Abstract

Stunting is the failure growth in toddlers is due to malnutrition over a long period of time, exposure to repeated infections and lack of stimulation. The period 0-24 months is a golden period that determines the quality of life and is very sensitive because the consequences for the baby during this period will be permanent and cannot be corrected. The aim of this research is to analyze the history of low birth weight and the incidence of stunting in babies. The research design used in this research is a descriptive analytic with retrospective design. The population in this study were 2 years old baby in the working area of the Katarina Simanjuntak Clinic and the sampling technique in this research is a purposive technique, a sampling technique that is based on certain criteria previously determined by the researcher with totaling 98 people. The instrument used in this research was microtoise and KIA Books. The results of data analysis showed that 12 babies with birth weight at risk experienced stunting (24.5%) and 1 person (2%) did not experience stunting with the p value is 0.001, meaning that there is a significant relationship and there was a 15,568 chance of stunting in babies born with low weight compared to babies born with normal weight. This research can used to provide references to health workers in efforts to prevent stunting by optimizing the provision of nutrition and stimulation, especially for babies with low birth weight.

Abstract

The problem of undernutrition among toddlers is still a problem that cannot be resolved properly. The role of the family in overcoming the problem of undernutrition is very necessary because toddlers are dependent on nutritional requirements. Therefore, efforts are needed to overcome this problem by increasing the provision of appropriate nutritional education for toddlers so that toddlers avoid the problem of malnutrition. This research aims to determine the extent of the influence of providing nutrition education on mothers' knowledge and behavior in fulfilling nutrition for toddlers. The research design used a "Quasi experimental pre-post test design with control" design with 37 respondents in the intervention group and 37 control groups. This research was carried out by providing intervention to 37 families of toddlers, especially education about toddler nutrition and looking at the effect on changes in mothers' knowledge and behavior in fulfilling toddler nutrition. The nutrition education intervention was provided over 4 meetings and continued with assistance through home visits over 2 meetings. The results of the research show that there is an influence between providing nutrition education on family knowledge and behavior. This data can be used as material for consideration by community nurses in providing education about nutrition in an effort to increase mothers' knowledge and behavior in fulfilling nutrition for toddlers to avoid malnutrition problems.

Abstract

The existence of information technology has now had a major influence in all fields, including the health sector. The application of information technology can be used as a solution in managing health data. One example is designing a system for registering and filling in patient clinical data at Pratama clinics. In general, the implementation of health data processing still uses manual methods which has problems from distribution officers, namely if a medical record file is missed, so it takes time to search for medical records. The research method used is a descriptive survey. The data collection method is observation and free guided interviews. By identifying outpatient registration flow variables, patient data, registration data, doctor data, examination data and polyclinic data. The approach used is cross sectional. And uses a system development method, namely SDLC (System Development Life Cycle). The design of a website-based clinical data filling information system at Pratama Clinic was built using the PHP programming language and MYSQL database with input of patient data, registration data, doctor data, examination data and polyclinic data. Then it produces output patient data reports, registration data reports, doctor data reports, polyclinic data reports, KIB, and daily patient examination reports

Abstract

Fracture is a condition where the continuity of bone tissue and/or cartilage is completely or partially broken, caused by force trauma or osteoporosis. Fracture management includes conservative measures and surgical procedures. Conservative measures given include plaster casts, splints, skin traction, bone traction, as well as repairs by manipulation and repositioning to a position close to normal. One of the impacts of installing skeletal traction is pressure ulcers. Pressure ulcers are a problem that often occurs in prominent bony areas such as the heel (calcaneal). Objective: patients who are installed in skeletal traction. Method: using pre-experimental methods with One-group pre-post test design techniques. Results: Based on the occurrence of pressure ulcers before being given the heel donut, there were 8 patients who did not experience pressure ulcers with a percentage of 57.1% and 6 patients who experienced stage 1 pressure ulcers, 42.8%. After being given the heel donut, 14 patients did not experience pressure ulcers with a percentage of 100% and no respondents experienced stage 1 pressure ulcers after being given the heel donut. Conclusions: Hedon (heel donut) is effective in preventing pressure ulcers in the calcaneal of patients who are installed in skeletal traction.

Abstract

Tentative Underlying Cause of Death (TUCoD) is the code selected as the result of each step in the process, when applying the instructions for each step. This research is a descriptive study with a cross sectional data approach, data sources obtained from primary data, namely the results of patient medical record documents and the results of interviews with the head of medical records and coding officers using research instruments, observation guidelines, interview guidelines, check-lists, MMDS tables. The samples taken was 82 samples from a total population of 444 general death certificates. The data sources taken are primary sources, namely the results of interviews and observations and secondary sources are taken from the SPO for coding the death index. The results of the accuracy of writing the sequence of events were 85% and the inaccuracy was 15%, this was due to the recording being carried out by the doctor in charge of the patient, determination of the tentative underlying cause of death code which is based on rule 1 at 24% with each rule 1 namely Rule 1.1 at 45% and rule 1.2 at 55%, rule 2 is 7% and General Principle rule is 69. Conclution this researsch procedure uses ICD-10 but does not involve MMDS, 85% of the event sequence writing is accurate, while 15% is inaccurate, the determination of rule 1 is 26% respectively for rule 1, namely rule 1.1 at 43% and rule 1.2 at 57% rule 2 at 6% and rule GP at 68% suggest immediate revision of the SOP for causes of death by involving MMDS in the death coding procedure. It would be better for coding officers to be more careful in coding the diagnosis of the basic cause of death so that there is no diagnosis without a code. diagnosis and improve coordination between medical record officers, doctors and other health workers to increase the completeness of medical records.

Abstract

Nausea and vomiting are physiological. This physiological condition will turn into pathology if good treatment is not carried out. One non-pharmacological treatment to reduce nausea and vomiting can be acupressure. Nausea, vomiting is often considered a normal thing that occurs in pregnant women, so it is often ignored. Symptoms of nausea can be severe if not managed properly. Various efforts have been made to reduce maternal nausea and vomiting. In addition to pharmacological therapy can also be carried out nonphamacological therapy that is simple, inexpensive, effective, and without adverse side effects, namely in the form of acupressure or massage at the point 6 of the pericardium. The purpose of the study was to measure literature related to pericardium acupressure. The method used in this study is metadata analysis using a literature review by searching for relevant articles. The review source uses electronic media from several databases including Science Direct and Google Scholar which were published from 2015 to 2020. With the keywords, vomiting/vomiting; nausea/nausea; pregnancy/pregnant women; acupressure/acupressure; pericardium 6/ neiguan. Results: Based on the results of a literature review of several studies, it shows that there is an effect of providing acupressure techniques on reducing nausea and vomiting in pregnant women in the first trimester. Discussion: Acupressure at pericardium point 6 can produce good evaluations in mothers who experience nausea and vomiting in the mild and moderate categories. Acupressure therapy also does not require taking drugs because with acupressure therapy the body already contains drugs. Conclusion: The use of the pericardium 6 acupressure method in pregnant women in reducing nausea and vomiting shows its effectiveness.
