Abstract

Social deviations against adolescents are increasingly prevalent because of their curiosity to find identity so that for those who have the wrong association, it will have an impact on social deviations and become drug addicts. While drugs are increasing, there are not many people around to suggest addicts to rehabilitation. This study aims to identify and describe the habituation process of adolescent drug addicts at the stage of Mental, Narcotics, and Geriatrics rehabilitation at the Dhira Suman Tritoha Foundation. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods, observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results of the research in this matter were analyzed using Pierre Bordieu"™s theory of Cultural Reproduction, showing that the Dhira Suman Tritoha rehabilitation foundation played a role in shaping the character of adolescent drug addicts through four aspects, namely (1) habitus: adaption of adolescent former drug addicts, (2) capital: there are four, namely economic capital (rehabilitation costs borne by parents of drug-addicted adolescent patients, social capital (establishment of the closeness of a relationship with one another in rehabilitation foundation), cultural capital (habituation in behavior is formed well), symbolic capital (providing self-control to adolescent addicted patients). (3) Arena: a form of struggle for drug addicts to recover, (4) Symbolic Violence: formation of the character of former drug addicts through control. Adolescent drug addicts during rehabilitation form good character and understanding of social norms.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memformulasikan strategi Polri dalam menangani konflik majemuk berbasis multikultural. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif untuk menyelidiki taktik yang digunakan oleh Polri dalam menegakkan kerukunan dan ketentraman dalam masyarakat yang beragam. Landasan penelitian ini mencakup peringatan para pengamat intelijen terhadap kemungkinan konflik menjelang pemilu 2024, khususnya terkait politik identitas dan masalah agama. Wawancara mendalam dengan anggota Polri yang terlibat dalam penyelesaian konflik digunakan, bersama dengan dokumen kebijakan dan analisis literatur yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terformulasikan penerapan multikulturalisme sebagai strategi penting untuk menyelesaikan perselisihan di lingkungan Polri, dan mengatasi kemungkinan terjadinya berbagai perselisihan pada masyarakat Indonesia. Meskipun pelatihan yang ditargetkan mengenai kepekaan budaya menjadi landasan bagi peningkatan kompetensi dan pemahaman, keterlibatan masyarakat menandakan pergeseran menuju kemitraan yang inklusif dan jangka panjang. Polri diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pelatihan masyarakat agar dapat menjadi mitra yang dapat diandalkan dalam membina perdamaian dan keharmonisan dalam masyarakat Indonesia yang beragam, selain menjadi alat penyelesaian konflik yang efisien.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic requires the learning system to be carried out online. One of the online learning methods developed by "Badan PPSDM Kesehatan implemented by Poltekkes Kemenkes Kupang is VILEP or Virtual Learning Poltekkes. This studi aims to obtain an overview of the implementation of learning using VILEP at Poltekkes Kemenkes Kupuang. The research was conducted by survey with an observational descriptive design. The implementation of VILEP at the Health Poltekkes of the Ministry of Health of Kupang has been implemented since 2018. In the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, the average VILEP realization courses has only reached 31,47%; while the average implementation of VILEP has only reached 52.38%. Efforts to re-socialize, mentoring by VILEP admins and training on digital teaching materials are the main points to maximize lecturers' readiness to use VILEP in further learning.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the social competence of teachers in learning geography at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya during the COVID-19 pandemic. The type of research used in this research is descriptive using qualitative methods. The data sources for this study were the geography teachers, the principal, and three students in grades X, XI, XII IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. This study's data collection techniques were through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data collection tools used were observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation tools. The analysis in this study was presented in a qualitative descriptive manner using two key informants and four supporting informants. The results showed that 1) Teachers in the geography learning process used written communication methods more often during the COVID-19 pandemic. 2) Teachers' communication and information technology  were  laptops, smartphones, WhatsApp, and google classroom applications in the learning process. There are no obstacles for teachers in using the technology devices, only limited quotas for students and teachers. 3) The way teachers interact and socialize in the learning process is considered suitable for the students.

Abstract

This study aimed to gather the perception of students regarding online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, on the aspect of the existence of teaching lecturers and interactions between lecturers and students. This study used a qualitative descriptive research method. The sources of data were observation data, students' interview results, and documentation of online lecture activities. The results showed that the existence of teaching lecturers in online learning was going well. This was proven by the lecturer providing planning of teaching materials according to the learning objectives but not providing the lecture syllabus, explaining the lecture contract to students at the beginning of the lecture, and providing the lecture schedule which was carried out by the lecturer being present on time. The results of research on the interaction between lecturers and students showed positive results. However, there were also things that needed to be improved, such as the internet network.

Abstract

Motivation is one of the things that influences student learning success. Without motivation, the learning process will be difficult to achieve success. This research aims to determine the effect of using the Trigger feature of Power Point media on the learning motivation of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Tolitoli. This researcher used a type of quantitative research. The method used in this research was the Pre Experiment or experimental research method, the research subjects were students at SMP Negeri 3 Tolitoli class VIII. The instruments in this research are observation, questionnaires and documentation. As for the results of this research, there is a positive and significant influence. Based on the data that has been collected and tests that have been carried out using product moment correlation from the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) program, the average calculated R value is > R Table based on test results significance 0.5. The correlation coefficient value (calculated r) for each variable shows that the correlation value between the item scores and the total item score for the 6 questions has a correlation value that is greater than the correlation value of the r table at a significance level of 0.05 with degrees of freedom df (N-K)/30-2 =28). So the results can be concluded that there is a difference in the average results of student learning motivation between the learning model using power point media with trigger features and the conventional model.

Abstract

Education aims to develop and change human beings to have good character and lead to perfection. However, along with the times and the entry of globalization, education conditions are increasingly vulnerable to changes in behavior that lead to moral degradation, so it is necessary to instill character education values as early as possible. It doesn't have to be focused on family, school, and society, but can also be done through other educational media such as films which have their charm for the audience. One of them is the Film Layangan Putus, and this study aims to describe what character education values are contained in the Film Layangan Putus episode 1A produced by MD Entertainment. The method used is a literature study with primary data, namely Film Layangan Putus episode 1A. In contrast, the secondary data are books, articles, and related journals accompanied by documentary techniques during collection, analyzed the contents and finally concluded. The result is that the values of character education in the Film Layangan Putus episode 1A produced by MD Entertainment include the importance of rationality, integrity, courage, humility, compassion, curiosity, democracy, religion, responsibility, independence, logical thinking, hard work, and wisdom.

Abstract

This study discusses the strategies used by teachers at SMA Negeri 5 Purworejo to increase students' interest in Sociology subjects because the lesson is often considered boring and uninteresting for students. The purpose of this study was to analyze how the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model using the mind mapping method is implemented and how it impacts students' participation and interest in learning. This study uses a qualitative approach and uses data collection techniques through observation, direct observation of the learning process, and interviews to determine students' interest in this learning approach. The results of the study indicate that the Mind Mapping method helps students visualize ideas and understand abstract material, while the Think Pair Share (TPS) model encourages students to work together to solve problems and connect various concepts. The combination of these methods and models creates a more active, collaborative, and enjoyable learning environment. These findings suggest that sociology teachers can utilize the integration of Think Pair Share and Mind Mapping as an effective learning alternative to improve students' learning interest and thinking skills at the secondary school level.

Abstract

The purpose   of   this study   is   to describe   and   analyze in-depth   about   parenting patterns   in   building social   behavior   of adolescents   in   Banjarsari   Subdistrict   Cipocok   Jaya   Serang   City.   The   research   conducted   is   qualitative   field   research,   where   this   research   produces   analytical   procedures   that   do   not   use   statistical   analysis   procedures   or   other   quantification   methods.The   method   used   in   this   study   is a descriptive   method.   Data   collection   techniques   are   conducted   among   others:   interviews,   observations   and   documentation.   Interviews   are   conducted   on   parents   and   children.   Observations   are   carried   out   to   see   the   parenting   patterns   given   to   the   child.   And   documentation   is   done   in   order   to   obtain   information   and   written   sources   or   documents   when  conducting   research.Parenting Patterns in Adolescent Social Behavior Development In Banjarsari Village, Cipocok Jaya District, Serang City, no parents are involved in raising their children, and only one parenting pattern is used in educating and caring for them.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) principles in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at Indonesian Schools for Change. Using a qualitative approach with an exploratory case study method, this study involved 18 informants from five Schools for Change, consisting of principals, teacher leaders, class teachers, curriculum coordinators, and representatives of parents/school committees. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The results show that the integration of SDGs in the Independent Curriculum can be implemented through three main strategies: integrated learning in subjects, the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), and school-community collaboration. Best practices found include a sustainable literacy park program, a renewable energy project, and an environmentally friendly school cooperative that effectively develop students' sustainability awareness. However, implementation faces significant challenges in the form of limited teacher understanding (89%), a lack of technological resources (72%), and cultural resistance to change (78%). This study concludes that although the Independent Curriculum provides flexibility to integrate SDGs values, it requires strengthening teacher capacity, providing adequate resources, and sustainable policy support to achieve optimal implementation.
