Abstract

The use of the Indonesian language is a cultural development nation, as well as the unifying language of the Indonesian na Today most of humanity is bilingual. Bilingual symptoms can o anytime and anywhere. One of them is in the educational environm The educational environment is one of the formal places w Indonesian is supposed to be used. Abstract

The characterization analysis of the main character is given particular focus in this study. The data source in this study is the Cinderella 2021 movie written and directed by Kay Cannon. The main character in this Cinderella 2021 movie is a young girl named Cinderella, who is often called Ella, who has a dream to open a dress shop business. This study focuses more on the characterization of the main character in the Cinderella 2021 movie. The purpose of this study is to find out how the main character is described and interpreted based on the aspect of the character. The character aspects in question are divided into psychological, sociological, and physiological. Data were collected through observation. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The data found in this study were 6 data, divided into 3 data on psychological aspects, 1 data on sociological, and 2 data on physiological aspects.

Abstract

abstrakThis research was based on the   problem of   the students misconceptions on the acid-base material. To overcome this misconception, refutation text teaching materials were developed. This study aimed to produce a teaching material and examine the responses of students and teachers at SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak and SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak on teaching materials developed using the ADDIE development model. In a small group trial, the model was applied on 8 students of class XI MIA. In a large group trial, it was applied on 64 students and 2 chemistry teachers in the studied schools. The instrumentation of the research data used were eligibility options, student questionnaires, and teacher response questionnaires. The results of data processing showed that the teaching materials developed are suitable for use in learning from the validation of the feasibility of the material by 92.72%, the feasibility of language by 92.11%, and the feasibility of graphics by 95.89% with a very feasible category. Based on the results of student questionnaire calculations, the responses obtained were 95.31% in small group trials, 89.18% in large group trials, and 91.66% in teacher responses. This showed that the response of students and teachers to refutation text teaching materials for acid-base materials at SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak and MSA Negeri 9 Pontianak was classified as very high. Abstract

This research is aimed to introduce one technique of performing English public speaking to non-English major students called Ultra-Short Presentation. There were a number of 34 non-English students of Faculty of Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta, participated in this study, registered as the second semester in the academic year of 2022/2023. The method applied in this study was quantitative approach with true experimental design. In collecting the data, both pre and post-tests of performing public speaking virtually were used. Each student"™s English public speaking performance was assessed by using scoring rubric for public speaking covering three facets; the introduction, the middle, the conclusion. This assessment consisted from "˜excellent"™ to "˜very poor"™ criterions. The analysis data of one-group pretest-post-test design revealed that the students performed better in the post-test than in the pre-test in which the average score they obtained in this test was 61.4, while in the post-test was 82.3. Besides, among the three parts assessment, the students reached their highest performance in the introduction section, while the lowest achievement was in the middle. These results confirmed that Ultra-Short Presentation was effective in making English public speaking of non-English major students more effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of Think Pair Share (TPS) learning methods to improve the achievement of civic education for SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Ambawang Class VII.B students in the 2018/2019 academic year.   This study is a two-cycle classroom action research. Each cycle consists of four phases: planning, action, observation, and consideration. The subjects of this study were SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Ambawang Class VII.B students in 2018/2019, for a total of 27 students. Based on the results of this survey, it has been shown that applying a learning model with the ThinkPairShare learning approach has a positive impact on improving student performance. This is reflected in a more stable understanding of the materials presented by the teacher (the percentage of learning integrity increases from cycles 1 and 2). 64.62%; 78.70%. In Cycle 2, the learning integrity of the classic student was achieved. In particular, in the student survey on the application of the ThinkPairShare (TPS) learning method, researchers did not set specific goals for success and considered the results of the second cycle of the student survey. The statement received a very satisfying answer and was sufficient to explain how enthusiastic the students were about using the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning method.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the STAD type cooperative learning model, in conjunction with animated video content, affected the biology learning interest of SMAN 4 Maros students on plant tissue subject. This study used a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The pretest-postest control group design was used for the research. The study of this research is XI MIPA 5 as the experimental group and XI MIPA 7 as the control group. A learning interest questionnaire consisting of 20 statements is the research instrument. Statistical inferential and descriptive analysis is the method of data analysis employed. The result of descriptive analysis shows that the final average interest learning score in the experimental group is 84,37 and it is higher than the control group which was 78,97. The result of inferential analysis with the anacova test shows that there was an influence of the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model with the help of animated video media on Biology Learning Interest of Students at SMAN 4 Maros On Plant Tissue Subject.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the cooperation of parents and teachers in the form of parenting, communicating, and learning at home for preventing early childhood bullying behavior at the Al Adabiy Kindergarten in Pontianak City. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with the technique of distributing close ended questions to 105 parents of students and interviews with teachers. The analytical technique used is descriptive analysis, that is data analysis in research conducted by describing the data that has been collected through the presentation of statistical data. The results of the general calculation that all parents and teachers for preventing early childhood bullying behavior have a very good success rate category with a percentage calculation 77.85%. Cooperation in the form of parenting between parents and teachers for preventing early childhood bullying behavior with a calculation of percent to 74.05% which is classified as a success rate in the good category. Cooperation in the form of communicating between parents and teachers for preventing early childhood bullying behavior with a calculation of 79.89% percent belonging to the category of very good success rate, while cooperation in the form of learning at home between parents and teachers for preventing early childhood bullying with a percentage calculation to 78.20% which is classified as a very good success rate category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the use of videosribe media can improve student learning outcomes on energy materials. This research is a quantitative research. The experimental design used is a pre-experimental design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study amounted to 32 students who were in class VII C. Statistical analysis used is the Shapiro Wilk method to test the normality of the data. Meanwhile, to test the hypothesis using the paired sample t test and N-Gain Test. All calculations were processed using the SPSS version 25 program. Hypothesis test paired sample t test, obtained a significance value of 0.081 0.05. It can be concluded that there is no increase in student learning outcomes on energy material in learning at SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak after being given learning by applying the Videoscribe media. N-Gain test, the average value of N-gain is -8.4444. Based on the table, the N-gain score category according to Hake, R.R, 1999 is included in the ineffective category.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze reading difficulties in grade V students. the research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The subject in this study is 1 grade V student who still cannot read properly in this high class, the student has the initials AK in the high class who cannot read. The place and time chosen by the researcher is located at SDN Widorokandang. The source of data obtained comes from students and homeroom teachers. In this study researchers used observation techniques, and interviews. The results showed that the reading difficulties experienced were difficulties in distinguishing the letters of the alphabet and the sounds on the symbols, resulting in these students not being fluent in reading and still spelling. When learning takes place, the student often makes noise in class and rarely pays attention to the teacher, when given a question by the teacher the student is only silent without answering it, even if he asks, the questions asked are not related to the material currently given by the teacher

Abstract

This research aims to identify the personalities of the characters in the novel Rasa by Tere Liye. The method used in the research is a qualitative descriptive method, Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic approach. The source of the data in this study was obtained from the author of the novel Rasa, Tere Liye, and the indirect data source used was in the form of quotations that indicated the character's personality. Documentary research techniques are used in data collection techniques. The main tool of data collection is the researcher himself. The results of the analysis show that (1) the characters and characterizations in the novel, namely using two character painting techniques, namely the expository technique and the dramatic technique (2) the character's personality structure which refers to Sigmund Freud's theory, namely the aspects of the id, ego, and superego. The most prominent personality aspect of each character is the id aspect, so that it is difficult to control oneself (3) the factors underlying personality are seen based on personal aspects, namely biological factors, curiosity motives, love motives, selfesteem motives and needs. search for identity, motives, values, attitudes and emotions.
