Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research was to know the basic and the supportelements which could be found in Raddat Anak Duyong dance. The result of this research was the description of the main element and support element of Raddat Anak Duyong dance. There are four kind of movements, which is divided as the first movement, the center movement (substance) and the closing movement. The floor design that used has vertical, horizontal, square and V line pattern.The low design, asyimmetric, angular, flat, pure, deep, symmetrical, and static was the top design used. Raddat Anak Duyong dance told about the people in the old period which is not believe in God.The dramatic design shape was doubled cone with the dynamic which exist in this dance have not any variation, the dancer movement adjusting to the music tempo and group composition used cohesive design and by turns. The music used Tar as music instrument and Syair Dialek Melayu Sambas song. The make up and the custom used was malay teluk belangak custom, baju kurung with Sambas original material  and natural make up. The show place used can be at proscenium and arena stage. The result of this research can be used to be a teaching material in art and culture on 8th grader.Keywords : Form of presentation, Raddat Anak Duyong Traditional Dance, Melayu Sambas.

Abstract

Abstrak: Peningkatan aktivitas belajar melalui pendekatan keterampilan proses pembelajaran IPA kelas III SDN 11 Sungai Raya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan keterampilan proses dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas III SDN 11 Sungai Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitiannya adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik, penelitian ini memperoleh peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dari hasil siklus I dan II. Pada siklus I persentase aktivitas belajar siswa sebanyak 55,55% sedangkan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan menjadi 79,63%. Begitu juga dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang mengalami kenaikan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus I rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 58,70 yang meningkat menjadi 78,52 pada siklus II. Hal ini berarti pembelajaran IPA melalui pendekatan keterampilan proses memberi dampak yang signifikan terhadap tingginya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas III SDN 11 Sungai Raya. Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, pendekatan keterampilan proses, pembelajaran IPA Abstract: Improving learning activities through the process skills approach in natural sciences education of third grade students of SDN 11 Sungai Raya. This study aimed to determine the effect of process skills approach to enhance the activity and students learning outcomes in learning science at third grade students of SDN 11 Sungai Raya. The research method used is descriptive method whereas the form of research is classroom action research. Based on statistical calculations, this research has received increasing activity and students learning outcomes from the cycles I and II. In the first cycle the percentage of students learning activities is 55.55%, while in the second cycle increased to 79.63%. So also with the average student learning outcomes increased from cycle I to cycle II. In the first cycle the average student learning outcomes at 58.70 which increased to 78.52 in the second cycle. In fact, this means learning science process skills approach gives a significant impact on the increasing activities as well as the result of learning of the third grade students of SDN 11 Sungai Raya. Abstract

  Abstrak: Penelitian ini menggambarkan cara membangun dan mengoperasikan permainan berbasis PowerPoint untuk young learners dalam mempelajari kosakata bahasa Inggris. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Prosedur penelitian ini mengikuti model Borg dan Gall dengan sedikit modifikasi. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan di dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan, dan pengembangan produk. Hasil dari penelitian ini tertuang dalam bentuk 1) petunjuk membangun game berbasis PowerPoint yang terdiri dari 4 langkah, yaitu: mengimplementasikan desain, memberi animasi dan efek suara, memasukkan hyperlink dan mengaplikasikan mekanisme skor, dan finishing, dan 2) petunjuk mengoperasikan game berbasis PowerPoint. Kata Kunci: PowerPoint, Permainan, Kosakata, Young Learners Abstract: This research described how to construct and operate a PowerPoint-based game for young learners to learn vocabulary. The research method was research and development (R&D). The research procedures followed Borg and Gall model with some modifications. The steps conducted in this research were research and information collecting, planning and product developing. The result of this research are in the form of 1) constructing manual of the PowerPoint-based game consisting of 4 steps, namely: implementing the design, giving animation and sound effect, inserting hyperlink and applying scoring mechanism and finishing, and 2) operating manual for the PowerPoint-based game playing.   Keywords: PowerPoint, Game, Vocabulary, Young Learners

Abstract

AbstractThis case study research aims to ind out what are the difficuties experienced by students in solving the problem of fractional counting operations in SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak. The research method sed in this research is descriptive mhetod. Data collection tool used in this research is essay test in the form of diagnostic test and interview. Subject of the study amounted to four student, four student were selected based on the number of mistakes made in solving problems that have been given. Based on analysis difficulties experienced by students in the form of diffculty using the concept and difficulty using the principle. The results showed that there are many student who have difficulty, difficulty using the concept of difficulties in the concept of summing the fractions of value, the reduction of the denominations and the concept of equalizing the denominator of two fractions using the KPK. While the difficulty of using the principle of difficulties in the principle of addition of two fraction, the principle of reduction of two fractions and the principle of simplification of fractional operations.Keywords: Analysis of Difficulties, Solving Problems, Concept Difficulties and Principle

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi laju reaksi melalui  strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe true or false berbantuan media flash. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Sebanyak 44 orang siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Taman Mulia Kubu Raya berpartisipasi dalam pelaksanaan penelitian yang dilakukan pada dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus pembelajaran terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Data pada setiap siklus diperoleh melalui tes hasil belajar, observasi dan wawancara. Hasil pelaksanaan tindakan menunjukkan bahwa persentase aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa di kelas meningkat dan mencapai indikator keberhasilan. Peningkatan terhadap aktivitas memperhatikan, aktivitas lisan, aktivitas menulis dan aktivitas mental dari pra siklus ke siklus I berturut-turut sebesar 55,73%, 47,67%, 35,46%, dan 13,66%. Peningkatan aktivitas memperhatikan, aktivitas lisan dan aktivitas menulis dari siklus I ke siklus II berturut-turut sebesar 1,47%, 12,51%, 0,22%, dan 0,95%. Peningkatan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pra siklus ke siklus I sebesar 35,39% dan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 5,88%. Kata Kunci: strategi true or false, aktivitas, laju reaksi Abstract: This research aims to improve the activity and student learning result in rates of reaction through active learning strategy tipe of true or false assisted by flash media. Form of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). There were 44 students of eleven grade IPA SMA Taman Mulia Kubu Raya involved in carrying out of research that did in two cycles of learning. Each learning cycle consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. Data from each cycle were collected through test, observation and interview. The result of action showed that total activity percentage of students increased and reached the success indicator. Increasing of visual activities, oral activities, writing activities and mental activities of pre cycle to I cycle respectively about 55,73%, 47,67%, 35,46% and 13,66%. Visual activities, oral activities, writing activities and mental activities to increasing from I cycle to cycle II respectively about 1,47%, 12,51%, 0,22% and 0,95%. The result of this study indicated increasing of learning outcomes from pre cycle to I cycle 35,39% and from I cycle to cycle II 5,88%. Keywords: Stratgy true or false, activity, rates of reaction

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas peserta didik menggunakan cooperative learning tipe bamboo dancing dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 15 Pontianak Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Bentuk penelitian  yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 15 Pontianak Utara yang berjumlah 28 orang. Teknik pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi langsung. Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah penyusunan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran telah dilaksanakan dengan baik. Aktivitas fisik peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran meningkat dari 28,57% pada saat base line menjadi 57,12% pada siklus 1 menjadi 85,68% pada siklus 2. Meningkat sebesar 57,11%.  Aktivitas Mental peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran meningkat dari 26,19% pada base line menjadi 53,55% pada siklus 1 menjadi 83,30%  pada siklus 2. Meningkat sebesar 57,11%. Aktivitas emosional peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran meningkat dari 29,76% pada base line menjadi 59,50% pada siklus 1 dan menjadi 88,06% pada siklus 2, terjadi  peningkatan 58,3%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan cooperatif learning tipe bamboo dancing dalam pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan V Sekolah Dasar 15 Pontianak Utara dapat meningkatkan aktivitas peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran.   Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, cooperative learning tipe bamboo dancing Abstract: This is research aimed to describe the increase in the activity of students using cooperative learning in the learning type of bamboo dancing Citizenship Education Public Elementary School fifth grade 15 North Pontianak. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Form of research is classroom action research. Subjects in this study were students in grade V State Elementary School 15 North Pontianak 28 in total. Data collection technique used is the technique of direct observation. The results achieved in this study is a lesson plan preparation and implementation process of learning has been implemented properly. Physical activity of students in the learning process increased from 28.57% at the time of the baseline became 57.12% in cycle 1 to 85.68% in cycle 2. An increase of 57.11%. Mental activity of learners in the learning process increased from 26.19% at baseline became 53.55% in cycle 1 to 83.30% in cycle 2. An increase of 57.11%. Emotional activity of learners in the learning process increased from 29.76% at baseline became 59.50% in cycle 1 and became 88.06% in cycle 2, an increase of 58.3%. It can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning type of bamboo dancing in civic education V Elementary School 15 North Pontianak can increase the activity of learners in the learning process.   Keywords: learning activity, cooperative learning tipe bamboo dancing

Abstract

Abstrak: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai komunikasi interpersonal oleh guru bahasa Indonesia dengan metode problem solving pada siswa kelas X1 MAN 2 Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif  kuantitatif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Indonesia dan siswa yang berjumlah 48. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik komunikasi tidak langsung dan studi dokumenter. Alat pengumpul data adalah angket, pedoman wawancara dan pedoman observasi diskusi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan mendeskripsikan hasil angket dan observasi yang kemudian dianalisis secara proporsonal dengan interpretasi untuk melengkapi hasil dari data yang diperoleh dari rekaman. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal oleh guru bahasa Indonesia dengan metode problem solving mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II dengan skor rata-rata 75.10 dan tergolong kategori cukup baik. Hal ini berarti komunikasi interpersonal yang dilakukan oleh guru bahasa Indonesia di sekolah sudah berjalan sesuai keinginan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan siswa menjadi aktif dalam kegiatan proses belajar mengajar di sekolah. Kata kunci: komunikasi interpersonal, metode problem solving Abstract: This study aimed to obtain information on interpersonal communication by Indonesian teachers with a method of problem solving in class X1 MAN 2 Pontianak. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method to research the form of a class action. Sources of data in this study are Indonesian teachers and students numbering 48. This study uses indirect communication techniques and documentary studies. Data collection tool was a questionnaire, interview and observation guide the discussion. Data analysis techniques performed quantitatively describe the results of a questionnaire and observation proporsonal then analyzed with the interpretation of the results to complete the data obtained from the recordings. The results of data analysis showed that interpersonal communication by Indonesian teachers with methods of problem solving has increased from cycle I to cycle II with an average score of 75.10 and classified category quite well. This means that interpersonal communication is done by Indonesian teacher at the school has been running as desired. The results of this study indicate students become active in the teaching and learning process in schools.   Keywords: interpersonal communication, problem solving methods.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is a pre-experimental design of one group pretest posttest design to determine the effect of remediation using REACT learning strategies to remediating student’s misconceptions about the Heat. This was done by collecting quantitative data with two instruments, pretest to determine student misconception before remediation and posttest to determine student misconceptions after remediation. Data was collected by using the diagnostic test in the form of multiple-choice comprised of nine questions by representing three concepts related to Heat arrengged using Modified Certainty of Response Index (Modified CRI). The test was administered to 36 grade 7th students. It is found that the REACT learning strategies can affect student’s misconceptions about the Heat. The average percentage of the decreasing of number of student’s misconceptions each concept is 61% and the effect size of this study is 0,74. This research showed the REACT learning strategies can be used as an alternative remediation activities to reduce student’s misconceptions.Keyword : Remediation, Misconception, REACT Learning Strategies

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap kesulitan siswa dan untuk mengetahui apakah remediasi menggunakan wawancara klinis dapat mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal aritmatika sosial. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis, bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 3 orang siswa kelas VIII MTs Mujahidin Pontianak yang mengalami kesulitan pada materi aritmatika sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketiga orang subjek penelitian mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal aritmatika sosial, meliputi: kesulitan dalam menuliskan hal yang diketahui, hal yang ditanyakan serta menyimpulkan hasil penyelesaian soal. Kesulitan memahami jumlah pembelian dan penjualan secara keseluruhan. Kesulitan memahami konsep untung, rugi dan persentasenya. Kesulitan memahami konsep harga pembelian dan penjualan persatuan barang. Dari hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa remediasi menggunakan wawancara klinis belum dapat mengatasi kesulitan siswa secara maksimal namun kesulitan tersebut dapat diminimalisir dilihat dari pre test dan post test menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan siswa berkurang setelah diberikan remediasi meskipun siswa masih melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal. This research aims to revial students difficulties and to determine if remediation using a clinical interview students to overcome the difficulties in solving arithmetic problems of social. Method used is descriptive analysis, the from of case studies. The study subjects were three students of class VIII MTs Mujahidin Pontianak who have difficalty in social arithmatic material. Result of study showed the results of the study have difficulty in solving social arithmatic, include; difficulty in writing down things that are known, it is askes and conclude the settlement of a matter. Difficulties experienced a mount of purchase and sale as a whole, difficulty understanding the concept of and loss, and percentages, difficultty understanding concept of the unity of the purchase price and the sale of good. Of the results of date analysis showed that remediation using a clinical interview can not be minimized seen from the pre test and post test shows that the error decriases as students are given remediation while still making mistakes in problems solving. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes using a type of think pair share on mathematics learning materials determine KPK and GCF in the fourth grade Elementary School 54 West Pontianak. The  method is used descriptively. Results of the study (1) Theability of teachers to design learning using a type of think pair share increased from the first cycle of meetings 1 3,15 0,18 to 3,33 medium category and the second cycle of meeting 1 3,41 0,1 to 3,51 high category. (2) The ability of teachers to implement the learning of mathematics using a type of think pair share increased from the first cycle of meetings 1 3,05 0,27 to 3,32 into the medium category and the second cycle of meeting increased 1 3,24 0,14 to 3,38 category being.(3) The average results of study in the first cycle of meetings 1 rose 75,78 80,31 4,53 into  the excellent category, and the second cycle of meetings 1 increased 7,19 75,62 82,81 with very good categories. Conclusions using a type of think pair share to improve learning outcomes in mathematics at the fourth grade Elementary School 54 West Pontianak.   Keywords: Improvement, Learning outcomes, Think pair share
