Abstract

The role of nursing students as future healthcare professionals is very important, as prediabetic patients can progress to diabetes without proper treatment.  They are expected to become community health role models with knowledge and skills in early detection of prediabetes.  The purpose of the Prediabetes Screening Training for Trainers is to train these students to become youth health cadres of SRIKANDI (Diabetes Concerned Community). The program aims to increase participants' knowledge level from 6.64 to 8.14 by leveraging 2 days of 300 minutes of lectures, discussions, simulation methods, and a website that provides educational materials and tools for diabetes risk prevention succeeded. These results demonstrate that 14 of the 45 students who participated in the training became educators under the SRIKANDI program and are committed to forming youth health cadres who can contribute to the prevention and early detection of prediabetes.

Abstract

Mong elementary school children, so this problem should be resolved by providing training in reading the Al-Qur’an properly and correctly to improve their ability. Reciting Al-Qur’an. Based on these problems, community service students majoring in Islamic education counseling 3 UINSU will provide training in learning to read the Al-Qur’an to elementary school children in Brandan Barat Subdistrict with the hope of helping and improving the reading of the Al-Qur’an to elementary school children in the Subdistrict. The. The method used in this activity uses Using qualitative research methods, because the approach taken is through a descriptive qualitative approach, in qualitative research using the results of interviews and observations and training methods for elementary school children in Brandan Barat Subdistrict by conducting training in reading the Al-Qur’an at the homes of residents who are Koran teachers in the new village of Brandan Barat subdistrict. This Al-Qur’an reading training is carried out every evening at the Koran teacher’s house and is assisted by community service students from UINSU. Based on the results of the implementation of the program carried out by UINSU community service students, they will be able to improve the abilities of elementary school children in Brandan Barat Subdistrict both in reading the Al- Qur’an, training in the tone of reading the Al-Qur’an and reading tajwid verses of the Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

Silage is a simple processed feed which is carried out by means of anaerobic fermentation. The community service activity program was done in Werwaru village in 2022. The main target in implementing this community service was the breeder community in Werwaru Village. This team consisted of lecturers and students of Pattimura University Animal Husbandry Study Program (PSDKU). The results of the implementation of community service with the theme of processing forage for animal feed into silage feed got well and smoothly, this could be said because of being participated on the head of villager and his staff. During the presentation on materials, the community gave interactive questions related to silage processing so that the breeder community felt more aware of the benefits, used and methods of processing forage into silage feed. With the implementation of this community service activity, it was hoped that it would provide benefits to the livestock community in Werwaru village.

Abstract

Community empowerment is a way to increase and strengthen community skills to participate in development which is carried out energetically. The expected result is that the community can resolve the problems experienced in a more flexible (independent) and self-sufficient way. The community empowerment approach that is realized in development in a participatory manner (Participatory Rural Appraissal) is very suitable for business groups so that they can then overcome problems that arise. in group activities. The partner of this service is the Tunas Berkah Women's Farmers Group which operates in the field of vegetable plant breeding, which is domiciled in RW 04 Gedog Village, Sananwetan District, Blitar City. Service Objectives: to form partners who are more productive and have a high entrepreneurial spirit and values, to improve students' experience of studying outside campus as one of the implementations of MBKM. Implementation of activities includes program planning, administrative preparation and team coordination, Continuous assistance from pre-production to post-production, Activity Evaluation and Control. The results of the activities achieved are Overcoming seed production problems, overcoming business management and human resource problems, Overcoming seed marketing problems. Using the PRA method, FGD activities, PRA training/socialization, nursery cultivation training, nursery business management training, and marketing have been carried out which can increase the capacity of groups with larger business scales that have an organizational and economic impact.

Abstract

Narcotic, psychotropic, and addictive substance abuse (NAPZA) is a serious problem that affects the quality of life of many people at various levels of society.  Good quality of life is a state or state of life for an individual or group of people in a particular place and time in which they can experience positive emotions in the form of happiness and satisfaction.  One way to help drug addicts maintain a good quality of life is through rehabilitation programs. One of the rehabilitation facilities that plays an important role in this is Stacoetoe Medan Plus Rehabilitation. However, the success of this rehabilitation also depends on a holistic approach that includes educational aspects. General Goal: 4,444 drug addicts will be able to perform and optimize activities that will improve their quality of life and increase their productivity.  Specifically: Know the basic principles for improving quality of life (understanding, goals, characteristics of people who already have a good quality of life) and understand the supporting factors for improving quality of life and take steps to improve their quality of life.  Quality of life.  The method used is qualitative method.  Conducted at Stakoetoe Medan Plus, Jamin Pinting Street, and Pasar VII Street No. 45, Padang Bulan.  The number of participants in this consultation was 36 people.

Abstract

By providing instruction on shallot processing, this PKM hopes to raise the selling price of shallots. The strategies that are employed are monitoring, planning, and execution. This activity culminates in training on processed shallots. Together, collaborators and resource persons use the supplied tools and materials to manufacture processed shallots. 76 percent of partners now understand and intend to try manufacturing processed shallots because of this engagement. Resource people supply information about packaging, including ordering, pricing, choosing, labeling, and figuring out profit and loss, through partner packaging training. Sixty-eight percent of partners know what packaging is. Online marketing training: Resource people provided partners with information about using the Shopee marketplace for online marketing and setting up accounts for online sales.

Abstract

This Community Learning and Empowerment Program (PPM) has the main objective of introducing and implementing the Homogeneity Psycho Cognition (HPC) strategy for teachers and students at Negeri Lama State Elementary School. Prospective partners who act as subjects in this activity are SD Negeri Negeri Lama, Teluk Ambon Baguala District, Ambon City. Partner problems are related to the lack of efforts to train and develop 21st century life skills, namely HOTS skills in learning. So far, Mitra has found it difficult to carry out evaluations related to aspects of character and emotional intelligence. In fact, these two aspects really determine the success of students. Learning is also still teacher centered. Most teachers are not yet familiar with various learning strategies, especially HPC, which have the potential to develop life skills for students. This activity is carried out in the form of assistance for teachers in understanding various learning strategies and thematic approaches in K-13. Other activities include assisting teachers in developing or implementing practical learning for students using HPC strategies, as well as developing 21st century life skills assessment instruments.

Abstract

The training conducted by the Community Service Team (PkM) FEB-Usakti is to provide knowledge and understanding of the Strategy for Increasing Customer Loyalty and Business Sustainability at Bina Amanah Cordova Entrepreneurship School (SKBAC) in Tangerang. The program, attended by 17 entrepreneurs (10 females, 7 males) primarily from the food industry, utilized a methodological framework comprising lectures and interactive discussions. Preceding the main event, preparatory activities included surveys, coordination meetings, module development, and partner liaisons. Held on January 15, 2021, the session engaged participants in a pre-test and post-test to gauge their comprehension. Results indicated an increased understanding among participants regarding the significance of catering to both internal and external consumers and achieving customer satisfaction. These insights are vital for developing strategies aimed at fostering customer loyalty and ensuring sustainable business practices. Participants acknowledged the training as highly beneficial and in alignment with their expectations. It is hoped that future PkM activities will be a continuation of previous activities by providing material that supports this activity so that there is a complete and continuous activity.  The output that has been produced in addition to Publication in Accredited Journals is the creation of Intellectual Property Rights in the form of Copyright

Abstract

The implementation of activities is carried out in MSMEs in the food and beverage sector. MSMEs as businesses that affect the economy in Indonesia need a review of business legality for business development. Currently, MSMEs still lack knowledge of the importance of business legality ownership so many MSMEs do not have legality. This activity is carried out to provide knowledge and assist in the process of making business legality such as NIB, halal certification. Another activity is digital bookkeeping which is also an obstacle for MSMEs that are still recording manually. The method used is socialization of the importance of legality and bookkeeping as well as assistance in making NIB, halal certificates, and digital bookkeeping using the Teman Bisnis application. The results of this activity are that MSMEs can recognize the importance of legality for their business, MSMEs already have business legality such as NIB, halal certificate processes, and have digital-based financial bookkeeping.

Abstract

PHBS is a set of behaviors that are practiced based on awareness as an effort to be healthy and actively help the health of the surrounding environment. Clean and Healthy Behavior at an early age is important to maintain personal and environmental health. Early childhood is also susceptible to infectious diseases such as flu and diarrhea if they do not maintain personal and surrounding hygiene. Diarrheal disease is often considered a trivial matter but if it is not addressed it can result in quite serious matters. Therefore, we conducted community services which aims to provide students’ knowledge and understanding about Clean and Healthy Behavior and diarrheal diseases which often attack children at Muhammadiyah 1 Malang Elementary School students. The implementation method is carried out by counseling using power point media and videos. In the initial activity, a question-and-answer session was carried out, then giving educational material, showing educational videos, then evaluating it with a posttest.
