Abstract

This study aims to examine a model of teachers' organizational commitment by conducting surveys and field observations related to the factors influencing teachers' organizational commitment. In the qualitative phase, which involved interviews and focus group discussions (FGDs) with teachers and school principals, the researcher developed a research constellation model consisting of three independent variables: psychological empowerment, authentic leadership, and interpersonal communication. The intervening variable is pedagogical competence. The research employed a mixed-methods approach, with qualitative research used to explore the variables in the field and quantitative research used to test the constructed model. The sample consisted of 160 civil servant teachers teaching at 15 public junior high schools (SMP Negeri) in region 2 of East Jakarta. The model was tested using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that the R² value was 0.927, indicating that 92.7% of the variance in teachers' organizational commitment could be explained by the variables in the model. The dominant contributions came from psychological empowerment and pedagogical competence. The Q² value was 0.621, which is greater than 0.05, suggesting that the exogenous variables X1, X2, and X3 are appropriate and relevant predictors for the endogenous construct X4. The Goodness of Fit (GoF) analysis showed an SRMR value of less than 0.08 (under 0.1), indicating that the tested model fits the data well. Additionally, the PLS Predict analysis revealed that the Q²_predict values from the PLS model were higher (8) than those from the linear model (LM), which had only 2. Therefore, it can be concluded that the model has a strong predictive power.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze internal control strategies in an effort to prevent accounting fraud in medium-scale manufacturing companies in Banten Province. Accounting fraud is a serious problem that can harm the company and reduce stakeholder trust. The method used is qualitative with data collection through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation in a number of manufacturing companies in the region. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of internal control in the company is still not optimal. The aspects of the control environment and management commitment are quite strong, but control activities such as segregation of duties and transaction authorization have not been implemented consistently. The financial information system is still manual, increasing the risk of data manipulation. In addition, internal audits experience limitations in terms of resources and independence, so that supervision is less effective. Fraud prevention strategies such as anti-fraud policies and whistleblowing reporting systems have also not been implemented evenly and are not supported by a transparent organizational culture. Therefore, companies need to strengthen internal control through digitalization of information systems, strengthening internal audits, and developing an anti-fraud culture so that the risk of accounting fraud can be minimized. This study contributes to the development of more effective internal control strategies, especially in medium-scale manufacturing companies in Indonesia.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly recognized as a transformative tool capable of fostering women’s growth and leadership across various sectors. However, disparities in access, digital literacy, and socio-cultural barriers challenge the equitable benefits of AI for women worldwide. This study aims to explore the perceptions of women regarding AI’s potential to enhance leadership opportunities and identify key obstacles hindering its inclusive use. A mixed-methods survey was conducted with women participants from diverse backgrounds, focusing on their confidence in AI’s ability to empower leadership, as well as perceived barriers to AI adoption. Quantitative data were collected through structured questionnaires, while qualitative insights were gathered via open-ended responses to provide context to the challenges faced. Results indicate that 45% of respondents strongly believe AI can improve women’s leadership opportunities, with an additional 40% agreeing contingent upon adequate support. Major barriers identified include lack of digital literacy (35%), cultural and societal restrictions (30%), and limited access to technology (25%). Notably, only 10% cited algorithmic bias as a significant concern, highlighting a potential gap in awareness. These findings emphasize the need for targeted interventions addressing digital skills training, infrastructure development, and socio-cultural norms. In conclusion, while AI holds substantial promise as an enabler of women’s empowerment, its full potential can only be realized through integrated strategies encompassing education, technology access, ethical AI design, and cultural change. Policymakers, educators, and technologists must collaborate to foster an inclusive AI ecosystem that supports sustainable gender equity and leadership development.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of employee work culture strategies through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the recruitment process in Indonesian manufacturing companies. The use of AI in the recruitment process is seen as an essential innovation to improve efficiency, objectivity, and speed of employee selection. The data for this study was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation in manufacturing companies from October to December 2024, utilising a qualitative approach. The study's findings indicate that AI has the capacity to expedite the selection process, enhance the precision of candidate selection, and positively influence the work culture of new employees by fostering increased discipline and motivation. However, there are challenges in the form of reduced social interaction that affect the cultural adaptation process. The main supporting factors are technological readiness and HR training, while employee resistance and limited data are obstacles that need to be managed strategically. The integration of AI with a humanistic work culture development strategy is recommended in this study to ensure the effective and sustainable execution of digital transformation. These findings contribute to the development of human resource management in the industrial era 4.0, especially in the context of manufacturing companies in Indonesia

Abstract

For maintaining the reliability of the production process at PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda, routine maintenance of production equipment is needed, such as the implementation of Turn Around. The implementation of Turn Around is carried out every 18 to 24 months. In Turn Around planning, critical materials must be available during the Turn Around. So that the Turn Around material procurement process must be effective and efficient. The complexity of supply chain activities of Turn Around material procurement process involving many parties and the uncertainty that occurs in very rapid dynamic changes does not rule out the possibility of risk events that have negative impacts in the short term and long term. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct research that aims to obtain risk events, risk agents and mitigation action formulations. The method used in the study is the House of Risk (HOR) to obtain risk events, risk agents and design mitigation action formulations for priority risk agents based on the Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP) value that can suppress the emergence of risk agents. The results of the study obtained 32 risk events and 21 risk agents. Priority risk agents based on the highest ARP value of 10 risk agents that have an impact of 80.78% of the occurrence of risk events. There are 9 risk mitigation actions that can suppress the emergence of risk agents in the supply chain of the Turn Around material procurement process.
