Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) dengan media cerita bergambar terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pesawat sederhana. LKS dalam bentuk cerita bergambar dipilih karena cerita bergambar merupakan salah satu media visual yang populer dan mampu mengembangkan daya imajinasi siswa. Siswa dapat mempelajari percobaan-percobaan sederhana dari tokoh di dalam cerita bergambar kemudian mempraktikkannya sendiri secara langsung. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pembelajaran siswa di sekolah menjadi lebih bermakna. Populasi penelitian terdistribusi normal adalah 191 siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 12 Surabaya dan sampel yang homogen diambil dari populasi sejumlah 35 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasi regresi sederhana. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan LKS dengan media cerita bergambar berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dengan persentase pengaruhnya tergolong kuat yaitu sebesar 52,9%. Penerapan LKS dengan media cerita bergambar juga berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan persentase pengaruh yang tergolong kuat pula yaitu sebesar 67,7%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh model pembelajaran konsep dengan mengintegrasikan teknik skimming terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada sub materi pokok perpindahan kalor. Pada penelitian ini, skimming yang merupakan teknik membaca cepat berperan dalam meningkatkan kesiapan siswa untuk belajar sehingga siswa dapat berperan aktif dalam pembelajaran dan dengan pembelajaran konsep siswa dapat mengeluarkan pendapat mengenai konsep yang telah mereka temukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari (contoh dan non contohnya) sehingga siswa lebih mudah untuk menerima dan memahami konsep yang diajarkan serta bersikap lebih kritis. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 18 Surabaya dan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah true experiment design. Berdasarkan analisis aspek kognitif siswa menggunakan uji-t dua pihak dan uji-t satu pihak diperoleh hasil bahwa prestasi belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan dengan prestasi belajar siswa di kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis juga menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran konsep dengan mengintegrasikan teknik skimming yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini berjalan dengan baik, hal ini didapat dari pengamatan. Respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran konsep dengan mengintegrasikan teknik skimming secara umum baik, hal ini ditunjukkan pada respons siswa tertinggi terdapat pada aspek kelima dan keenam yaitu siswa lebih termotivasi untuk belajar dan lebih berani menyampaikan pendapat persentase sebesar 85,87% dan tergolong baik sekali.

Abstract

There is a lot of research related to the development of learning media that utilizes technological advances, one of which is 3D animation-based learning media. However, it is different from the TITANICS learning media. This is because the TITANICS learning media developed is able to train students' cognitive thinking levels from level C1 (remembering) to C4 (analyzing) by utilizing 3D animation in the form of a combination of video and interactive PPT (PowerPoint). This research focuses on analyzing the validity of the TITANICS learning media which has been developed using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) development research model. Media validation is carried out by three validators who are expert lecturers in the field of learning media. Media validity is reviewed from four aspects, namely media appearance, language used, suitability and media operation. The research results showed that the validity scores obtained in these four aspects were 91.66%, 91.66%, 90.27% and 89.58%. Thus the average validation score percentage obtained for TITANICS learning media was 90.79% in the very valid category. So, it can be stated that the TITANICS learning media is suitable for use as a learning media to train students' cognitive thinking levels from level C1 (remembering) to C4 (analyzing) in learning physics on thermodynamics material. Abstract

Literacy skills include the ability to utilize various sources to understand information or ideas through listening, reading, and viewing activities, as well as conveying ideas using various media in oral or written form, according to the context. This study aims to improve the quality of education in schools and develop students' soft skills to be better prepared to face the world of work. Through this program, students are able to improve their teaching skills and help improve literacy and numeracy skills. Data acquisition techniques were obtained descriptively quantitatively through interview techniques and a humanistic approach to the Mardi Siwi community in the form of implementing several learning media related to several subjects at the junior high school level. Overall, these data show that most students made positive progress in both Numeracy and Literacy. However, there were also some participants who showed variation in results, with some experiencing significant improvements, while others experienced declines or stability in final results. This shows the importance of adjusting learning strategies to meet the individual needs of students and ensure consistent improvement in all aspects of learning. The total increase in Numeracy was around 56.36%, while the total increase in Literacy was around 36.36%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to differentiate learning motivation and numeracy literacy skills of high school students in grade XI by combining guided inquiry with the CTL approach assisted by Liveworksheets with classes without Liveworksheets. The type of research conducted was quantitative research with a Control group pretest-posttest design. The conclusions of this study include the application of learning, student learning motivation, and numeracy literacy skills. This study was designed as a quasi-experiment, with a control group tested before and after. The subjects of this study were students in grades XI-6 and XI-7 at MAN 2 Gresik, with class XI-6 as the experimental class and class XI-7 as the control class, which were selected using a purposive sampling approach. The research tools used included a numeracy literacy ability test sheet and a questionnaire about student learning motivation. The data collected were examined descriptively and quantitatively. The CTL approach significantly improved students' motivation and numeracy literacy skills (α = 5%). The results of the two-tailed t-test provide the conclusion that H0 is rejected and the results of the one-tailed t-test conducted produce the conclusion that H0 is rejected. This shows how the increase in learning motivation and numeracy literacy in classes with guided inquiry with the CTL approach assisted by Liveworksheets is better than classes without Liveworksheets. Abstract

Abstract Indonesia's scientific literacy has not experienced a significant increase. Students' PISA scientific literacy scores ranged from 393 to 396 in 2000 to 2018. This is because the level of difficulty of the questions designed by teachers is not as difficult as the PISA questions and their indicators. The aim of this research is to analyze the profile of scientific literacy abilities in the PISA model which is integrated with earthquake and tsunami disaster mitigation. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. The research was conducted at a private high school in northern Surabaya on 30th October 2024. The population used in this research were 2 classes, namely XII-1 and XII-2, totaling 61 students. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The results show that the profile of scientific literacy abilities of 61 students has the criteria of 0% very high, 10% high, 24% sufficient, 10% low, and 56% very low. The average score for competence in explaining phenomena scientifically is 55, evaluating and designing scientific methods is 33, and interpreting data and evidence scientifically respectively is 39. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that students' scientific literacy profiles are very low. Abstract

Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong perlunya inovasi dalam media pembelajaran yang mampu melatihkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS). Fisika sebagai salah satu mata pelajaran sains seringkali dianggap sulit karena membutuhkan pemahaman konsep yang mendalam dan analitis. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif seperti Edibook pada materi listrik statis menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Edibook (Electrostatics Digital Book) berbasis digital pada materi listrik statis guna melatihkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan model DDD-E yang mencakup empat tahapan: Decide, Design, Develop, dan Evaluate. Validitas media diuji dari aspek media, materi, dan bahasa dengan hasil rata-rata sebesar 93% yang dikategorikan sangat valid. Kepraktisan media diperoleh melalui angket respon siswa dan observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, yang menunjukkan persentase rata-rata sebesar 91% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Efektivitas media diukur melalui hasil pretest dan posttest, serta analisis N-Gain yang menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar pada sebagian besar siswa, dengan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,52 yang berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Edibook efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep listrik statis sekaligus melatihkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik. Dengan demikian, media Edibook layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika yang valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam mendukung pengembangan HOTS siswa. Abstract The development of digital technology highlights the need for innovative learning media that can train students' higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). Physics, as one of the science subjects, is often seen as difficult because it requires deep and analytical understanding. Therefore, developing an interactive learning media such as Edibook for the topic of electrostatics offers a solution to improve learning quality and students’ high order thinking skills. This study aims to develop a digital-based learning media called Edibook (Electrostatics Digital Book) on the topic of electrostatics to support the development of HOTS among students. The method used is research and development (R&D) with the DDD-E model, which includes four stages: Decide, Design, Develop, and Evaluate. The validity of the media was tested in terms of media design, content, and language, with an average score of 93%, categorized as very valid. The practicality of the media was measured through student responses and teacher observations, showing an average score of 91%, which is considered very practical. The effectiveness was measured using pretest and posttest results and N-Gain analysis, which indicated that most students showed learning improvement with score 0,52 in the medium to high category. These results show that Edibook can improve students’ understanding of electrostatics and support the development of high order thinking skills. Thus, Edibook is a valid, practical, and effective learning media for teaching physics and enhancing HOTS.

Abstract

Global warming has a significant impact on the environment, with the earth's temperature continuing to rise due to human activities that produce carbon emissions, such as burning fossil fuels and deforestation. Sustainable education (ESD) is key in addressing this issue, through the implementation of curriculum and learning methods based on sustainability values. This research aims to develop physics learning tools in the form of E-Worksheet digital map-based to support students' understanding of the issue of global warming. The utilization of technology in E-Worksheet allows flexible access, real-time, and environmentally friendly, in line with ESD principles. This research uses the ADDIE model R&D design which is focused until the Develop stage to develop ESD-based Physics E-Worksheet learning media on global warming and climate change material. Qualitative data was obtained from the responses of validators and students, while quantitative data came from the Likert scale results in the validation and readability tests. The product validity results showed an average of 85% (valid with minor revisions), while the readability test obtained an average of 88.98% (very good). This media is declared suitable for use in learning because it is practical, supports sustainability education, and increases students' knowledge and awareness of environmental issues. The limitation of the research lies in the focus on the development stage, so further research is needed to test the effectiveness and implementation of the product.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penelitian-penelitian yang mewakili tren penelitian dan karakteristik serangkaian publikasi terkait Augmented Reality dalam pembelajaran fisika untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi sains pada beberapa tahun terakhir ini. Data penelitian menggunakan kata kunci "Augmented Reality, Scientific Literacy, and Physics " yang ditemukan melalui aplikasi Publish or Perish (PoP) menggunakan database Google Scholar. Kata kunci ini berasal dari jurnal dengan rentang tahun penelitian mulai dari tahun 2019 hingga 2024. Adapun subjek penelitiannya yaitu 175 artikel dari jurnal-jurnal yang bereputasi. Metode analisis bibliometrik digunakan untuk memahami tren penelitian ini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penelitian tentang Augmented Reality dalam pembelajaran fisika untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi sains semakin meningkat dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk menemukan peluang baru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality yang dapat membantu peserta didik memahami konsep dengan lebih baik, meningkatkan keterampilan proses, dan mempersiapkan mereka menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat efektivitas e-book berbasis Science, Environment, Technology, and Society (SETS) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi Fisika Fluida Statis. Penelitian dengan jenis penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan desain pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluate). Pada tahap Implementasi ini menggunakan penelitian pra-eksperimental. desain pretest-posttest satu kelompok. Pengumpulan data menggunakan purposive sampling di salah satu Sekolah Menegah Atas Negeri di Kota Surabaya kelas XI sebanyak 37 peserta didik sebagai sampel data. efektivitas e-book berbasis SETS memperoleh skor 94,59 % masuk dalam kategori efektif. E-book berbasis berbasis pada materi fluida statistic dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan peningkatan N-gain <g> kategori rendah sejumlah 2 siswa, kategori sedang sejumlah 23 siswa, dan kategori tinggi sejumlah 12 siswa.
