Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of pedagogic competencies in teaching and learning activities, the obstacles faced by educators in teaching and learning activities and the efforts made by educators to deal with these obstacles. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Qualitative research by exploring how the pedagogical competence of English teachers improves the quality of learning at MAN 3 Tasikmalaya. This study went through a research process in the form of reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and triangulation. The results of the study revealed that the educators had not fully mastered the characteristics of students both in terms of intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual and moral. They are also not optimal in terms of group discussions and the use of educational media, but in the areas of academic potential analysis, effective learning and lesson planning the teacher have done well. Obstacles were also described in this study such as the lack of facilities and infrastructure that support the process of teaching and learning activities, the lack of reference book sources provided by the government, the lack of training or training held, the lack of motivation of students in learning English activities, especially in vocabulary and the understanding of educators is still low on the mastery of information technology that can support learning activities. This study also reveals efforts to overcome obstacles such as trying to maximize existing facilities and infrastructure, looking for other learning resources to add references to learning materials, trying to attend seminars or workshops organized by non-government, trying to motivate students to be more enthusiastic about participating English learning activities and continue learning to upgrade yourself to improve skills in information technology to support English learning activities. Although this research is quite detailed, qualitative research does not reach many parties due to the limited number of respondents.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how project-based learning strategies as an alternative create creative students. This research uses qualitative research methods using the type of study literature research. Where study literature is a type of research by answering existing problems by reviewing appropriate literature so that solutions to these problems can be given. The result of this research is the Project Based Learning learning model is an innovative learning model that involves project work where students work independently in constructing their learning and making it into real products. Project work contains complex tasks based on questions and problems that are very challenging and guides students to design, solve problems, make decisions, conduct investigative activities, and provide opportunities for students to work independently. PBL (Project Based Learning) learning strategy has a characteristic that the teacher poses problems that must be solved by students, which then students must design processes and frameworks to make solutions to these problems. Students must work together to find information and evaluate the results of their work so that the problem can be solved, so that students can produce products from the background of the problem. Thus, project-based learning strategies can be used as an alternative to creating creative students.

Abstract

The success of any particular educational process is influenced by many different components, but the use of educational media is one of them. Learning through media is an interactive process that serves as a communication hub, making the learning that occurs as a result beneficial to students. One example is the use of Pop-Up Books in PPK instruction in Elementary Schools. The purpose of this study is to understand whether Pop up books exist or not to improve student learning outcomes. The method uses the (SLR) method for data analysis Data from a journal article that has been indexed by Google Scholar and additional research shows that there are 6 articles that discuss PPKN's PPKN Pop Up Book Media in Elementary Schools Learning Based on the analysis, we can conclude that using books Pop-up books have a positive impact on learning outcomes of Civics in public schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of school organizational cooperation in improving the quality of education at MTs YLPI Ibaadurrahman. School organizational cooperation has a significant role in creating a quality and competitive educational environment. Through close cooperation between all relevant parties, including school leaders, teachers, students and parents, various initiatives and programs can be implemented effectively. This research uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through interviews, observations, and document analysis related to school organizational cooperation at MTs YLPI Ibaadurrahman. The collected data were analyzed thematically to identify the role and impact of school organizational cooperation on the quality of education. The results showed that school organizational cooperation at MTs YLPI Ibaadurrahman has an important role in improving the quality of education. Through synergistic cooperation, school organizations can carry out various activities, such as curriculum development, teacher training, student coaching, and procurement of adequate educational resources. This cooperation also includes collaboration with parents in supporting home learning and optimizing their role as educational partners. In the context of MTs YLPI Ibaadurrahman, the cooperation of school organizations has had a positive impact on the quality of education. This can be seen from the increase in student academic achievement, increased student participation in extracurricular activities, and increased parental satisfaction with the learning process. In addition, this collaboration also contributes to creating an inclusive, harmonious and supportive school climate. In conclusion, school organizational cooperation has an important role in improving the quality of education at MTs YLPI Ibaadurrahman. With close cooperation between school leaders, teachers, students and parents, various programs and initiatives can be carried out effectively, thus creating a quality and competitive educational environment. It is recommended that this collaboration continue to be improved and implemented on an ongoing basis to optimize the quality of education and produce quality graduates.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the literacy of the Development of Economic Literacy Test Instruments Based on Factor Analysis with the Meta-Analysis Technique. The research methodology uses a systematic literature review on the development of an economic literacy test instrument based on factor analysis and its impact on students' critical thinking skills. PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) and Bibliometric analysis have been applied to answer research questions. The PRISMA method was used to shortlist and select the 2007-2021 works from Scopus and Google Scholar with explicit inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research results show that research results from 2007 to 2021 experienced a significant increase, especially in 2014 with a total of 4 journal publications. Conclusion regarding the development of economic literacy test instruments dominated by journal articles as much as 80% and seminars as much as 20%. The keywords regarding the development of economic literacy test instruments that are most often used by searchers are development, financial literacy, and validation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan hasil analisa politik kebijakan terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam. Berdasarkan hasil telaahan penelitian didapatkan kesimpulan belum adanya dukungan politik terhadap kebijakan kesejahteraan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam. Realitas yang ada di lapangan kesejahteraan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam masih jauh dari tingkat sejahtera. Guru yang berstatus honorer masih tinggi serta kuota sertifikasi dan pengangkatan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam status PPPK yang minim dan jauh dibawah target yang diperlukan. Pngelolaan yang simpang siur dan menimbulkan ego sektoral menjadi salah satu penghambat guru tidak dapat diakomodir dalam pngangkatan satu juta guru PPPK. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode ex post facto untuk mendapatkan penyebab dari realitas rendahnya tingkat kesejahteraan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dan kaitannya dengan politik kebijakan. Hasil penelitian ini mendapati realitas bahwa terdapat hubungan antara variabel independen (Politik Kebijakan) dengan variabel dependen (kesejahteraan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam). Hasil penelitian menunjukan kurangnya dukungan politik kebijakan terhadap guru Pendidikan Agama Islam menyebabkan masih rrendahnya tingkat kesejahteraan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan upaya meningkatkan minat membaca siswa kelas II dengan media magiz puzzle dan hasil penggunaan media magiz puzzle suku kata dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca. Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Sampel penelitian diambil kelas II A berjumlah 25 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian ditemukan bahwa penggunaan media puzzle suku kata dapat meningkatkan minat baca pada peserta didik Siswa kelas IV di SDN 27 Woja Dompu. Hasil dari pembelajaran siklus I mencapai 62% dan hasil dari siklus II mencapai 79%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terjadi peningkatan secara signifikan disetiap tindakan yang telah dilakukan. Peningkatan minat membaca peserta didik telah sesuai dengan kriteria keberhasilan yang diinginkan dalam penelitian.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the challenges faced in implementing the Pancasila and Civics Education (PPKn) learning model in the Merdeka Curriculum at SMP Negeri 27 Medan. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. The location of this research is SMP Negeri 27 Medan because this school has adopted the Merdeka Curriculum with a focus on Civics. Data were collected through interviews with Civics teachers, and document analysis related to the curriculum and learning models applied. The results showed several challenges faced in implementing the Civics learning model, including, among others, teachers being required to be more creative to maximize learning design to make it more interesting and so that students do not feel bored and students' resistance to changes in learning approaches. This research provides in-depth insight into the practical and conceptual challenges that need to be overcome to improve the effectiveness of the Civics learning model in the Merdeka Curriculum. The implications of these findings can be used as a basis for developing better educational policies and implementing more effective strategies in facilitating Civics learning at the junior high school level.

Abstract

Citizenship Education (PKn) has an important role in forming national character. This research aims to identify the influence of Citizenship Education learning on improving the character of Citizenship Education Program (PPKN) students at Medan State University (UNIMED). The research method used is quantitative analysis using a questionnaire to collect data from UNIMED PPKN students. The results of the research show that learning Citizenship Education has a significant positive influence on improving student character. These findings provide an important contribution in strengthening the role of Citizenship Education in shaping student character, as well as providing a basis for developing more effective learning strategies in the future. It is hoped that this research can provide useful insights for curriculum development and learning of Citizenship Education in higher education environments.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the obstacles or difficulties faced by teachers in teaching mathematics in class V of the state elementary school 060967 Medan Belawan. The type of research used is qualitative research. Researchers collected information by first conducting interviews with research subjects, namely two teachers at SDN.060967 Medan Belawan. Then, after obtaining information regarding the topic of the problem that they want to research, the researcher strengthens the information they find with a literature review. A literature review is a review of books, notes and various reports related to the problem that you want to solve. The obstacles faced in Mathematics learning carried out at SDN.060967 Medan Belawan are how to create learning that increases students' enthusiasm for learning and how to ensure that children do not feel pressured when studying. Students also do not receive full attention from their parents so that learning/tasks are difficult. Given by the teacher was not done well, making the learning tools and how to use the learning tools, the teacher had difficulty connecting the RPP created with the learning media that would be used in class.
