The study aims to determine the effectiveness of the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) learning model on the ability to understand mathematical concepts in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Rakit Kulim. This type of research is a quasi-experimental. The research design used was the Randomized Subjects Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Rakit Kulim. The Sampling technique is Nonprobability Sampling. Class VIII.B was selected as the experimental class and class VIII.A as control class. The data collection technique used in this study was a test of the ability to understand mathematical concepts in the form of essay questions. Data analysis techniques in this study used the Normality Test, Homogeneity Test and Hypothesis Test. Based on the result of research on the two sample classes, it was found that form the results of data analysis with the T-test, the result of Sig. < α is 0,00 < 0,05. Then the decision taken is to accept H1 and reject H0. Thus there is a significant difference between the average student learning outcomes in the experimental class using the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) model which is better than the control class. So it be concluded that CTL (Sontextual Teaching and Learning) learning is effective on the ability to understand mathematical concepts in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Rakit Kulim.

This research study investigates students’ perception of using the Scavenger Hunt game to understand the social context of second language acquisition. The participant of this research was 12 undergraduate students in the 5th semester. The data were collected from questionnaires, documentation, and interview. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. This study revealed that Scavenger Hunt is an exciting way to understand the social context of Second Language Acquisition because the students experienced directly and what they did were examples of some issues in learning the social context of Second Language Acquisition (SLA). Teachers and lecturers should consider the integration of Scavenger Hunt and specific topics with some adaptation to make the activity effective in the teaching and learning process.

This study aims to analyze the difficulties experienced by science teachers in learning science in junior high schools and elementary schools, to explain the obstacles experienced by teachers in learning science, and to explain the factors that cause difficulties in learning science in junior high schools and elementary schools. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The sample in this study were all science educators at MI NW Kumbung and MTs NW Kumbung. Sampling was done by total sampling technique. The research data is in the form of data on constraints in the implementation of Integrated Science learning obtained from closed questionnaires and semi-open questionnaires from educator responses which are analyzed using descriptive qualitative and information obtained from interviews. The results show that the preparation of lesson plans for MI NW Kumbung and MTs NW Kumbung has a percentage of 70%. Presentation of Materials at MI NW Kumbung and Mts NW Kumbung obtained a percentage of 60% & 65% which is still low. IPA graduate teachers that teach science subjects at MI is a factor that cause teachers' difficulties in teaching science extrinsically are the lack of laboratory facilities and the lack of training activities and KKG and the lack of support from schools.

Citizenship education is an educational process to build exemplary will and ability to develop creativity that reflects national identity which is conditional on Indonesian socio-cultural values. Citizenship Education (Civic Education) which places proportional aspects of Education. The basis of the research used to obtain the results of the influence of civics education on the younger generation is by means of a survey. The survey aims to collect information about variables from a population or group of objects. This research is widely used to solve problems in the field of education including policy formulation. Based on the survey results percentage chart, we can draw a conclusion if the younger generation has implemented religious character, democratic character, discipline, responsibility, critical thinking, and caring for others.

This research was action research conducted at MA Darul Aminin NW Aikmual with research subjects was students of class XI IPA. The material taught is about the digestive system in humans. The research was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that in cycle 1 with an average of 70.50 it did not meet the KKM target of 75 but showed an increase from the pre-cycle, because it had not reached the KKM target it was necessary to carry out the next cycle action, namely cycle 2. cycle 1 showed an increase in student achievement according to the KKM target, which was 78.00. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the STAD type cooperative learning model can improve student achievement in class XI IPA MA Darul Aminin NW Aikmual.

This research aims to determine the effect of the Pilot Type Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Learning Model on Social Studies Learning Outcomes of Grade III Students at SDN Sumbek Central Lombok in 2023. The background of this research is the lack of interest in students in Social Studies learning due to the material being too broad and the inculcation of values which is not given by the teacher so that learning outcomes are less than optimal. The design in this research was a quasi-experimental non-equivalent group design. The population of this study were all students of class III at SDN Sumbek, totaling 47 students and the technique used in sampling was a saturated sample technique where class III A was the control class and class III B was the experimental class, totaling 47 students. The data collection method in this research is to use the test method. The results showed that the average value of the experimental class pre-test was 60.69 and the control class pre-test was 62.50 while the experimental class post-test average value was 84.00 and the class post-test average value control of 75.66. Data on learning outcomes were analyzed using the t-test (t-test) polled variance with a significant level of 5%. Based on the results of the t-test statistical analysis, the results obtained are tcount > ttable, which is 3.31 > 2.00 at a significance level of 5%. This shows that Ho is declared rejected and Ha is declared accepted.

This paper discusses the Study of Analysis of Problem Based Learning Models in Developing Students' Critical Thinking at SD Negeri 1 Praya Tengah· and the problems in this research namely; How is the effectiveness of the problem-based learning model (Problem Based Learning) in developing students' critical thinking in natural science subjects at SDN 1 Praya Tengah and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of problem-based learning models (Problem Based Learning) in developing students' critical thinking at SDN 1 Praya Tengah. This study uses a qualitative approach, data collection techniques through observation interviews and documentation, data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of the problem-based learning model in developing the critical thinking of students at SDN 1 Praya Tengah has been well implemented. Problem solving in a learning process has an important role to create learning that is liked and liked by students and makes learning more meaningful so that students are able to develop their critical thinking. From the conclusion, the implications are that the learning model is something that educators really need to achieve goals, the school provides training to educators regarding learning models, maintaining what has been done, and for students at SDN 1 Praya Tengah, regarding the ability to think critically through models.

Scientific thinking skills becomes a important competency for a student in achieving a successful learning process. The success of students in their learning process is influenced by their own ability to process their thinking processes or what is often called metacognition. Several studies on metacognition have been conducted but only associated with academic achievement and critical thinking skills and are more likely to be directed at the exact sciences. Likewise with research on scientific thinking, only limited to the cognitive level and has not yet touched on the metacognition dimension. Based on this background, the purpose of this research is to analyze the contribution of metacognitive knowledge and metacognitive regulation to the scientific thinking skills. The research method is a quantitative method with the type of ex post facto. The data collection technique used an instrument in the form of questionnaire with a sample of 194 students who were actively registered in the Christian Religious Education study program at Kupang State Institute of Christianity. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The result showed that there was a contribution of metacognitive knowledge to the scientific thinking skills by 21,6%. Meanwhile, the contribution of metacognitive regulation to the scientific thinking skills by 0,9% and the contribution of metacognitive knowledge and metacognition regulation to the scientific thinking skills by 22,5%. The rest, 77,5% of scientific thinking skills is determined by other factors such as motivation, level of critical thinking, self monitoring, and various other aspects of factors.

This research aims: (1) to examine what strategies are used by kindergarten teachers in implementing English vocabulary learning, (2) to examine strategies for implementing English vocabulary learning carried out by teachers in TK Alifba, and (3) to examine how teachers Alifba Kindergarten evaluates the results of the strategy for implementing the English vocabulary learning process. This research was qualitative research because it only describes the situation and condition of the strategy for implementing the English vocabulary learning process in Alifba Kindergarten. Since only one teacher teaches English, the teacher is taken as the research subject and is called the data source. The instruments used to collect data are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed with narrative procedures. The results of the study show that in the strategy for implementing the vocabulary learning process, the Alifba Kindergarten teacher prepares the syllabus and teaching materials per lesson package. Teachers use various strategies in implementing the learning process and these strategies include singing, playing roles, and through picture cards. Furthermore, in evaluating the results of the implementation of the teaching and learning process, the teacher evaluates students using one type of test, namely the walking process test. The tests are carried out individually.

The purpose of the research is to describe how the center method or Beyond Center and Circle Time Method is implemented in character educational management in Indria Islamic School Kindergarten Sepatan Timur Tangerang. This is qualitative research. It’s combined with management function which is we want to know about the preparation, the implementation, the evaluation and the supporting and the obstacle factors. The data collection technique used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data validity is used the source of triangulation, which means comparing and re-checking the degree of in the information obtained. The data analysis uses Miles and Huberman. The result of the study in Indria Islamic School Kindergarten Sepatan Timur Tangerang implements the center method in character educational management is effective and efficient. This is reflected for the plan preparation, implementation and the evaluation was very good. The supporting factors are the Al- Qur’an and Hadits as main guidelines of Islam. While inhibiting factor is the lack of literacy references and play creations.
