (c) berzikir, (d) tawakal (a) menolong orang lain, (b) menyebar rahmat dan kasih sayang, (a) sabar, (b) menuntut ilmu, (c) kejujuran, (a) alam menyediakan berbagai kebutuhan, (b) memilih bersahabat dan menyatu dengan alam. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini berjudul penerapan model Group Investigation berbantuan flashcard, bertujuan untuk meremediasi kesulitan belajar siswa kelas XII IPA pada materi dinamika rotasi. Masalahnya adalah bagaimanakah efektivitas penerapan model Group Investigation berbantuan flashcard untuk meremediasi kesulitan belajar siswa kelas XII IPA pada materi dinamika rotasi. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre- experimental design dengan  rancangan one group pretest posttest design . populasi yang digunakan adalah kelas XII IPA dengan jumlah siswa 35 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu sampling jenuh dengan jumlah sampel 28 siswa diambil dari siswa yang mengikuti proses remediasi dari awal hingga akhir. Teknik pengambilan data yaitu melalui tes diagnostik yang disusun secara parale. Tes diagnostik tersebut berupa pilihan ganda dengan tiga alternatif jawaban disertai alasan. Dari hasil penelitian, diperoleh data yang menunjukkan siswa mengalami penurunan kesulitan belajar sebesar 0,54,dan menurut aturan ruas jari hasil penurunan kesulitan belajar siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak setelah remediasi dengan model group investigation berbtantuan flashcard pada materi dinamika gerak rotasi tingkat efektivitasnya tergolong pada kategori  sedang.   Kata Kunci : Group investigation, kesulitan belajar, flashcard   Abstract: This study, entitled the application of the Group Investigation model aided flashcard to remediate learning difficulties of students in the class XII material rotational dynamics. The problem is how the effectiveness of the Group Investigation model aided flashcard to remediate learning difficulties of students in the class XII material rotational dynamics. Study is a form of pre-experimental design with the design of one group pretest posttest design. population used is the number of class XII Science students 35 people. Sampling technique that saturated sampling with a sample of 28 students drawn from students who take remediation process from beginning to end. Techniques of data collection is through a diagnostic test arranged parale. A diagnostic test is a multiple choice with three alternative answers with reasons. From the research, the data obtained showed decreased student learning difficulties of 0.54, and according to the rules knuckles loss results of student learning difficulties SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak after remediation with the model group investigation berbtantuan flashcard dynamics of rotational motion on the material level of efectiveness belonging to the category being.                                                                                               Keywords: Group investigation, learning difficulties, flashcard

Abstract

Penggunaan Reinforcement Kepala Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Kompetensi Profesional Guru di SMAN 1 Mempawah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan informasi yang obyektif mengenai penggunaan reinforcement kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru. Pendekatan penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Data diperoleh peneliti dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisa data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Keabsahan data dilakukan melalui tringulasi sumber data, metode dan waktu. Hasil analisa data, ditemukan tentang: Gambaran kompetensi profesional guru dalam penguasaan materi, struktur, konsep dan keilmuan yang mendukung mata pelajaran yang diampu. Penggunaan reinforcement kepala sekolah berupa reinforcement positif dan reinforcement negatif dalam bentuk sikap, tindakan maupun berbagai kegiatan yang mendorong meningkatnya kompetensi profesional guru. Penggunaan reinforcement dengan cara klasikal, individual, pemberian tugas, penghargaan dan berbagai kegiatan. Persepsi guru tentang penggunaan reinforcement kepala sekolah dan fungsinya dalam mengembangkan kinerja dan kompetensi profesional guru. Kata Kunci : Penggunaan Reinforcement, Kepala Sekolah, Kompetensi Profesional, Guru. Abstract: The use of reinforcement headmaster in Improving Teachers' Professional Competence in SMAN 1 Mempawah. The research objective to obtain objective information about the use of the headmaster reinforcement in improving the professional competence of teachers. The research approach is qualitative with this type of case studies. Data obtained by the researchers by means of interview, observation and documentation. Analysis of data through data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The validity of data is done through tringulasi data sources, methods and timing. The results of the data analysis, it was found on: description of the professional competence of teachers in the mastery of the material, the structure, and the science that supports the concept of the subject matter. The use of headmaster reinforcement in the form of positive reinforcement and negative reinforcement in the form of attitudes, actions and activities aimed at increasing the professional competence of teachers. The use of reinforcement by way of traditional, individual, giving assignments, awards and activities. Teachers' perceptions about the use of reinforcement headmasters and functions in developing performance and professional competence of teachers. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud problematik gender dan pendidikan, mendeskripsikan wujud ketidakadilan terhadap gender dalam hubungan sosial, dan mendeskripsikan wujud tindak kekerasan laki-laki terhadap perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan bentuk kualitatif. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan strukturalisme genetik. Teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu dengan melakukan studi dokumenter. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan, yaitu peneliti sebagai instrumen kunci dan alat pencatat lainnya.
