Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi melalui model multiliterasi pada siswa kelas X madrasah Aliyah dengan sampel 30 siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes essai. Dari pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi siswa kelas X MAS Miftahussalam Medan sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran multiliterasi masuk dalam kategori cukup dengan nilai rata-rata = 63,63 standar deviasi = 4,94 sedangkan keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi siswa kelas X MAS Miftahussalam Medan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran multiliterasi masuk ke dalam kategori baik dengan rata-rata = 74,33, standar devisasi 5,96. Dari uji data hasil kelas pretest dan posttest didapat kedua hasil berdistribusi normal. Dari uji homogenitas di dapat bahwa sampel penelitian ini berasal dari populasi yang homogen. Setelah uji normalitas dan homogenitas, di dapatlah to sebesar 7,53. Selanjutnya to diketahui, kemudian dikonsultasikan dengan tabel t pada taraf signifikasi 5% dengan df=N-1=30-1=29 dari df =30 diperoleh taraf signifikasi 5%=2,04. Karena T hitung yang diperoleh lebih besar dari tabel yaitu 7,53 > 2,04, hipotesis diterima. Dengan demikian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa adanya Peningkatan yang signifikan atas penggunaan model pembelajaran multiliterasi terhadap kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi siswa kelas X Mas Miftahussalam Medan.

Abstract

Pola blended learning ini tentunya masih menjadi hal yang baru terlebih lagi perubahan dalam dunia Pendidikan yang mulanya dilakukan secara normal. Kini harus secara blended learning, pola pembelajaran tersebut merupakan pola secara online dan offline. Blended learning merupakan gabungan pembelajaran yang dicampur oleh dua unsur utama, yakni pembelajaran di kelas (classroom lesson) dengan online learning. Blended learning adalah kombinasi karakteristik pembelajaran tradisional dan lingkungan pembelajaran elektronik. Blended learning menggabungkan aspek pembelajaran berbasis web (internet) dengan pembelajaran tradisional “tatap muka”. Pola pengajaran ini memanfaatkan kemajuan dalam bidang digitalisasi, beberapa sekolah telah memanfaatkan kemajuan dibidang digital dimana sekolah telah memiliki website belajar secara online sendiri. Baik yang diberikan oleh kementerian terkait maupun memanfaatkan media digital lainnya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan sampel berjumlah 62 orang siswa SMA Negeri 1 Hamparan Perak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan uji statistik ditetapkan kesimpulan sebagai bahwa, kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi memperoleh mean 80,27 termasuk dalam kategori baik sekali dengan pola belajar blended learning. Berdasarkan penghitungan dengan uji “t” diperoleh nilai thitung = 5,65 kemudian dikonsultasikan dengan tabel t pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan dkn= N1+N2 – 2 = 60 ternyata thitung yang diperoleh lebih besar dari ttabel yaitu 5,65 > 1,99 sehingga hipotesis alternatif diterima.

Abstract

Understanding concepts is one of the goals of mathematics learning. Understanding mathematical concepts is not just knowing a concept, but being able to re-express the concepts studied in a form that is easier to understand and being able to apply them in problem solving. Students' ability to understand mathematical concepts will be formed systematically if students can construct their mathematical knowledge and connect it to contextual problems. One effort that can be made to improve students’ ability to understand mathematical concepts is to apply the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. This research aims to determine the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. This research is a quasi-experimental research. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Pangkalan Susu. The sample selection technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique. The population of this study were all class VII students. The samples in this study were 2 classes, namely class VII-4 which was used as the experimental class and class VII-5 which was used as the control class. The results of this research show that there is an influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether problem-based learning is effectively used to increase students' mathematics learning self-efficacy. This research was carried out in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year with a total of 24 students. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis. The instrument in this research used a questionnaire. The students' mathematics learning self-efficacy questionnaire consisted of 35 questions consisting of positive questions and negative questions, using a Likert scale. In trial I the average result of the students' mathematics learning self-efficacy questionnaire was at a percentage of 74.96%, then in trial II the results of the students' mathematics learning self-efficacy questionnaire increased with an overall average score of 86.47%. Based on the results of trial I and trial II, students' self-efficacy in learning mathematics using problem-based learning increased by 11.51%. Thus, it can be concluded that problem-based learning is effectively used to increase students' mathematics learning self-efficacy.

Abstract

Students' soft skills are an important thing to have before they complete their studies. This ability cannot be obtained from activities on campus, but can be increasingly discovered when they start doing activities outside the institution. Currently, the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka, one of which is a teaching campus, has a positive impact on students in improving hard skills and soft skills. The aim of this research is to analyze the differences in students' soft skills before and after being given group guidance. Quantitative research method with a one group pre-post ne group pre-post-test design approach. The sample obtained was 50 students who are currently involved in Kampus Mengajar activities. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling, with the research instrument in the form of a soft skills questionnaire covering 5 important points of communication skills, critical thinking, teamwork, ethics and morals and leadership abilities. Analysis uses compare mean. The result was that 5 aspects of soft skills had increased before and after being given group guidance, the results were statistically significant with a p value <0.05. The conclusion is that there are differences in the soft skills possessed by teaching campus students when given group guidance.

Abstract

This article is a literature review which aims to provide a study of learning strategies that can be used to improve students' mathematical literacy skills in Indonesia which are still low. In this article, we discuss the factors that cause low mathematical literacy, such as personal factors, instructional factors, and environmental factors and indicators that are used as a reference for the level of mathematical literacy abilities possessed by students. This article also discusses the strategies that have been used by researchers in the research they conducted and stated that they were successful in improving students' mathematical literacy skills with the strategies and use of the learning models they used. So it can be concluded that students' low mathematical literacy skills can be overcome and improved through the use of learning strategies such as learning strategies using the Problem Based Instruction model, learning strategies using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and the SQ4R Strategy as well as other strategies that are appropriate and appropriate to the environment. learning around.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy entails the knowledge and skills to utilize various numbers and symbols associated with basic mathematics to solve problems in everyday life and analyze information presented in different symbols, subsequently using the results of this analysis to make decisions. In 2018, based on the PISA results released by the OECD, Indonesia's numeracy literacy level was ranked 74th out of 79 countries, indicating that Indonesia's numeracy literacy level is still very low. This study aims to determine and describe the numeracy literacy skills of eleventh-grade students in solving numeracy literacy problems on derivative material at SMA N 1 Sedayu in the academic year 2023/2024. The subjects in this study were 22 eleventh-grade students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used were numeracy literacy ability tests and interviews. The numeracy literacy indicator in this research consists of 3 components, namely: (1) identifying and explaining mathematical concepts; (2) designing and applying mathematical concepts; (3) interpreting calculation results. The instrument in this research consists of 3 items of Numeracy Literacy material on Derivatives. The research results showed that 77% of students were in the low category, 14% of students were in the medium category, and 9% were in the high category, thus it can be concluded that in general, students' ability to solve numeracy literacy problems is still low.

Abstract

Technology plays a significant role in advancing education as it facilitates educators in teaching abstract subjects that are difficult to understand, such as mathematics. Mathematics is a key component of human intellectual capability and the revolution of scientific knowledge. In mathematics learning, without engaging teaching media, students tend to disregard the teacher's explanations, become passive, get bored quickly, and merely take notes on the presented material. Therefore, innovative learning media, such as interactive math comics, need to be developed. This study aims to determine students' responses to the use of AKM practice books in mathematics learning. This research is descriptive and focuses on the level of student satisfaction with the learning process using AKM practice books. Students' responses were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire and then analyzed using data categorization techniques. The results of the study indicate that trial results in both small-scale and large-scale classes showed an average rating of very good. Consequently, the AKM practice book is considered practical to use as it received positive feedback from students, being highly useful in the learning process. The AKM practice book, as a mathematics learning medium, significantly aids in the learning process due to its attractive design, easily understandable question texts, clearly explained content, and it makes students feel happy and very interested. Thus, the response of class X8 students at SMA N 1 Sedayu towards the AKM practice book on statistical material is positive and practical for use.

Abstract

Accountability and transparency in managing school funding within School-Based Management (SBM) are key principles guiding how schools manage, utilize, and report funds. This study aims to explore these practices in funding management for facilities at PAUD Ashofa Atshila. Using qualitative methods, the study involved the school principal and one administrative staff member as informants. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The study found that SBM at PAUD Ashofa Atshila Kampar has improved facilities supporting the teaching and learning process, such as televisions, air conditioners (AC), and projectors. To enhance fund management quality, PAUD Ashofa Atshila Kampar needs to improve its understanding and practice of accountability and transparency. Necessary steps include regular financial reporting, clear communication about fund usage to all school stakeholders, and community participation. In conclusion, implementing SBM at PAUD Ashofa Atshila Kampar has increased accountability and transparency in managing funding for facilities and infrastructure. This positively impacts the enhancement of teaching facilities, making the educational process more effective. Currently, facilities at PAUD Ashofa Atshila Kampar are in the procurement stage. However, shortcomings in transparency and accountability, such as the lack of regular financial reports, need to be addressed.
