Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya memahami variasi bahasa yang merupakan wujud pemakaian bahasa yang berbeda oleh penutur karena faktor-faktor tertentu yang bukan hanya dari penuturnya yang tidak homogen tetapi karna interaksi yang sangat beragam. Masalah yang akan dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah “Variasi Bahasa Apa Saja yang digunakan Siswa di Lingkungan SD Negeri 1 Silea, Kecamatan Wundulako, Kabupaten Kolaka” berdasarkan variasi bahasa dari segi keformalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan variasi bahasa siswa di lingkungan SD Negeri 1 Silea, kecamatan Wundulako, Kabupaten Kolaka. Manfaat yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini dibedakan menjadi dua, yaitu manfaat teoritis dan manfaat praktis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian pada Variasi Bahasa Siswa di Lingkungan SD Negeri 1 Silea, kecamatan Wundulako, Kabupaten Kolaka berdasarkan dari segi keformalan ditemukan hanya 4 ragam yaitu, (1) ragam resmi terdapat 14 data, (2) ragam usaha terdapat 14 data, (3) ragam santai terdapat 20 data, dan (4) ragam akrab terdapat 20 data. Kata Kunci: Sosiolinguistik, Variasi Bahasa

Abstract

Gamification, which refers to the use of game elements and mechanics in non-gaming contexts, has become an interesting research topic in education. The researcher presents a literature review on the use of gamification in education with the aim of investigating the impacts, benefits, challenges, and trends associated with the application of gamification in an educational context. This literature review identifies several significant advantages of implementing gamification in education. Recent trends in the literature review on gamification in education include the use of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and augmented reality. In addition, research has also shown that the integration of gamification with traditional curricula can improve understanding and retention of subject matter. In order to maximize the benefits of gamification in education, this literature review recommends the importance of developing solid pedagogy, collaboration between teachers and game designers, and student participation in the gamification design process. More research is needed to understand more deeply the long-term effects of using gamification in education as well as the best strategies to address the challenges associated with its implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an information technology-based English curriculum in response to the increasing demand for language learning in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative research method, which involves acknowledging the literature and opinions of experts in the fields of language teaching and technology integration. The findings of this study reveal that the development of an information technology-based English curriculum can improve students' language learning outcomes by providing interesting and interactive learning materials and activities. In addition, this study also found that the incorporation of technology in language teaching can increase learner autonomy, collaborative learning, and authentic use of language.

Abstract

This article discusses the Influence of Pedagogic Competence on Student Learning Motivation, namely where an ability to understand the characteristics of students, in mastering theories, models and learning methods, learning principles, design, implementation of learning, evaluating learning outcomes and following up on them. As well as the ability to develop students to actualize the various potentials they have. Learning Motivation to encourage, stimulate, or move someone to perform an action or activity with the aim of achieving the desired learning outcomes. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis approach through library research which is a review of concepts and content (content analysis). The results of this study are that teacher's Pedagogic Competence in managing learning needs attention. A teacher's competence will be maximized and the learning process will run smoothly if supported by learning facilities in teaching and learning activities. and will affect the High and Low Student Learning Motivation.

Abstract

In the last few decades, Indonesia's birth rate has been declining, raising concerns about an unattainable demographic dividend. This decline in birth rates is partly due to the decision of several muslim couples who choose not to have children or what is known as childfree. The purpose of this research is to discuss the child-free phenomenon among muslim communities in Indonesia and its implications for the sustainability of muslims in Indonesia. The method used in this research is a qualitative method that emphasizes literature study. The results of this study present an overview of society's view of the childfree phenomenon based on stigma and social pressure which generally assumes that the choice not to have children cannot be normalized. The conclusions obtained from this research are that the childfree phenomenon is still common in Indonesia, these differences in views are generally influenced by religious and demographic factors which have concerns about the reduced number of generations of Muslims in Indonesia. Recommendations that need to be considered are conducting further research, because the childfree phenomenon is still relatively new in Indonesia, and further research is still needed to understand the perspective of society as a whole.

Abstract

This research entitles the analysis of communicative translation at the opening speech of the KTT G-20 Bali Summit by President Jokowi: We must end the war”. The use of communicative language in translating text using the communicative translation method. Communicative language is used so that readers or listeners can take meaning from the contents of the text in accordance with the meaning that has been written by the author. This communicative language is always successful if it is used in the same language as the target language. However, it will be very much different. If the contents of the text use a different language. Then the translator must be able to translate the contents into the text in the target language. This is a little difficult to implement because translators still find it difficult to distinguish between free translation and communicative translation. Therefore, the translator must first analyze the text whether it is in accordance with the linguistic aspects or its content so that it can be accepted and understood by the reader. In this case, this research is based on the translation carried out in the speech of Opening Speech KTT G20 Bali Summit by President Jokowi: We Must End the War. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted to describe and find out what form of communicative language that used in speech text. It also aims to compare the meaning of the original speech text with the translated text, whether the meaning of the two texts remains the same or changes. In addition, it is a source for readers to know how to analyze communicative translation.

Abstract

Learning media is something that acts as an intermediary between the provider of information (teachers) to the recipients of information (students) with the aim of providing a stimulus to students so that they are motivated and can follow the learning process as a whole and meaningfully. Flipbook media is a combination of text, animation, sound, video, and so on. Flipbook in accordance with current curriculum developments. This is due to the emphasis on science lessons on modern pedagogic dimensions in learning. This study aims to describe the use of flipbooks in science learning using the PBL model with the SETS approach. This type of research includes qualitative descriptive research. The use of appropriate learning media, models and approaches can optimize students' understanding in learning. The research results of learning objectives can be achieved because it is supported by the use of learning media. In order for learning to run effectively and efficiently, the selection of learning media must be arranged appropriately and in accordance with the needs of students so that learning objectives can be achieved.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan proporsi saat berbicara yang dilakukan antara guru dan siswa saat interaksi di dalam kelas di PKBM Nurain Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Juga untuk mengetahui karakteristik pembicaraan guru dalam interaksi kelas di PKBM Nurain Kabupaten Bone Bolango, dan untuk menelusuri jenis-jenis interaksi guru di dalam kelas bahasa Inggris di PKBM Nurain. Penelitian ini dirancang sebagai penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Dalam penelitian, peneliti menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi untuk memperoleh data. Instrumen yang digunakan peneliti untuk memperoleh data adalah lembar observasi langsung. Metode penelitian ini ditujukan kepada Sinclair dan Coutlard sebagai instrumen observasi untuk menganalisis interaksi kelas yang telah dipecah menjadi pembicaraan guru, pembicaraan siswa, dan keheningan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jenis tampilan elisitasi mendominasi interaksi kelas, diikuti oleh referensial dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di PKBM Nurain. Secara garis besar alasannya adalah guru lebih banyak mengajukan pertanyaan yang jawabannya sudah disiapkan sebelumnya oleh guru. Guru telah menguasai materi dan topik pembelajaran, kemudian guru mengadakan sesi tanya jawab dengan siswa menggunakan sumber materi pelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find the myth, form, and content contained in the folklore of Nyai Sabirah in Bakaran Wetan Village, Juwana Sub-district, Pati Regency, Central Java. The reason for this research is that researchers are interested in myths, customs and traditions in Bakaran Wetan Village. The theory used is Alan's theory where an activity that builds the structure of the Nyai Sabirah story. The research method is descriptive qualitative research, which is located in Bakaran Wetan Village. The data collection technique uses interviews, analysis, direct observation, recording, and recording. Data analysis techniques used with interactive analysis techniques. Then to test the validity of the data using source triangulation. The conclusion of this research is that people in Bakaran Wetan Village still believe in the origin of Nyai Sabirah Folklore. In the folklore of Nyai Sabirah has religious values including faith, love of peace, self-confidence, and firm stance. Although the community believes in the folklore of Nyai Sabirah, the community does not associate God Almighty.

Abstract

The mind mapping learning model is a creative note-taking technique using diverse images, symbols, shapes, colors that can help students remember, plan things, help be more creative in solving problems, and focus attention. Mind mapping can be described as a map that uses memory, allowing us to structure facts and ideas in such a way that the natural workings of our brain will be involved from the beginning so that remembering information will be easier and more reliable than using ordinary notes. The mind mapping learning model also plays an important role in helping students understand and master concepts. This system can develop all the potentials, capacities, and abilities of the human brain thus ensuring a higher level of creativity and thinking ability. This study aims to determine the role of mind mapping in improving systematic thinking in students at SMP Islam Hegarmanah. Data collection is carried out through the results of learning activities with the mind mapping method. The results showed that Mind Mapping can play an important role in improving systematic thinking skills in students.
