The majority of college students are in the phase of emerging adulthood of human development. In this transition period, the students are susceptible to experiencing psychological instability due to many changes in their lives. Nursing students are presumed to be at risk of high-stress levels because of the high demands, expectations and activities during their study. Therefore, some students struggle to adapt to their college life and choose to avoid their responsibilities or make some dangerous decisions (self-harm behavior) as it is believed to be a form of coping mechanism to release their stress. This study used a cross sectional approach with the aim of finding the prevalence of self-harm behavior among nursing students. This study involved 236 students from Faculty of Nursing, University of Indonesia with probability proportionate sampling technique. The instrument used is the modified Indonesian version of Self-Harm Behavior Questionnaire (SHBQ). The results showed that nursing students engaged in self-harm behavior, including self-harm (34.3%), suicide attempted (8.1%), suicide threat (7.2%), and suicide ideation (30.5%). The existence of prevalence of self-harm behavior among nursing students is needed to improve prevention and treatment at the university level.

The increasing incidence of complicated diseases in Bali could indicate that diabetes self-care is not optimal. Diabetes mellitus, also abbreviated as DM, is a non-communicable disease whose number of sufferers is increasing. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of audiovisual-based DSME on knowledge and skills of self-care for type 2 diabetes. The design of this study was quasi-experimental design with control group. The sample of the research were 76 respondents who were selected through purposive sampling technique, and then they were divided into two groups, namely the control group (38 respondents) and the intervention group of 38 respondents. Audiovisual-based DSME was given for 5 sessions, which was held 1 week per 1 session. Statistical results showed that there was a significant effect of audiovisual-based DSME on knowledge and skills of self-care for type 2 diabetes (p-value <0.05 for both knowledge and skills). This intervention can be used as an innovation in providing education for diabetes in improving self-care behavior and reducing the risk of complications in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Diarrhea is an endemic disease that has the potential to cause Extraordinary Events (Kejadian Luar Biasa/KLB) and is still a contributor to mortality in Indonesia, especially in toddlers. The common management of diarrhea is using oral rehydration therapy (ORS) to prevent dehydration. Moreover, honey could be useful also in handling diarrhea since it has anti-bacterial elements in it. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving honey in children with diarrhea. The method used was literature review. There were 9 research articles obtained, and they revealed that there is an effect of giving honey to children who have diarrhea. This effect was proven by a greater decrease in the degree of dehydration in children who were given honey and standard therapy, the frequency of bowel movements in children who were given honey, as well as the stool consistency which was getting better. Healing time for children with diarrhea who were given honey and standard therapy was faster than children who only received standard therapy.

The development of a child is a fundamental part of human development; this emphasizes the architecture of a person's brain formed at the beginning of life, which comes from genetic and environmental influences. There are two important factors that influence a child's development, namely genetic factor and environmental stimulation factor. Stimulation has an important role in the growth and development of children because the child's brain develops very quickly when it is stimulated. The main task of a family that determines the child's ability is on the task of family in every stage of family development. This study aims to determine the correlation between knowledge of family development tasks and the application of developmental stimulation in preschool-aged children. The research design used was quantitative research with a correlational descriptive method and a cross sectional study approach. The data obtained from 242 respondens and then analyzed using bivariate analysis (chi-square test). After analyzing the data, the results showed that the value of p=0.000 (<α 0.05). Hence, there is a significant correlation between knowledge of family development tasks and the application of developmental stimulation in pre-school-aged children. Families who have good knowledge of family development tasks have the ability to perform developmental stimulation 22.6 times greater than families who have less knowledge. Family knowledge about good family development tasks will have an impact on meeting children's needs. The children who get good stimulation could have a better impact on their development. The result of this study is expected to be the basis for Community Nurses who work in primary health services to be able to carry out promotive and preventive efforts with a family approach.
