Abstract

Abstract: High achiever students develop their own effective and efficient strategies that suit themselves in their learning process. The purpose of this research is to discover the learning styles and strategies of a high achiever student. He is referred to as ZX. He is the participant of the research. He is a high achiever student of year 2011 of Semester Five of English Education Study Program in academic year 2013/2014. He has the highest learning achievement among the students. It is expected that the result of this research will be useful as one of the sources of information to better understand the learning styles and strategies of a high achiever student who in this case is ZX. In order to achieve the purpose of the research, the writer conducted an idiographic case study research. In conducting the research, the writer used observation, interview, Oxford’s SILL, Reid’ PLSPQ, and documents as the tools of collecting the data. Based on the result of the data analysis of the research, it is found that ZX had learning styles and learning strategies which were unique to himself. His learning styles and strategies enabled him to learn faster, easier, more enjoyable, and comfortably. His learning styles were tactile, individual, visual, and kinaesthetic. His learning strategies were diligence, responsibility, commitment, great passion of learning for his love towards English, setting goals and targets, understanding himself and others, working together with others, reading English comics, playing video games of English RPG, and management ability. Keywords: Learning styles and strategies, High achiever, Idiographic case study Abstrak: Mahasiswa berprestasi mengembangkan strategi yang efektif dan efisien yang cocok dengan diri mereka sendiri dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan gaya dan strategi belajar dari seorang mahasiswa berprestasi. Dia diberi kode nama ZX. Dia adalah partisipan dari penelitian ini. Dia adalah seorang mahasiswa berprestasi angkatan 2011 semester lima pada program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris tahun akademik 2013/2014. Dia meraih hasil belajar terbaik di antara semua satu angkatan dengannya. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini akan berguna sebagai salah satu sumber informasi untuk lebih memahami gaya dan strategi belajar dari seorang mahasiswa berprestasi yang dalam hal ini adalah ZX. Dalam rangka mencapai tujuan dari penelitian ini, penulis melaksanakan sebuah penelitian studi kasus idiografi. Di dalam menjalankan penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan observasi, interview, SILL Oxford, PLSPQ Reid, dan dokumen sebagai alat-alat dalam mengumpulkan data. Berdasarkan hasil dari analisis data penelitian, telah ditemukan bahwa ZX memiliki gaya dan strategi belajarnya sendiri yang unik. Gaya dan strategi belajarnya membantunya untuk bisa belajar dengan lebih cepat, lebih mudah, lebih menyenangkan, dan nyaman. Gaya-gaya belajarnya meliputi gaya taktil, individual, visual, dan kinestetik. Adapun strategi-strategi belajarnya meliputi kerajinan, tanggungjawab, komitmen, semangat yang besar dalam belajar dikarenakan rasa senangnya terhadap bahasa Inggris, menseting gol dan target belajar, memahami dirinya sendiri dan orang lain, bekerjasama dengan orang lain, membaca komik-komik berbahasa Inggris, memainkan game video RPG berbahasa Inggris, dan kemampuan manajemen. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu produk. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian sembilan peserta didik kelas X. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk mengembangkan Biocards menjadi BB Arth diperlukan desain atau pola dasar, prototype, preskripsi dan desain pesan, profil storyboard, yang sesuai, relevan, serta tepat untuk perolehan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik di kelas X Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 3 Sintang dan dinyatakan layak digunakan ditinjau dari aspek media dan materi. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik mencapai belajar tuntas 100% dan berhasil membuat suatu terobosan baru media pembelajaran untuk belajar mandiri dalam tiga kali uji coba dengan perolehan rerata 84,67 berada di atas KKM 75/75%. BB Arth ini masih dapat dikembangkan oleh para pengembang dan peneliti selanjutnya.   Kata Kunci: Biocards, Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif   Abtract: This research aim to yield a product. Method of research and development with the approach qualitative. Subjek research nine competitor educated in class eleventh. Result of research indicate that to develop Biocards become BB Arth needed elementary desain pattern, prototype, preskripsi and desain order, profile storyboard, appropriate, relevant, and also precisely for the acquirement of ability think creative of competitor educated in class eleventh senior high school 3 Sintang and expressed used to be competent evaluated from aspect of media and items. Ability think creative competitor educated to reach to learn complete 100% and succeed to make new breakthrough study media for the autodidact in thrice test-drive with the average acquirement 84,67 residing in for KKM 75/75%. Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research was low student achievement, and there are still many students who had difficulty in solving problems of  mole concept material. This research was conducted to find out and describe the forms of mistakes made by students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak in solving the problems of the mole concept. The method of this research was descriptive research with a case study form. The subjects in this research were 107 students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak consisting of class XI MIPA 3, XI MIPA 4 and XI MIPA 5. The data collection techniques in this research were measurement techniques, namely through essay diagnostic tests of 5 questions and techniques direct communication that is using unstructured interviews. The results showed that there were 6.34% of students making mistakes in understanding essential concepts; 8.30% of students make mistakes in understanding the relationship between concepts; 16.35% of students make mistakes in understanding the use of a concept to solve a problems.Keywords : Description, Error form, Mole concept

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan teknik card sort pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 13 Ngabang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Dan penelitian ini bersifat kolaboratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial dengan menggunakan teknik card sort mengalami peningkatan dalam setiap siklusnya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Pada siklus I hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai rata-rata 65 dengan persentase 37,5%. Sedangkan pada siklus II hasil belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 78,75 dengan persentase 100%. Dengan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa tersebut, maka pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial dengan menggunakan teknik card sort dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 13 Ngabang.   Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, Teknik Card Sort   Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe the use of card sort technique to study Social Sciences to improve learning outcomes third grade students of State Elementary School 13 Ngabang. The method used is descriptive method. And this research is collaborative. Which became a subject in the study of this class action is a teacher who is also a researcher and third grade students of State Elementary School 13 Ngabang. This study was conducted in two cycles. In the first cycle of student learning outcomes with an average value of 65 with a percentage of 37.5%. While in the second cycle student learning outcomes increased to 78.75 with the percentage of 100%. With the improvement of student learning outcomes, then learning of Social Sciences by using the card sort technique can improve learning outcomes third grade students of State Elementary School 13 Ngabang. Abstract

AbstractThe main goals of this study were 1) to determine whether there was a significant difference between achievements of students taught using NHT and conventional model, 2) to determine effect size of NHT model on studenst’s achievement on additive and addictive substance material class VIII MTs Khulafaur Rasyidin. Quasi experimental was used as a form of research with design “nonequivalent control group”. The sample was students of VIII D as experiment class and VIII C as control class. The essay test, interview and closed observation sheet was used as instrument of this research to collecting data. According to U-mann Whitney test using SPSS 16, the value of asymp.sig (2-tailed) was 0,02 (0,02<0,05).Therefore, there was a significant difference of student achievement was taught by using cooperative model NHT’s type (numbered head together) with student achievement was taught by using conventional learning to the material additive and adictive substance and getting score asymp.sig (2-tailed) was 0,002 (0,002<0,05) on score test of students’ activity in first meeting and 0,003 (0,003<0,05) on score test of students’ activity in second meeting. Therefore, there was a different of students’ activity in those classes. Effect size was 0,72 which categorical as moderate criteria. Keywords: cooperative model numbered head together, the result of study, activity, additive and adictive substance.

Abstract

Abstrak:  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan eksistensi merek dalam antologi cerita pendek Atas Nama Malam karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma melalui pendekatan semiotika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah 19 cerita pendek dari buku antologi cerita pendek Atas Nama Malam karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma. Dari 19 judul cerita pendek tersebut memuat 34 merek yang masing-masing memiliki intensitas penyebutan yang berbeda.  Hasil analisis data menunjukkan  penyebutan merek berjumlah 34 merek pada 19 cerpen dari 24 cerpen yang menjadi bagian dari antologi tersebut,  intensitas penyebutan merek sangat beragam antara 1 kali hingga 16 kali untuk sebuah merek dan secara keseluruhan terdapat 76 kali penyebutan merek dengan rincian yang terkategori ikon sebanyak 23, simbol 45, dan indeks 8. Dari 34 merek yang dicantumkan terdapat satu merek merupakan data tidak terjangkau. Selain itu hanya sembilan merek yang merupakan alat kapitalis.   Kata kunci : Eksistensi Merek, KapitalismeAtas Nama Malam Abstract:  This study aimed to describe the brand existence in the anthology of short stories Atas Nama Malam by Seno Gumira Ajidarma through the science of semiotics approach. The method used is descriptive. Sources of data in this study is 19 short stories from the anthology of short stories Atas Nama Malam by Seno Gumira Ajidarma. Of the 19 titles of short stories that includes 34 brands that each have a different intensity mention. The result showed the mention of the brand amounted to 34 brands in 19 stories of 24 short stories that are part of the anthology, the intensity of the mention of brand varies between 1 times to 16 times for a brand and overall there are 76 mentions of the brand with details that uncategorized  icon as 23, the symbol 45, and index of 8. Of the 34 brands listed are the brand is the data inaccessible. In addition only nine brand which is a tool of capitalist.   Keyword: Brand Existence, Capitalism Atas Nama Malam

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas fisik, mental, dan emosional siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan menggunakan metode role playing kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 7 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 35 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas fisik siswa dari 26,81% yang muncul di base line menjadi 90,99% disiklus III meningkat sebesar 64,18% dengan kategori tinggi. Pada aktivitas mental dari 5,14% yang muncul di base line menjadi 67,43 % disiklus III meningkat sebesar 62,29% dengan kategori tinggi. Pada aktivitas emosional yakni dari 36,19% yang muncul di base line menjadi 85,71% disiklus III meningkat sebesar 49,52% dengan kategori cukup tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan mengalami peningkatan dengan menggunakan metode role playing.   Kata kunci: Aktivitas Pembelajaran, PKn, Role Playing   Abstract: This study aimed to describe the increase in physical activity, mental, and emotional Citizenship Education students in learning using role playing method Elementary School fifth grade 7 Sungai Raya regency Kubu Raya. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The sample was 35 students. The results showed that the physical activity of 26.81% of students who appeared in the base line to be 90.99% disiklus III increased by 64.18% in the high category. In the mental activity of 5.14%, which appears in the base line to be 67.43% disiklus III increased by 62.29% in the high category. In the emotional activity of 36.19%, which appears in the base line to be 85.71% disiklus III increased by 49.52% to a high enough category. This suggests that students in learning activities Citizenship Education has increased by using role playing.   Keywords: Learning Activities, PKn, Role Playing

Abstract

AbstractSome problems in understanding accounting fundamental equation most of them caused by accounting fundamental equation material was memorizing and accounting, so that those were difficult to understand by student, in this case learning media as inquiry drill was needed to improve learning proses and learning output. This study was aimed to produce learning module program of inquiry drill in economic learning accounting fundamental equation material. The research and development procedures were taken from  Borg and Gall and module design used ADDIE model, the subjects of this study were class elevent students which containt28 students. The anvanced of developing of module design analys, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The instruments collect data were gotten from expert validation inquiry, observation, interview, student’s respond inquiry and dokumentation. Then the reseacher did analys the data on the expert validation inquiry output, observation, interview and student’s respond inquiry.The result of the study showed that inquiry drill learning module could give positive effect of the learning of accounting fundamental equation material; these could be seen from the result of pre-test before learning proses used inquiry drill learning module, the average score was 52,42 and the percentage 7,14%, and the post-test after using inquiry drill learning module, the average score was 87,62 and the percentage 96,42%, so that, from this presentation showed that students had increase in learning proses of accounting fundamental equation material used inquiry drill learning module. Besides that, the increase of the students learning proses could be seen from two couple sample showed that t value < t table (10,42>2,048), means that there was increasing  of the learning proses by using inquiry drill learning module in economic learning accounting fundamental equation material. The result above, inquiry drill learning module could help student in learning fundamental equation material of accounting was easier. Key word: development, inquiry drill learning module, fundamental equation accounting

Abstract

Abstrak: Aktivitas belajar di Kelas VI SDN 09 Pontianak Utara masih rendah mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Dalam pembelajaran guru masih menggunakan metode konvensional, yaitu metode ceramah, pembelajaran matematika masih bersifat verbal, tanpa disertai contoh konkrit. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan perencanaan pembelajaran model kooferatif tipe Stad tentang FPB dan KPK; mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran kooferatif tipe Stad dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas fisik, mental dan emosional peserta didik dalam belajar. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif, dalam bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Prosedur penelitian mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD hasilnya meningkatan aktivitas belajar peserta didik, baik aktifitas fisik, mental, maupun emosional dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik, siklus I nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 63,4 dan meningkat sebesar 68,2 pada siklus II. Kata Kunci: Model Kooperatif Tipe STAD, Peningkatan, Aktivitas Belajar Abstrack: Study activity at slass VI SDN 09 North Pontianak is still low affect student study result. In learning teacher is still use conventional method, mathematic learning still verbaly, without concrete example. This research is purpose to describe mathematic lesson plan cooperative model type STAD about GCD and LCM; describe cooperative learning implementation type STAD and describe physical activy improvement, mental and emotional of student and study. The reserch use descriptive method, in from in classrom action reserct. Research procedure including plan, implementatio, observation and reflection. The result of the use cooperative learning method type style STAD are increasing student study activy, either phicycal activy, mental, or emotional and also able to increase student study activy, cycle I class average score 63,4 and increase 68,2 cycle II. Abstract

Abstrak: Judul Skripsi ini adalah “Interaksi Sosial Asosiatif Antara Etnis Melayu, Tionghoa dan Madura di Desa Sungai Kunyit Laut Kecamatan Sungai Kunyit Kabupaten Mempawah”. Masalah umum didalam skripsi ini adalah bentuk interaksi sosial antara Etnis Melayu, Tionghoa dan Madura di Desa Sungai Kunyit Laut Kecamatan Sungai Kunyit Kabupaten Mempawah. Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat interaksi sosial asosiatif dalam bentuk kerja sama antara Etnis Melayu, Tionghoa dan Madura. Skripsi ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriftif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan studi kepustakaan. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Etnis dari Melayu, Tionghoa dan Madura dalam hal kerja sama untuk bentuk aktivitas tolong menolong masih sangat kurang sedangkan untuk berkoalisi ada beberapa dari etnis tersebut yang bekerjasama seperti dalam hal perdagangan yang melibatkan beberapa orang dari masing – masing etnis tersebut. Selanjutnya latar belakang dari masyarakat masing - masing etnis tersebut antara satu dengan yang lainnya tidak ada kedekatan yang sangat erat di dalam kehidupan sehari – hari. Kata Kunci :  Interaksi Sosial Asosiatif, etnis Melayu, Tionghoa dan Madura.  Abstract: The title of this thesis is "Socio-Socio-Social Interaction Between Ethnic Malays, Tionghoa and Madura in Kunyit River Village of Laut Kecamatan Sungai Kunyit Mempawah". A common problem in this thesis is the form of social interaction between ethnic Malays, Chinese and Madurese in Kunyit River Village of Sungai Kecamatan Sungai Kunyit Mempawah Regency. This thesis aims to determine the level of social interaction associative in the form of cooperation between ethnic Malays, Chinese and Madurese. This thesis uses descriptive research method with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used interviews and literature studies. The data collection tool uses interview and documentation guidelines. The results of this study indicate that ethnic from Malay, Chinese and Madurese in terms of cooperation for the form of helping activity is still very lacking while for the coalition there are some of these ethnic who cooperate as in the case of trade involving several people from each ethnic group. Furthermore, the background of each ethnic society between one another does not have a very close closeness in everyday life.Keywords: Social Interaction Asosiatif, ethnic Malays, Chinese and Madurese.
